ThePortableOxygenConcentratorisintendedtoprovidesupplemental
oxygeninahome,institutional,ortravelenvironment.
INTENDED USE
ThePortableOxygenConcentratorisintendedtodeliverconcentratedoxygen
for adult patients with chronic pulmonary diseases such as chronic bronchitis,
emphysema, asthma, or lung cancer, those in the terminal stage of cancer, or
anypatientrequiringsupplementaloxygen.Thedeviceisportable,enabling
patientswhoneedanoxygendevicetobetreatedathomeaccordingtoa
clinician’sprescriptionordirection.ThePortableOxygenConcentratorisa
prescription-onlydevice,isnotintendedforuseinlife-supportingor
life-sustainingsituations,andisprovidednon-sterile.Itisdesignedtobe
usedindoorsoroutdoors.

Charging the Battery
PriortousingthePortableOxygenConcentratorforthefirsttime,installthe
batteryasshowninFigure1.Thebatterywilllatchwhenfullyseated.

ConnecttheACpowersupply(consultApprovedAccessoriesGuide)by
plugging the round connector into the receptacle on the side of the concen-
trator.SeeFigure2.PlugtheotherendoftheACpowersupplyintoapower
outlet.Alwaysusecautionwheninsertingthepowersupplytoawalloutlet.
Chargerrequirementsareuniversaltosupportawidevarietyofinternational
markets,soitcanbepluggedintoanoutletwith100-240VAC,50-60Hz.
Allowthebatterytochargeforaminimumofthreehoursbeforeuse.Once
thebatteryiscompletelycharged,thedevicecanrunonbatteryforapproxi-
mately2-3hoursatasettingof2.0.
