2. Preparation

EN | The subfloor is the rough subsurface that serves as
the base for the finished terrace. A stable, load-bearing
and pressure-resistant subfloor is essential for the dura-
bility and longevity of the finished terrace. The installer is
responsible to verify and determine, by itself or through
professional intermediaries, the stability of the subfloor
and its suitability for the purpose (i.e. both technical and
legal/regulatory suitability). Deceuninck can under no
circumstances be held responsible for any possible issue
related to or caused by the subfloor and does not make
any representations or warranties in that respect.
FR | Le sol et le sous-sol servent de base à la terrasse finie. Un
sol et un sous-sol résistants à la charge et à la pression sont
essentiels à la durabilité et à la longévité de la terrasse finie.
Il incombe à l’installateur de vérifier et de déterminer, par
lui-même ou par le biais d’intermédiaires professionnels,
que la stabilité du sol et du sous-sol est en adéquation
avec l’objectif recherché (c’est-à-dire l’adéquation tant

basis voor het afgewerkte terras. Een stabiele, draag- en
drukvaste ondergrond is essentieel voor de duurzaamheid
en de levensduur van het afgewerkte terras. De plaatser is
verantwoordelijk voor het nagaan en het vaststellen van
de stabiliteit van de ondergrond en de geschiktheid voor
het doel (d.i. zowel technische als juridische/regelgevende
geschiktheid). Deceuninck kan onder geen enkel beding

der Terrasse. Der Monteur ist verantwortlich für die
Überprüfung und Ermittlung der Stabilität des Untergrunds
entweder durch ihn selbst oder fachkundige Dritte und die
Eignung des Untergrunds für den vorgesehenen Zweck (d.
h. sowohl im Hinblick auf technische als auch auf gesetzliche
Vorgaben). Deceuninck haftet in keinem Fall für Probleme,
die in Zusammenhang mit dem Untergrund stehen oder
durch diesen bedingt sind, und übernimmt diesbezüglich
keinerlei Zusicherungen oder Garantien.

base para la terraza terminada. Una base estable, sólida
y resistente a la presión es esencial para la durabilidad
y longevidad de la terraza terminada. El instalador es
responsable de verificar y determinar, por sí mismo o
a través de profesionales, la estabilidad del suelo y su
idoneidad para el propósito (es decir, idoneidad tanto
técnica como legal / regulatoria). Deceuninck no puede,
en ningún caso, responsabilizarse por cualquier posible

IT | Il sottofondo è il suolo grezzo che funge da base per
il pavimento finito. Un sottofondo stabile, resistente
al carico e resistente alla pressione è essenziale per la
durata e la longevità del pavimento finito. L’installatore è
responsabile di verificare e determinare, da solo o tramite
intermediari professionisti, la stabilità del sottofondo e la

EN | Any length inclination < 10 mm/m can lead to accu-
mulation of dirt, stains, mold and puddles, which could
degrade the product in the long term.

EN | Due to the production process, the length of the
supplied planks (X) is between 15 and 25 mm longer than
the length of the ordered planks (Y). The planks are slightly
rounded at the ends because of the brushing / embossing
process. For a perfect result, it is advisable to cut both ends
of the planks (Z1 + Z2).
FR | En raison du processus de production, la longueur des
planches livrées (X) est de 15 à 25 mm plus longue que la
longueur des planches commandées (Y). Les planches sont
légèrement arrondies aux extrémités en raison du processus
de brossage/ dessin. Pour un résultat parfait, il est conseillé
de couper les deux extrémités des planches (Z1 +Z2).
NL | Omwille van het productieproces is de lengte van
de geleverde plank (X) tussen 15 en 25 mm langer dan
de lengte van de bestelde plank (Y). De planken zijn
licht afgerond aan de uiteinden omwille van het borstel/
embossing proces. Voor een perfect resultaat raden wij aan
om beide zijden van de plank af te zagen (Z1 + Z2).
DE | Produktionsbedingt sind die Profile zwischen (X) 15
bis 25 mm länger als bestellt (Y). Die Profile sind an den
Enden leicht abgerundet aufgrund des Bürstungs- und
Prägeprozess. Für eine perfekte Optik sind beide Profilenden
zu kürzen (Z1+Z2).
ES | Debido a los procesos productivos, la longitud de
las tablas (X) pueden ser entre 15 a 25 mm más largar
de la longitud solicitada (Y). Las tablas son ligeramente
redondeadas en sus extremos debido al proceso de cepillo y
realce. Para un resultado perfecto, se aconseja cortar ambos
extremos de las tablas (Z1+Z2).
IT | A causa del processo produttivo, le doghe da voi
acquistate (X) saranno più lunghe di 15-25mm rispetto alla
lunghezza ordinatas (Y). Le doghe sono arrotondate alle
estremità a causa del processo di spazzolatura e goffratura.
Per un risultato perfetto è consigliato tagliare entrambe le
estremità delle doghe (Z1 + Z2).

EN | If local regulations require to fix the boards with a
screw, the clip can be screwed into the provided opening.
In that case, use a 3.35x13 stainless steel screw.

avec une vis, le clip peut être vissé dans l’ouverture prévue
à cet effet. Dans ce cas, utilisez une vis en acier inoxydable
3,35x13.
NL | Indien plaatselijke wetgeving vereist om planken vast
te maken met een schroef, kan de clips geschroefd worden
in de voorziene opening. In dit geval dient er een roestvrij
stalen schroef van 3,35x13 gebruikt te worden.
DE | Wenn nationale oder lokale Bestimmungen die
Befestigung der Diele fordern, dann kann der Clip durch
den Schraubkanal verschraubt werden. In dem Fall
empfehlen wir den Einsatz einer Edelstahlschraube mit
Bohrspitze in der Abmessung 3,35 x 13.
ES | Si las normas constructivas locales requieren fijar las
tablas con tornillo, el clip puede ser atornillado a través de
la apertura definida para ello. En este caso, utilizar tornillos
de acero inoxidable de 3.35x13.
IT | Se sul luogo dell’installazione è necessario fissare i
bordi con una vite, le clip possono essere avvitate nella
posizione prevista. In tal caso utilizzare una vite in acciaio
inossidabile 3,35*13.
