
SOUND HUB COMPACT Diagnostics Mode and Manual Channel Selection
Wireless Diagnostic mode:
1. With the music still playing, press and hold the SOUND HUB
COMPACT Link & Connect buon for 10 seconds then release it.
This will launch the SOUND HUB COMPACT wireless diagnostic
mode, where it is possible to read the wireless channel and
manually select a channel.
2. The SOUND HUB COMPACT top panel LED indicators 8 and 10
will now illuminate as will one of indicators 1 to 6.
Indicators 8 + 10 indicates the wireless diagnostics mode
whereas Indicators 1 to 6 indicate which of the six possible
wireless channels is in use.
If the Indicator 1 to 6 changes every few seconds, this reveals
that the wireless environment is congested and the SOUND
HUB COMPACT is jumping channels.
3. A fixed wireless channel can now be selected by using the
SOUND HUB COMPACT remote control Volume Up and Volume
Down buons. The selected channel indicator, 1 to 6 ,will flash for
a short time then switch to continuous illumination. Indicator 9 will
also illuminate to indicate “fixed channel mode”
4. Exit the wireless diagnostic mode again by pressing the SOUND
HUB COMPACT Link & Connect buon.
NOTES:
In order to identi the best channel, select each one in turn and leave
the music playing for a couple of minutes. Nearby wireless equipment
with auto channel switching enabled will vacate the selected SOUND
HUB COMPACT channel. Once you have tried each channel for a minute
or two you will have an idea which one is the least prone to interference.
If you wish to return the SOUND HUB COMPACT to auto channel
selection, press the Link & Connect buon for 10 seconds to re-enter
wireless Diagnostic mode. Now press the SOUND HUB COMPACT
remote control Volume Up/down buon until indicators 1 to 6 all flash
and indicator 9 switched o, this indicates Auto mode.
Press the Link & Connect buon to exit wireless channel setup mode.
Reseing the SOUND HUB COMPACT using its rear panel pin-hole
buon will also return it to auto channel selection mode.
The SOUND HUB COMPACT rear panel Band Selection switch is
inactive when the unit is configured with a fixed wireless channel.
