1. Disassembly Procedures

Turn off the monitor.

Place the monitor on a soft cloth or
cushion.
Press and hold the stand release
button.
Lift the stand up and away from the
monitor.

Unlock 4 screws on Rear Cover
( crew Torque: 8.5±1.0kgf)

Disassemble Rear Cover from the
monitor
Notice the disassembly order:
1) Disassemble the Top part
2) Disassemble the Left / Right part
3) Disassemble the Bottom part
4) Remove RC from Mid-Frame

Tear off the small aluminum foil from
Main HD

Tear off the acetate adhesive tape from
Panel
Pull out CTRL BD FFC cable from I/F
BD and tear off it from Main HD

Pull out U B BD cable from I/F BD and
U B BD

Unlock 5 BZL TRIM screws
( crew Torque: 2.0±0.5kgf)

Disassemble BZL TRIM from
Mid-Frame

Tear off CTRL BD Mylar from CTRL BD

Unlock 3 CTRL BD screws
( crew Torque: 1.2±0.5kgf)

Disassemble CTRL BD, O D Button
and PWR Button

Tear off 2 large acetate adhesive tapes
from the Panel

Unlock 9 MF screws
( crew Torque: 4.0±0.5kgf)

Pull out LED Backlight wire from P
BD and Panel

Tear off aluminum foil and tape from
LVD cable
Pull out the LVD cable from Panel.

Disassemble Mid-Frame from Panel

Unlock U B BD screw and disassemble
U B BD from Mid-Frame
( crew Torque: 4.5±0.5kgf)

Remove afety Mylar from P BD

Unlock 6 PCBA screws from PCBA
( crew Torque: 6.5±1.0kgf)

Unlock 4 hexagonal screws from Main
HD
( crew Torque: 5.0±0.6kgf)

Disassemble I/F BD from Main HD and
unplug P BD wire

Unplug FFC LVD cable from I/F BD

Disassemble P BD from Main HD

Remove electrolyte capacitors (red mark) from printed circuit boards
13-1 Cut the glue between bulk cap. and PCB with a knife
13-2 Ensure cutting path within the glue, don’t touch bulk cap. or PCB

13-3 Take out bulk cap. pin solder with soldering iron and absorber
13-4 Lift the bulk cap. up and away from the PCB
