This Electronic Glass Body Weight Scale (PEB-3711) will provide accurate body weight
readings for you.
Important:
Reset this Electronic Glass Body Weight Scale – You may be able to reset the scale simply
by removing and re-inserting the battery.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
When using this Body Weight Scale (PEB-3711), basic precautions should
always be observed, including the following.
1. User must read and understand this manual prior to using this product. Use as described in
this manual. Use manufacturer’s original accessories and attachments ONLY.
2. Do not use the scale on Carpet or Rug.
3. Place the scale on NON-SKID hard, dry and smooth floor/surface.
4. Do not place the scale on wet surface. Personal Injury Risk!
5. Always put the scale on the exact same smooth and hard floor/surface to ensure accuracy of
analyser and weight readings. It will ensure the consistency and precise accuracy of the scale.
6. Be very careful!. The scale may tilt when you step on it. You should place your left foot or right
foot on the glass platform with an underneath bar supported section, at least with a distant of 1”
from the edge of the glass platform. Once the position is secured and safe, place the other foot
onto the glass section with the supporting bar underneath it..
7. For your safety. Please centre your body weight toward the mid section of the scale before
stepping on / off the scale. Otherwise, the scale may tilt. Personal Injury Risk!
8. Watch your steps and use extra care while using the scale..
9. Follow all label and marking instructions on your scale.
10. To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use the scale outdoors.
11. Do not use in area where dangerous items are stored.
12. Do not continue to use this scale if it appears to be malfunctioned.
13. Be very careful! Do you use the Body Weight Scale, if the (4) metal plates on top of the glass
platform are loose or not flatly attached onto the glass platform.
14. Do not use this scale if it appears to be uneven, or quaking, while you are on the scale.
15. Do not use this scale if cracks or chips appeared on the glass platform. Personal Injury Risk!
16. If unit is not working as it should, has been damaged, dropped, left out-door, or dropped into
water, bring it to a licensed electrician or shop for service and repair.
17. Do not disassemble the scale. There are no serviceable parts inside the scale.
18. Always bring the damaged appliance to a licensed electrician or shop for service or repair.
19. Never jump on, or jump off the scale. Personal Injury Risk!
20. Observe the battery precautions and battery disposal instructions listed in this manual
21. Do not remove the battery from the scale. Other than replacing the battery, or storing your scale
for a long time. The battery is small and they are extremely danger for children to swallow.

Note:
This Electronic Scale should be used in consistent manner for the precise reading of your
body weight. The readings may very between this scale and other methods of measurement.
The changing in body weight shown by this Electronic Scale will be reflected precisely.
Drinking coffee, beer, wine, alcohol, and taking diuretic medications or workouts. These all
affect your level of hydration and the accuracy of this Scale. Please wait a few hours before
taking a body weight reading
Place your unit on the same hard, dry and smooth and flat surface for better performance.

The proper way to stand on the scale:
Always stand still and do not move around while you
are standing on the glass platform of the scale.
Be very careful! When you are stepping on or off the
glass platform. Personal Injury Risk!
Do not stand on the edge of the glass platform.

How to measure your Body Weight:
1. Select (lb / in) or (kg / cm) or (st). The Switch is located at the bottom of the scale, on the
backside of the L.C.D. Display (see Fig. 1 – Item #7). (Example: turn switch to lb / in)
2. Place the scale on a smooth, firm, flat surface to achieve the precise accuracy (do not use the
scale on Carpet or Rug).
3. Turn-on the scale: Use foot to tap and press (with a little pressure) the center of the glass
platform to turn on the scale (See Fig. 3)

4. Remove foot from the glass platform, and within seconds the L.C.D. Display will change to
a zero reading -“ready to use mode”. (See Fig. 4)

5. Step onto the glass platform carefully and stand still to measure your body weight. Once the
“H” is appeared at the top left corner of the L.C.D. Display, the weighing of your body is
completed. (See Fig. 5)

6. PEB-3711 will shut off approx. in 10 seconds by itself after the weight reading is shown on
the screen (FINISH).

Precautions
1. OVERLOAD WARNING: remove the weight immediately when the scale displays “FFFF”.
Otherwise, permanent damage to the scale will occur.
2. This Electronic Body Weight Scale is made for normal home use only; it is not designed
for use in commercial or medical fields.
Battery Installation
See Fig. 1 – Item # 6 (Battery Chamber Cover)
The Electronic Scale uses 1 X 3-Volt Lithium (CR 2032) Cell.
1. Remove Battery chamber cover at the bottom of the scale (see Fig. 1 – Item #6) and then
insert 1 X 3-Volt Lithium Cell into battery snap. (Fig. 1 – Item #6)
2. The scale needs to be initialized before first use or after battery replacement: Press lightly on
the scale platform. The display will show “ 8888 “. Then the scale will automatically turn off.
Your scale is now ready for use.
3. Replace the battery when Low Battery Warning “Lo” is displayed.
4. Remove the cell if the product is to be stored for a long time.
Battery disposal:
DO NOT DISPOSE OF BATTERY IN FIRE. BATTERY MAY EPLODE OR LEAK”
Warning:
When trashing the battery - The battery
must be separated from the regular household trash.
Please consult with your local authorities for battery disposal instructions.
Battery – First-Aid:
Battery may leaks in extreme weather and conditions. If leaks get on skin and eyes, flush area
with cold water and seek medical attention immediately.

Errors Indicator:
As inner code is too low or too high by the reason that the load cell has been damaged, the
scale will displays ERR), ERR1
“FFFF” indicates overload at approx. 180.9 kgs (398.8 lbs).
Reset your Body Weight Scale (PEB-3711)
You can easily reset the scale by removing and re-inserting the battery (see Fig.1–Item # 6).
Important Note:
This is a high precision electronic Glass Scale. Please handle the unit with care. Do not
drop or throw the unit on floor.
The scale will shut off in 10 seconds after the reading of your weight is shown on the
screen automatically.
Low Battery Warning – when voltage of battery is down to approx. 2.5V, the “Lo” low
battery warning will come on. Replace battery.
Precision electronic product, please handle with care. Do not drop or immerse the scale
into water. Otherwise, it will damage the sensors and cause “Err”.
Do not put this product under direct sunlight, high temperature or high humidity areas.
After using the scale, do not place any items or objects on the scale for a long period of
time, as it will deplete the battery.
Clean after use with a damp cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaning agents or immerse
the unit into water. Do not let your Analyzer/Scale to turn into saturated with water as it
may damage the electronic components.
