DEFINITION
Warning Represents dangerous situations or actions that may cause personal injury or death.
Caution Represents situations or actions that may cause damage to the thermal imager or
permanent data loss.
Attention Represents prompt information useful to users.
Important information
please read before using the instrument
Warning –This instrument has a built-in laser transmitter. Do not stare into the laser beam.
The laser specification is 635 nm, 0.9mW, Class II.
Caution–Because the thermal imager uses a very sensitive thermal sensor, it is not allowed to
directly aimthe lens at a strong radiation source (such as the sun, direct or reflected laser beam,
etc.) under any circumstances (turn on or off), otherwise the thermal imager will be affected.
Cause permanent damage!
Caution- The original packaging box must be used during transportation. Do not shake or
bump the thermal imager strongly during use and transportation.
Caution–It is recommended to use the original packaging box when storing the thermal
imager, and place it in a cool, dry, ventilated environment without strong electromagnetic
fields.
Caution -Avoid oil stains and various chemical substances from staining and damaging the
lens surface.After use, please close the lens cap.
CautionIn order to prevent the potential danger of data loss, please copy (backup) the data to
the computer frequently.

Attention Before reading the data accurately, the thermal imager may need 3-5 minutes to
warm up.
Attention -Each thermalimager has been temperature-calibrated before leaving the factory. It
is recommended to perform temperature calibration every year.
Attention -Do not open the case or modify it without authorization. Maintenance can only be
carried out by authorized personnel of our company.

1INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the LTX series of handheld infrared thermal imaging cameras (hereinafter
referred to as thermal imaging cameras) from Zhejiang Dali Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter
referred to as Dali Technology).
Model identification
LT3-P thermal imager adopts 25um 160*120 detector, temperature measurement range is
-20°C～+350°C, 3.5″TFT LCD, can be extended to 650°C.
LT7-P thermal imager adopts 25um 384*288 detector, temperature measurement range is
-20°C～+650°C, 3.5″TFT LCD, can be extended to 1200°C.

OPTIONALS
Both LT3-P and LT7-P can be upgraded to use telephoto or wide-angle lenses;
LT7-P can be upgraded to use high temperature expansion lens to increase the high
temperature measurement range.

[1] Switch
Used to turn on and turn off the thermal imager. Press this switch for more than three seconds to
turn on/off the thermal imager.
! Atention ：It is recommended to wait at least ten seconds after turning off and turning on the
camera again to ensure the safety of the thermal imager.
[2] Selection/Auto key (markedA)
The button marked A has the following three functions.
a) The first function is to modify the selected parameters. Perform this function by quickly
pressing (less than 2 seconds) and releasing the button to modify the selected parameter. Each time
you press this key to select the next parameter, the selected parameter will be marked in yellow.

This feature includes:
Temperature measurement points, lines and areas
Point, line and area-switch the points, lines and areas added on the interface from top to
bottom. Press the menu key to pop upthe attribute box, press the "C" keyto delete the selected
temperature measurement object。
Persudo color
When the color code is selected, press the up and down keys to switch the selectable color code.
The selected color code will become the color code of the current image in about three seconds and
will be the default color code of the next startup.
Persudo Upper and lower limit
When the upper and lower limits of the color code are selected, press the left and right keys to
increase or decrease the temperature range of the upper and lower limits of the color bar; press
the up and down keys to shift the temperature range corresponding to the color code. If you
modify any of these parameters in automatic mode, it will become manual mode.
b）The second function is to force zero adjustment. Press the Akey for more than 5 seconds,
the thermal imager will automatically calibrate to obtain accurate measurements.
[3] Cancel/Visible light Button（Tag C）
Press the button to cancel the current menu operation in menu mode.
Press the button to return to the active mode in frozen image or playback mode.
Press the button to switch among thermal image, visible image and fusion in non-menu and
parameter modification mode.
Press the button to delete the measurement parameter when selecting a measurement
parameter such as a measurement point.
[4] Frozen/Saving （Tag S）
To freeze or save images. Press the button once to freeze the image, press the cancel button to
