1. Purpose
MCA 160 boilers equipped with a DIEMATIC EVOLUTION or INICONTROL2 control panel, evolve:
-Evolution of the DIEMATIC Evolution HMI : the new display is blue : better readability and quick access
icons.
-The following electronic boards (PCB's) are evolving, to optimize the cascade operation and the
management of domestic hot water:
•The SCB-10 PCB changes from version 0.5 to version 1.02.
•The burner management PCB: CU-GH06 changes from software version 1.9 to 2.1 version.
-Improved the siphon: easier removing and reassembly.
2. Compatibilities
In case of electronic card replacement, the compatibility of the software versions of the cards must be
checked, as indicated in the table below.

Note: in blue, reference in spare parts (see point 4 hereafter).
CAUTION: In a cascade, the version of each card must be compatible with all other cards in the
cascade (all SCB-10 cards must be at the same version, as well as all CU-GH06 cards must be at the
same version).

3. Reading the software version
To check the PCBs software version, check the label sticked on it, or access the Information menu.

On DIEMATIC Evolution control panel:
-Access the menus by pressing the key
-Select and confirm the Information menu using the rotary button
-Select menu CU-GH06 PCB
-Select then validate parameter Software version to view the CU-GH06 version.
-Press on key to get back
-Select and confirm the SCB-10 PCB menu using the rotary button
-Select then validate parameter Software version to view the SCB-10 PCB version.
On INICONTROL2 control panel:
-Access the menus by pressing simultaneously the two keys on the right,
-Select the Information Menu and access the menu with key ,
-Select the desired PCB using the + / - keys
-Confirm the selection with key ,
-Scroll through the parameters using the + key: the software version appears at the end of the list.
-Return to the main menu by pressing the key.

4. Spare parts
The versions of the SCB-10 and CU-GH06 cards must be compatible (see point 2 Compatibilities, or
see indications below). In a cascade, all SCB-10 cards must be in the same version, as well as all CU-
GH06 cards must be in the same version.
