Overview
This kit provides the parts and information needed for updating or replacing the LED power supply in a DaVinci
fireplace. This power supply will be a smaller and quieter replacement for the older power supplies or a direct
replacement for newer units.
Disconnect gas and power to the fireplace before proceeding.
Make sure the fireplace has fully cooled prior to conducting service.
Installation - (Early Fireplaces)
NOTE
:
If a replacement power supply was previously installed into the fireplace, the
wires marked XFMR (see picture below) may be RED and GREEN rather than the
WHITE and BLACK. If the wires are RED and GREEN, follow the directions on page 3.
1. Gain access to the component area of the fireplace (see installation manual for details).
2. Locate the LED power supply. Disconnect the Molex connector from the “power in” on the fireplace.
Disconnect the wires marked “LED XFMR” from the terminals on the power supply. You may discard the
power supply and harness.

3. Crimp the connectors included with this kit on to the LED XFMR wires
IMPORTANT Crimp the male connector on to the BLACK wire and the female connector
on to the WHITE wire IMPORTANT
4. Install the replacement power supply into the location of the previous power supply. The power supply
should be oriented so the label is facing upward. Secure the power supply in place using the included
wire tie and Velcro strips.
POLARITY DOES MATTER. The BLACK LED wire to the RED power supply wire. The
WHITE LED wire to the BLACK power supply wire.
5. Restore the fireplace to its correct configuration.

Installation - (Current Fireplace)
1. Gain access to the component area of the fireplace (see installation manual for details).
2. Locate the LED power supply. Disconnect the Molex connector from the “power in” on the fireplace. Cut the
Red and Green wires just below the connectors. Remove and Replace the power supply.
3. Crimp the connectors included with this kit on to the red and green wires.
IMPORTANT Crimp the male connector on to the RED wire and the female connector
on to the GREEN wire IMPORTANT
4. Connect the RED and GREEN wires to the corresponding connectors on the power supply (RED to RED,
GREEN to BLACK).
