IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be
followed, including:
• Read all instructions.
• Remove all bags and packaging
from appliance before use.
• Wipe down and dry Iced Beverage
Brewer before using for the rst
time.
• Use only water in this appliance
except as directed in the
Maintenance section of this manual.
• Prior to rst-time use, run the Iced
Beverage Brewer with just water – do
not use any tea – and then pour it
out. This will eliminate any odors or
dust that may have collected in the
Water Tank.
• For maintenance other than
cleaning, please contact us directly

• To prevent the risk of re, electric
shock, or personal injury, do not
place the cord, plug, or unit near
water or other liquids.
• Always be sure to unplug the

experience and knowledge unless

and instruction concerning use

• Do not open the Brew Basket Lid
while the device is in operation.
• To prevent personal injury, do
not touch the surface of the
Iced Beverage Brewer during or
immediately following use. Allow
appliance to cool after each use.
• Allow Iced Beverage Brewer to cool
completely before moving, cleaning,
or disassembling.
• Do not let the cord touch hot
surfaces or hang over the edge of
tables or counters.
• Do not place appliance on or near a
hot gas burner, hot electric burner,
or in a heated oven.
• When disposing of the Iced
Beverage Brewer, do not discard
with general household waste;
instead, drop off at a designated
electronic waste recycling facility.
• Do not touch hot surfaces. Use
handles or knobs.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use
and before cleaning. Allow to cool
before putting on or taking off parts,
and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with
a damaged cord or plug or after the
appliance malfunctions, or has been
damaged in any manner. Return
appliance to the nearest authorized
service facility for examination,
repair or adjustment.
• Scalding may occur if the lid is
removed during the brewing cycles.
• Do not use appliance for other than
intended use. Do not use appliance
outdoors or for commercial
purposes.
• Always attach plug to appliance rst,
then plug cord into the wall outlet.
To disconnect, turn any control to
“off,” then remove plug from wall
outlet.
• StoreBound shall not accept liability
for damages caused by improper
use of the appliance.
• Improper use of the Iced Beverage
Brewer can result in property
damage or even in personal injury.
• This appliance has a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will t in a polarized outlet
only one way. If the plug does not
completely t in the outlet, reverse
the plug. If it still does not t, contact
a qualied electrician. Do not modify
the plug in any way.
• Extension cords are not
recommended for use with this
appliance. If an extension cord must
be used, make sure the electrical
rating of the wire is compatible with
the Iced Beverage Brewer.
• Caution: Extremely hot liquid.

POWER-SUPPLY CORD ADVISORY
a) A short power-supply cord (or detachable power-supply cord) is to be
provided to reduce risks resulting from becoming entangled in or tripping over
a longer cord.
b) Longer detachable power-supply cords or extension cords are available and
may be used if care is exercised in their use.
c) If a long detachable power-supply cord or extension cord is used:
1. The marked electrical rating of the detachable power-supply cord or
extension cord should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the
appliance;
2. If the appliance is of the grounded type, the extension cord should be a
grounding type 3-wire cord; and
3. The longer cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the counter
top or table top where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over.

Before rst use, remove all packaging materials and clean your Dash Iced
Beverage Brewer thoroughly. To clean the appliance prior to rst use, pour
24 oz. water into the Water Tank and ll the Pitcher with ice up to the Ice Level
Line. Brew the water with no tea in the lter. Discard the water.
WARNING: The Iced Beverage Brewer is NOT dishwasher safe.
1. Place the Iced Beverage Brewer on a dry, stable surface.
2. Lift the Water Tank off the Base and ll with water. If the
Water Tank is leaking water, discard the water and press
the Water Tank Valve down gently. Then rell with water.
Close the Water Tank Lid. Do not overll the Water Tank.
3. Place the Water Tank back onto the Base by pressing
down rmly, making sure that the notches in the side of
the base connect with the two slots in the front of the
Water Tank.
4. Open the Brew Basket Lid. If Removable Filter Basket
and Filter are not in place, set the Removable Filter
Basket in place and then set the lter on top. Place tea
bags, loose leaf tea, or coffee grounds into the lter. Do
not use more than 4 tbsp loose leaf tea or coffee. Close
the Brew Basket Lid.
5. Adjust the Strength Control Dial to your desired brew
strength. Sliding the Control to the left makes a weaker
brew and to the right makes a stronger brew.
6. Fill the Pitcher with ice to the Ice Level Line. Place the
Pitcher on the Base.
7. Plug the Iced Beverage Brewer into an outlet and press
the Power Button. When the Iced Beverage Brewer is
on and brewing, the Power Button will illuminate. The
Iced Beverage Brewer will automatically turn off once all
the water has been brewed. Wait 10-15 minutes before
brewing another batch of iced tea.
8. Remove your iced tea and enjoy.
Note: Be very careful when opening the Brew Basket
Lid after brewing as hot steam will escape from the
chamber when opened. We recommend that you allow
the appliance to cool before attempting to clean.

MAINTENANCE
In order to keep your Dash Iced Beverage Brewer in pristine working order,
follow the cleaning recommendations after each use.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Do not submerge the base of the Iced Beverage Brewer
in water or any other liquids. To avoid damaging the appliance, never use
abrasive or harsh cleaning products to clean the Iced Beverage Brewer
surface.
1. Lift the Brew Basket Lid and remove the Filter. Discard tea.
2. Remove the Filter Basket and Water Tank. Wash all removable parts with
warm, soapy water. Make sure to dry all parts before reassembling the Iced
Beverage Brewer.
3. Wipe down the outside of the Iced Beverage Brewer with a clean, damp
cloth and then dry.
Periodically, the Iced Beverage Brew should be de-scaled according to the
instructions below.
1. Fill Water Tank with 12-24 oz. equal parts white vinegar and water. Close the
Water Tank.
2. Open the Brew Basket Lid and set the Filter Basket and Filter in place. Close
the Brew Basket Lid.
3. Put some ice in the Pitcher or ll the Pitcher with water to the Water Level
Line and cover with the Lid. Place the Pitcher on the Base.
4. Press the Power Button and let the Iced Beverage Brewer brew all of the
water.
5. Discard contents of the Pitcher and then ll with ice again. Wait 10-15
minutes.
6. Repeat the process with 24 oz. water. Repeat with water 2-3 times to remove
any remaining vinegar from the Iced Beverage Brewer.
7. Clean according to maintenance instructions on page 10. Ensure all parts
are dry before storing. Store in a clean, dry place away from direct sunlight
and any heat sources.

While Dash products are durable, you may encounter one or more of the
problems listed below. If the issue is either not resolved by the solutions
recommended below or not included on this page, please contact our
Customer Support Team at 1-800-898-6970 or suppor[email protected].
My iced tea (or coffee) is too weak or too strong.
• Adjust the Strength Control Dial to the left for a weaker brew or to the right for
a stronger brew. You can also adjust the amount of tea or coffee that you are
using in the lter to taste.
The tea or coffee is overowing from the Brew Basket.
• If the Filter Basket is overowing, turn off the Iced Beverage Brewer. Make
sure that the hole at the bottom of the Filter Basket is not clogged. You may
need to use less tea or coffee or descale your Iced Beverage Brewer. Do not
place more than 4 tbsp of loose leaf tea or coffee grounds in the Filter.
The Iced Beverage Brewer will not let me brew a second batch.
• The Iced Beverage Brewer must cool down for 10-15 minutes between each
cycle. If the Brewer is still not working after 15 minutes, unplug the Brewer
and allow to cool for an additional 15 minutes before you try again.
My Iced Beverage Brewer won’t start brewing.
• Check to make sure the Iced Beverage Brewer is plugged into a power outlet.
• Check to make sure the power outlet is operating correctly.
• Determine if a power failure has occurred in your home, apartment, or
building.

Spicy Chai Tea
Ingredients: 2-3 tbsp loose leaf black tea, 1” fresh ginger (peeled and sliced
into rounds), 2 cinnamon sticks, 2 tsp black peppercorns, 10 whole cloves,
6 cardamom pods, 1 cup milk, ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup water
Directions: Place ginger, cinnamon sticks, peppercorns, cloves, and cardamom
in the bottom of the Filter and then add black tea. Fill the Pitcher with ice and
then brew tea. Warm water slightly in the microwave and mix in brown sugar
until dissolved. Pour brown sugar and milk over iced tea and stir.
Honey Mint Green Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 green tea bags, 1 cup fresh mint leaves, honey simple syrup
(See simple syrup recipes on page 17)
Directions: Crush ½ cup mint. Add crushed and fresh mint to Pitcher and ll
with ice. Brew green tea. Add honey syrup to taste.
Iced Coffee
Ingredients: 3 rounded tbsp coffee, 24 oz water
Directions: Fill Pitcher with ice and scoop coffee into Filter. Fill Water Tank with
24 oz of water and then brew. Serve with milk and sugar to taste.
Southern Style Iced Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 black tea bags, pinch of baking soda, simple syrup, lemon to
garnish
Directions: Add tea bags and baking soda to the Iced Beverage Brewer. Brew.
Add simple syrup to taste and garnish with lemon.
Half and Half ICED Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 black tea bags, ½ can (12 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate,
simple syrup to taste
Directions: Thaw frozen lemonade concentrate. Pour ½ of the can of
concentrate into Pitcher and ll with ice. Brew black tea and sweeten with
simple syrup to taste.
Earl Grey MAPLE Iced Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 earl gray tea bags, ¼-½ cup maple syrup, 1 cup milk or
soy milk
Directions: Fill Pitcher with ice and brew tea. Stir in milk and maple syrup to
taste.
Raspberry Peach Iced Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 white tea bags, 1 cup raspberries, 2 ripe peaches, ¼ cup
agave, mint to garnish
Directions: Fill Pitcher with ice and brew black tea. Blend raspberries, peaches,
and agave in a blender. Whisk the fruit mixture into the tea and garnish with
mint.
Rosemary Citrus Green Tea
Ingredients: 6-8 green tea bags, 1 orange, 3-4 sprigs rosemary, 1 lime, honey
to taste
Directions: Cut orange into round slices and juice the lime. Add orange, lime,
and rosemary to Pitcher. Fill Pitcher with ice and brew green tea. Stir in honey to
taste and serve.

Pineapple Mint Tea Spritzer
Ingredients: 6-8 moroccan mint tea bags, 1 cup pineapple juice, ½ cup
sparking or tonic water, mint to garnish
Directions: Fill Pitcher with ice and brew mint tea. Add pineapple juice and
sparking water. Stir well and garnish with mint.
Jasmine Ginger Tea
Ingredients: 6 jasmine tea bags, 1” piece of ginger (peeled and sliced into
rounds), simple syrup to taste, 2 lemons, 1 lime, lemon and lime to garnish
Directions: Juice 2 lemons and 1 lime into the Pitcher. Fill with ice. Place ginger
and jasmine tea bags into the Filter and brew. Stir in simple syrup to taste and
garnish with lemons and limes.
Thai Iced Tea
Ingredients: 6 red Thai or black tea bags, 3 star anise, 3 whole cloves, 2 green
cardamom pods, 2 tbsp sugar, ¼-½ cup sweetened condensed milk
Directions: Fill Pitcher with ice and place tea bags, star anise, cloves, and
cardamom pods in the Filter. Brew. Add in sugar and sweetened condensed
milk and stir.
Simple Syrup Recipes
Simple syrups add lots of avor to iced teas and can be mixed into just about
any beverage recipe.
Classic: Heat 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water over medium heat, stirring until sugar
has completely dissolved. Remove from heat and allow to cool.
Mint: Add 1 cup of crushed fresh mint leaves with 1 cup sugar and 1 cup water.
Once sugar has dissolved, let mixture stand for about 30 minutes. Discard mint
leaves and store until ready to use.
Rosemary: Bring 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 4 sprigs of rosemary to a boil.
Boil for 10-15 minutes, stirring frequently, and then remove from heat. Let cool.
Discard rosemary and store.
Lemon Basil: Combine 1 cup sugar, 1 cup water, and 1 cup packed fresh basil
leaves, 1 tbsp lemon zest, and 2 tbsp lemon juice and bring to a boil, stirring
until sugar has dissolved. Cover and let mixture cool completely. Pour through
a strainer or sieve to remove basil and lemon zest.
Blackberry: Bring 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup fresh blackberries to a
boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Simmer gently for 10 minutes. Remove
from heat and smash blackberries. Allow to cool and then pour through a mesh
strainer, using a spoon to push as much liquid through the strainer as possible.
Mango: Bring 1 cup water, 1 cup sugar, and 1 cup pureed fresh mango to a
boil, stirring until sugar has dissolved. Simmer gently for 2-3 minutes. Let cool
and then pour mixture through a sieve.
Honey: Heat ½ cup honey and ½ cup over medium heat, stirring just until the
honey dissolves. Remove from heat and allow to cool.

troubleshooting in an attempt to x any minor problems. If troubleshooting
fails to x the problem, a return authorization will be issued. Proof of purchase

number. We are unable to ship returns to a PO Box. StoreBound will not be
responsible for delays or unprocessed claims resulting from a purchaser’s
failure to provide any or all of the necessary information. Freight costs must be
