Selecting Channels
There are six ways to select a channel
using your SKYFi™Receiver or
Remote Control.
Enter channel number directly
Press on the receiver or remote
until DIRECT appears in the top right
corner of the screen. Enter channel
number.
Press channel preset
Press on the receiver or remote
until A or B appears at the top of the
screen. Press the number key(s) for
the desired preset.
Turn the scroll wheel
Scroll through channels (fast or slow) with
the SKYFi Receiver scroll wheel .
Select from a list of channels
Press remote keys to
navigate through a list of channels.
Hold key down for faster scanning.
Press to select.
Move channel ahead or back
Press remote or key to tune in
next or previous channel.*
Search by category
Press receiver or remote category
search key until desired cat-
egory is displayed. Use receiver scroll
wheel or remote keys
to scroll through channels within a
category. Press to select.

buttons control the volume.

Changing Display Screens
To switch to a large-type display that
provides greater readability from
across a room
When viewing the main play screen,
press to switch to a larger
channel-number configuration.
Press again to continuously
scroll a large artist name/song title.
To see what artists or songs are
currently playing on multiple XM®
channels
When channel or category lists
are displayed on the screen, push
to show names of artists
currently playing. Press again
to show titles of currently playing
songs.
Setting Presets
Up to 20 preset channels can be
stored in the two memory “banks”
of your SKYFi unit—10 in Preset A
and 10 in Preset B. Here’s how:
Step 1: Tune in the channel you want
to register as a preset.
Step 2: Press until A or B appears
at the top of the display.
Step 3: Press and hold a number key
on the receiver or remote.
The channel-name line will
reverse and audio will mute
for 2 seconds to indicate the
preset has registered.
Previewing Favorite Channels
To display artists and songs currently
playing on your favorite channels:
Step 1: Set your favorite channels as
presets.
Step 2: Select a memory “bank”
(Preset A or Preset B)
using .
Step 3: Press to switch between
display modes for channel
number, artist name, and
song title.
Step 4: Use the scroll wheel or
the remote keys to
scroll through channels
stored in Preset A or Preset B.
Memory: Storing Artist/
Song Title Information
Press to store screen information
for a song. Press and hold to
recall stored information. Up to 10
different artist names/song titles can
be saved at once.
