2. Updating of the SMART TC software version
IMPORTANT: the SMART TC must be connected to the internet to allow the automatic update of its software
version overnight. The following connections must be established:
- Wi-Fi connection
- Internet access
- Access to the server
The update is performed to the latest version: minimum version 1.64.6 (current version).
From factory, the SMART TC are delivered in version 1.56.7.
If there is no WiFinetwork, where the SMART TC° is installed, perform the manual updating of the SMART TC°
software (this is possible from SMART TC version 1.30), as described below :
1. Connect to internet by wifi, as the case may be:
- use the connection sharing on your smartphone (Networks -> Connection sharing -> Activate " Wifi hotspot "),
- or take the Smart TC° to a place where there is internet
2. Access to the WiFimenu of the SMART TC to get connected:
- select the network
- enter the password with the SMART TC knob, and confirm by selecting .
- the SMART TC displays a message to confirm the connection.
3. Select Settings-menu.
4. Select Check for software update sub-menu.
The status of the software is displayed on the screen.
5. When the software has been successfully updated (after a few minutes):
- The Smart TC ° restarts, then returns to the current display.
- The software version can be checked in the menu « Technical Information. » of the SMART TC.
-The message « Software updated » is displayed.
3. Operating conditions
IMPORTANT: at the first start, please update the SMART TC° software version in order to
ensure optimal operation and allow messages and error codes to be sent back up (see
above for the manual update procedure).
•The SMART TC from software version 1.64.6, can be used for appliances connected in cascade.
•The SMART TC can only manage DHW production if DHW production is managed by the mainboard:
- on a heatpump : EHC-xx
- on gas fired boilers : CU-GHxx
- on oil fired boiler : CU-OHxx
•The electronic cards of the appliances must be at least at the software version indicated in the table
hereafter (Chapter 4.). Otherwise, use the AD311 package (with Gateway).
