General Care Instructions
1) CLEANING
 If there is any oil on the blades, when you receive this, then please clean off
using the oil sponge as seen below in the picture or with a soft cloth
 Clean carefully after use using a damp soft cloth, or included oil sponge, to clean
handle and blades ensuring you clean away from the sharp edges (NOT INTO
THEM). Mind your fingers
 Then dry using another cloth if required
2) Ensure they are locked after use
3) Oil lock and cutting mechanism from time to time
4) STORE IN A SECURE, SAFE PLACE
5) DO NOT OVER EXTEND the opening of the handles. The spring will open the
secateurs to their intended width. Should you try to open then further to cut thicker
than 22mm stems/branches then the spring may stretch and therefor no longer open
as required. This will not be covered by warranty.

Switching From Ratchet to Single Cut Mode

Pro Switch 2 in 1 Ratchet Secateurs
Ratchet Secateurs lock by sliding the lock button
over the lower part of the ratchet mechanism
Unlock
1) Squeeze handles and move lock switch backwards
with thumb or 2 fingers
2) It maybe a little stiff for the 1st few unlocks but this
is normal
Lock
1) As above but move lock forwards
NOTE: You may need to squeeze a little more to
ensure the lower part of the ratchet mechanism is
under the lock button
You have the option to choose between ‘Ratchet’ mode for thick branches and
Single Cut mode, same as conventional pruner, if you are pruning smaller branches
1) Squeeze handles together (lock if easier for you)
2) Move small switch on side until it clicks in place, as shown in image to select:
R = Ratchet Mode - up to 22mm stems/branches
S = Single Cut Mode - up to 18mm stems/branches

The ‘Ratchet’ mechanism helps to multiply your hands power. It clicks and moves
to the next setting, after each squeeze & release. This increases pressure as you
cut through so you don’t have to do all of the work—the secateurs do it for you.
Making this ideal for thicker branches.
1) Squeeze and Release 3 times—Each time the blade will slice
through more and the ratchet will click to next level
2) After 3rd or 4th
