be followed to reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and personal injury.

motor base in water or other liquid.
3. Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or

4. Unplug from the outlet when not in use, before putting or taking off
parts and before cleaning.
5. Avoid contacting moving parts.
6. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug, or after
the appliance malfunctions, or has been dropped or damaged in any

7. The use of attachments is not recommended.
8. Do not use outdoors.

21. NEVER PLACE THE BLADE ASSEMBLY ON THE BASE
WITHOUT THE BOTTLE PROPERLYATTACHED.
This appliance is intended for household use only. This appliance
is equipped with a polarized plug. This type of plug has one blade
wider than the other. The plug will fit into an electrical outlet only
one way. This is a safety feature intended to help reduce the risk of
electrical shock. If you are unable to insert the plug into the outlet,
try reversing the plug. If the plug should still fail to fit, contact a
qualified electrician to replace the obsolete outlet. Do not attempt
to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized plug by modifying the
plug in any way.
The length of the cord used on this appliance was selected to re-
duce the hazards of becoming tangled in, or tripping over a longer
cord. Do not use an extension cord with this appliance.

Operating Instructions
FEATURES
Before first use, make sure that all features are included and not damaged. It is recom-
mended that you clean your blender prior to first use.
1. Place the motor base on a flat surface. Place the bottle on a flat surface open face up.
2. Fill the bottle with ingredients. Be sure not to fill past the 600 ml line.
Note: All fruit or vegetables should be peeled, cored and cut in to manageable pieces prior
to being placed in the bottle. For optimal performance, ensure that there is an appropriate
liquid to solid ratio.
3. Twist (clockwise) the blade assembly onto the open end of the bottle.
4. Put the bottle with blade assembly attached into the motor unit, make sure the arrow
on the motor unit is aligned with the blade assembly, then turn the assembly clockwise
to lock it in place.
5. Connect the plug to the wall outlet, the appliance will start operating.
Note: For best results, we recommend operating the unit for less than 3 minutes at a time.
6. When you have blended your ingredients to a desired result, unplug the unit.
7. Turn the bottle and blade assembly counter clockwise to unlock the unit.
8. Place the bottle upright and carefully remove the blade assembly, by turning it counter
clockwise.
9. Place the drinking lid on the bottle.

• Always disconnect the appliance from the power outlet before cleaning.
• All parts EXCEPT THE MOTOR BASE are dishwasher safe. To quickly clean the blade
and bottle, without using the dishwasher, put a small amount of soap and warm water
into the bottle. Twist the blade onto the bottle. Run the blender for a few seconds,
disconnect the power. Remove the bottle and blade and rinse them under hot water.
Dry the unit with a clean cloth.
• The blade assembly can also be cleaned using warm soapy water and a sponge. After
carefully cleaning the blade with the sponge, rinse with hot water and dry.
• DO NOT PUT THE MOTOR BASE IN THE DISHWASHER OR SUBMERGE IT IN
WATER. If the motor becomes dirty, simply wipe it clean with a damp cloth, making
sure you do not get moisture in the motor.
• Do not use chemicals, steel wool or sharp objects to clean the unit, this can
result in scratching the appliance or damaging the finish.

This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating
conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter
“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year
During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s
option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.

Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all
obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.

Cet appareil est destiné à un usage domestique seulement. Cet
appareil est muni d’une fiche polarisée. Ce genre de fiche comporte
une lame qui est plus large que l’autre. La fiche ne s’insère que
dans un seul sens dans une prise de courant. Ceci est une mesure
de sécurité destinée à réduire le risque de choc électrique. Si vous
ne pouvez pas insérer la fiche dans la prise de courant, essayez
d’inverser la fiche. Si la fiche ne s’insère toujours pas, contactez un
électricien qualifié afin de remplacer la prise de courant obsolète.
Ne pas essayer de contourner le dispositif de sécurité de la fiche
polarisée en la modifiant de façon quelconque.
La longueur du cordon fourni avec cet appareil a été sélectionnée
afin de réduire les risques d’enchevêtrement et de trébuchement,
causés par un cordon plus long. Ne pas utiliser une rallonge avec
cet appareil.

Consignes d’utilisation
CARACTÉRISTIQUES
UTILISATION DE VOTRE MIXER
Avant le premier usage, s’assurer que toutes les pièces sont inclues, et qu’elles ne sont pas
endommagées. Il est recommandé de nettoyer le mélangeur avant la première utilisation.
1. Placez le socle-moteur sur une surface plane. Placez la bouteille sur une surface plane avec
l’ouverture orientée vers le haut.
2. Remplissez la bouteille des ingrédients. Assurez-vous de ne pas dépasser le repère de 600
ml.
Remarque : Tous les fruits et légumes doivent être pelés, le cœur retiré, et découpés en
morceaux de taille gérable avant d’être placés dans la bouteille. Pour un fonctionnement optimal,
assurez-vous qu’il y a un ratio liquide/solide approprié.
3. Faites tourner (dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre) l’assemblage de la lame pour le
fixer sur l’ouverture de la bouteille.
4. Mettez la bouteille avec l’assemblage de la lame fixé dessus dans l’unité du moteur, en s’as-
surant que la flèche sur l’unité du moteur est alignée avec l’assemblage de la lame; puis,
faites tourner l’assemblage dans le sens des aiguilles d’une montre et faites-le verrouiller en
place.
5. Branchez la fiche dans une prise murale; l’appareil commencera à fonctionner.
Remarque : Pour obtenir de meilleurs résultats, il est recommandé de faire fonctionner l’appareil
pendant des périodes moins de 3 minutes en une seule fois.
6. Après avoir mélangé les ingrédients et atteint le résultat souhaité, débranchez l’appareil.
7. Faites tourner la bouteille et l’assemblage de la lame dans le sens inverse des aiguilles
d’une montre pour déverrouiller l’unité.
8. Posez la bouteille à la verticale et enlevez soigneusement l’assemblage de la lame en le
tournant dans le sens inverse des aiguilles d’une montre.
9. Mettez le couvercle pour boire sur la bouteille.

Soins et entretien
• Toujours débrancher l’appareil de la prise de courant avant d’effectuer le nettoyage.
• Toutes les pièces SAUF LE MOTEUR sont lavables au lave-vaisselle. Afin de nettoyer
la lame et la bouteille rapidement, sans utiliser le lave-vaisselle, mettez une petite
quantité du savon et de l’eau tiède dans la bouteille. Faites tourner la lame sur la
bouteille. Faites fonctionner le mélangeur pendant quelques secondes, puis débran-
chez-le de l’alimentation électrique. Enlevez la bouteille et la lame et rincez-les à l’eau
chaude. Essuyez l’unité avec un chiffon propre.
• Il est également possible de nettoyer l’assemblage de la lame en utilisant de l’eau
savonneuse tiède et une éponge. Après avoir nettoyé la lame soigneusement avec
l’éponge, rincez la lame à l’eau chaude et séchez-la.
• NE PAS METTRE LE MOTEUR DANS LE LAVE-VAISSELLE, NI L’IMMERGER
DANS L’EAU. Si le moteur devient sale, essuyez-le tout simplement avec un chiffon
humide propre, en se rassurant de ne pas permettre l’humidité d’entrer dans le mo-
teur.
• Ne pas utiliser de produits chimiques, de laine d’acier, ni d’objets pointus pour
nettoyer l’appareil, puisque cela pourrait égratigner l’appareil ou endommager
sa finition.

LIMITED IN-HOME APPLIANCE WARRANTY
This quality product is warranted to be free from manufacturer’s defects in material and workmanship, provided that the unit is used under the normal operating
conditions intended by the manufacturer.
This warranty is available only to the person to whom the unit was originally sold by Danby Products Limited (Canada) or Danby Products Inc. (U.S.A.) (hereafter
“Danby”) or by an authorized distributor of Danby, and is non-transferable.
TERMS OF WARRANTY
Plastic parts, are warranted for thirty (30) days only from purchase date, with no extensions provided.
First Year
During the rst twelve (12) months, any functional parts of this product found to be defective, will be repaired or replaced, at warrantor’s
option, at no charge to the ORIGINAL purchaser.
To obtain
Danby reserves the right to limit the boundaries of “In Home Service” to the proximity of an Authorized Service Depot. Any app liance

requiring service outside the limited boundaries of “In Home Service” , it will be the consumer’s responsibility to transport the appliance (at
their own expense) to the original retailer (point of purchase) or a service depot for repair. See “Boundaries of In Home Serv ice” below.
Contact your dealer from whom your unit was purchased, or contact your nearest authorized Danby service depot, where service
must be performed by a qualied service technician.
If service is performed on the units by anyone other than an authorized service depot, or the unit is used for commercial appli cation, all
obligations of Danby under this warranty shall be void.
Boundaries of
If the appliance is installed in a location that is 100 kilometers (62 miles) or more from the nearest service center your unit must be

delivered to the nearest authorized Danby Service Depot, as service must only be performed by a technician qualied and certif ied for
warranty service by Danby. Transportation charges to and from the service location are not protected by this warranty and are t he
responsibility of the purchaser.
Nothing within this warranty shall imply that Danby will be responsible or liable for any spoilage or damage to food or other c ontents of this appliance, whether due
to any defect of the appliance, or its use, whether proper or improper.
EXCLUSIONS
Save as herein provided, Danby, there are no other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, express or implied, m ade or intended by Danby or its
authorized distributors and all other warranties, conditions, representations or guarantees, including any warranties, conditio ns, representations or guarantees
under any Sale of Goods Act or like legislation or statue is hereby expressly excluded. Save as herein provided, Danby shall no t be responsible for any damages
to persons or property, including the unit itself, howsoever caused or any consequential damages arising from the malfunction o f the unit and by the purchase of
the unit, the purchaser does hereby agree to indemnify and hold harmless Danby from any claim for damages to persons or propert y caused by the unit.
GENERAL PROVISIONS
No warranty or insurance herein contained or set out shall apply when damage or repair is caused by any of the following:
1) Power failure.
2) Damage in transit or when moving the appliance.
3) Improper power supply such as low voltage, defective house wiring or inadequate fuses.
4) Accident, alteration, abuse or misuse of the appliance such as inadequate air circulation in the room or abnormal operating con ditions
(extremely high or low room temperature).
5) Use for commercial or industrial purposes (ie. If the appliance is not installed in a domestic residence).
6) Fire, water damage, theft, war, riot, hostility, acts of God such as hurricanes, oods etc.
7) Service calls resulting in customer education.
8) Improper Installation (ie. Building-in of a free standing appliance or using an appliance outdoors that is not approved for out door application).
Proof of purchase date will be required for warranty claims; so, please retain bills of sale. In the event warranty service is required, present this document to our
AUTHORIZED SERVICE DEPOT.

tiene un enchufe polarizado. Este tipo de enchufe tiene una pata
más ancha que la otra. Este enchufe sólo puede conectarse a un
tomacorriente de una sola forma. Esta es una medida de seguridad

CÓMO USAR SU LICUADORA
Antes del primer uso, Asegurese que todas las partes estan incluidas y sin daño. Es
recomendable que limpie la licuadora antes del primer uso.
1. Coloque el motor sobre una superficie plana. Coloque la botella en una superficie
plana con la cara abierta hacia arriba.
2. Llene la botella con ingredients. Asegurese de no llenar la botella mas alla de la linea
de 600ml.
Nota: Todas las frutas o las verduras deben ser peladas, sin corazón y cortadas en trozos
manejables antes de ser colocado en la botella. Para un rendimiento óptimo, asegúrese de
que hay una cantidad apropiada de líquido en relación a lo sólido.
3. Gire (en sentido horario) el ensamble de cuchillas en el extremo abierto de la botella.
4. Coloque la botella con el emsamble de cuchillas conjunto en el motor de la unidad,
asegurase que la flecha en el motor este alineado con la flecha en el ensamble de
cuchillas, gire el ensamble en sentido horario para asegurarla en su lugar.
5. Conecte el enchufe en el toma corriente de pared, el aparato empezara a funcionar.
Nota: Para un major resultado recomendamos usar la unidad por menos de 3 minutos
cada vez.
6. Cuando haya licuado los ingredientes al resultado deseado, desconecte la unidad.
7. Gire la botella y el ensamble de cuchillas en sentido contrario del reloj para desblo-
quear la unidad.
8. Coloque la botella verticalmente y cuidadosamente remueva el emsamble de cuchillas
girandolas en sentido contrario del reloj.
9. Coloque la tapa en la botella para beber.

• Siempre desenchufe el artefacto del tomacorriente antes de limpiarlo.
• Todas las partes except el motor son seguras de lavar en el lavaplatos. Para limpiar
las cuchillas y la botella sin usar el lavaplatos, coloque una pequeña cantidad de
jabon y agua tibia en la botella. Gire las cuchillas en la botella. Encienda la licuadore
por algunos segundos, desconecte el enchufe. Separe la botella de las cuchillas y
enjuage en agua caliente. Seque la unidad con un paño limpio
• El ensamble de cuchillas tambien puede limpiarce usando agua tibia enjabonada
y una esponja. Despues de limpiar cuidadosamente las cuchillas con la esponja,
enjuage con agua caliente y seque.
• NO COLOQUE EL MOTOR EN EL LAVAVAJILLAS NI LO SUMERJA EN AGUA. Si
el motor se ensucia, simplemente límpielo con un trapo húmedo, asegurándose de
que no entre humedad en el motor.
• No use productos químicos, lana de acero u objetos filosos para limpiar la uni-
dad, podría rayar la unidad o dañar su acabado.
