You can configure the T1-US2DS01 to use the following Storage
Policies to map its appliance's physical hard drives to virtual drives
that are visible to the host computer.
- BIG (Concatenation)
- JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks)
- FAST (RAID 0)
- SAFE (RAID 1)
- SAFE33 (1/3 to SAFE mode and 2/3 to BIG mode)
- SAFE50 (1/2 to SAFE mode and 1/2 to BIG mode)
- GUI (Use the SteelVine Manager GUI to configure the Storage Policy)
Rotary switch:
To select a storage policy in this mode the first time that
a new factory-shipped product is used, ensure that the
hard disk drives are installed, set the rotary switch on
the back of the T1-US2DS01 to the desired Storage
Policy (not the GUI selection) and turn on the power.
Change Mode Button:
To change the storage policy thereafter, set the rotary
switch to the desired position and press the recessed
Change Mode Button to create the new virtual
volume(s). Creating new virtual volumes will destroy
any existing data that existed on the previous volume,
but expanding an existing BIG volume will not destroy
any existing data.

T1-US2DS01 is an eSATA & USB 2.0 Combo to Dual SATA RAID storage enclosure.
It provides two hot-swappable 3.5" HDD mobile trays for easy installation and un-installation.
T1-US2DS01 is a hardware RAID enclosure, requiring no software installation on the user’s machine.
The user can select different RAID modes for the two 3.5" SATA HDDs.
You can configure the T1-US2DS01 to use the following Storage Policies to map its appliance's physical hard drives to virtual drives that are visible to
the host computer.
* BIG (Concatenation)
* JBOD (Just a Bunch Of Disks)
* FAST (RAID 0)
* SAFE (RAID 1)
* SAFE33 (1/3 to SAFE mode and 2/3 to BIG mode)
* SAFE50 (1/2 to SAFE mode and 1/2 to BIG mode)

Installing Hard Disk Drive
Applications
1. For desktop use
T1 can stand up vertically with foot stands.
1. Unscrew the Lock screw on the Mobile Tray. 6. Replace the Lock screw on the Mobile Tray.
7. Attach the Power Cable
2. To remove the Mobile Tray, hold the mobile tray firmly and
gently pull out the tray from the housing.
3. To install a SATA HDD, simply place the HDD inside the tray
as illustrated below. (A stopper in the rear of the tray is provided
to ensure proper alignment)
4. After placing the HDD inside the tray, secure the HDD with four
screws
5. To insert the tray, hold the mobile tray firmly and push it back into
the housing.
