• Only use the magnetic charging cable provided to charge the
headphones.
• Frequent charging may reduce the battery performance.

• Do not dismantle the headphones yourself for any reason.
• Do not clean the headphones with oil, or any corrosive cleaning
agents.

Put the headphones around your head and move the drums around
your ears as shown. Adjust the headphones to get the best spot for
hearing.

*The headphones will automatically connect to your device when
turning on next time.
Upon first use, press and hold the Function key for 3 seconds. The
indicator light will flash white and blue, meaning the headphones
are on. Search for “Dartwood BC-X8” in the Bluetooth menu of your
mobile device. You will hear “connected” once it is paired.
Pairing
Pair multiple devices
To pair more than one mobile device, turn off the Bluetooth from the
first paired device. Then the indicator light will flash white and blue,
search for “Dartwood BC-X8” from the second device and connect.

Bluetooth / Music (MP3) Mode
Charging
1. Fully charge the headphones before using them for the first time.
2. Only use the magnetic charging cable provided to charge the
headphones.
3. Snap the magnetic end to the charging port and connect to the
power source.
4. The indicator light will be solid white when charging, it will turn
to solid blue once it is fully charged.
5. The headphones take about 2 hours to fully charge.
To play the music from the built-in storage, add the supported song
files (MP3/FLAC/APE) to the headset.
1. Connect the headphones with the charging cable to your
computer.
2. A white LED will flash when connected to the computer.
3. Drag the song files into the mass folder.
4. When playing, double-click the Function key to switch between
music mode and Bluetooth mode.

Frequently Asked Questions
Why can’t I pair my headphones?
Make sure the indicator light is flashing white and blue. If you have
paired the headphones before, turn off the paired device first. If you
are not sure which devices are connected, go to a room without any
other devices - it will be easier to pair a new one.
Can these headphones be used while bathing or swimming?
These headphones are waterproof and can be used while bathing or
swimming. Avoid using in salt water. Clean with a damp cloth and let
dry after use.
Why is there no sound coming from my headphones when playing?
The volume is most likely too low. Increase the volume and adjust the
headphone drums to the best spot for hearing.
Why can’t I switch to Music (MP3) Mode?
Make sure the device has audio tracks stored in its memory. Double
click the Function key and you will hear “music” once switched,
check / adjust the volume if you still can’t hear anything.
