Welcome
Congratulations on your purchase of the ConneX™ CREW Audio
Gateway (hereafter, referred to as device). David Clark Company
products are backed by responsive customer service and support.

This document is only intended to provide basic setup instructions for initial access to the device and
connecting it to your network. For advanced configuration and cabling, refer to the User’s manual and Hardware
Manual (respective, which can be downloaded at connex.davidclark.com/help).

Please have access to the David
Clark email that includes default
username/password for
administrator login access. The
password may be changed on first
sign-in.

Required for successful set-up:
Download the free
CREW App
Search your app store
for DC-ConneX CREW
Connect AC Adapter
Connect AC Adapter to AG
device. Then, plug adapter into
wall power outlet.

Power Switch
Right Position
Left Position
Press to left
position to (A)
turn device ON
using wall-
based power
source or (B) to
CHARGE
device.
After device is
fully charged,
press to right
position to turn
device ON
using battery-
based power
source.
Type in password when
prompted
default password:
1234567890
Enable reconnect
whenever in close
proximity to device
Access Wi-Fi Settings
Open list of network
options
Press Power Switch to
Turn ON or Charge
LED will illuminate green when
charging or powered.
Connect Smartphone to
device Wi-Fi network
Audio Gateway device will appear on Wi-Fi
network list approximately 90 seconds after
device being turned on. Follow the
process to access Wi-Fi settings for your
specific smartphone model.
Select network name
with 'DCCI'

Sets up the AG including SSID naming and passwords.
There can only be 1 Administrator per AG device.
Admins may or may not participate in group calls.

ROLE TYPES
Those using the application (Users)
can be classified as:
Each group call requires at least 1 Leader. Leaders can
create and name Groups (up to 2 per device) and
add other Leaders, Participants and Guests. All Users in
a Group can be Leaders.

Single login required, thereafter simply select the
Group being joined.
Participant
Single log in per 24 hour period, thereafter must log in
again for an additional 24 hours.
Guest
Open App and Enter
Admin Credentials
default: admin / admin
Add Authorized Users
Select Menu icon
Select "Add/Edit User to
Audio Gateway"
Select Add icon
Enter User Name
Enter User Password
Enter First Name
Enter Last Name
Select Role from drop down
Press "Submit"

Admin must supply Username/Password to
each user for a User's 1st time login.

Edit Intercom Group
Select Menu icon
Select "Add/Edit Group to
Audio Gateway"
Identify existing Intercom
group to edit
Click Edit icon
Select Users
Press "Save"
Click X to close "Add/Edit
