ICE CRUSHER
nPrior to use, wash all parts that will be in contact with food.
nThe ice crusher should be placed on a level and non-
slippery surface, as the device vibrates while in operation.
nMake sure that the ice container is in place before operating
crusher.
nToprotect against electrical shock, do not put in water or
other liquid.
nOnly use the provided accessories for operation. We do not
accept any liability for damage caused by using improper
accessories.
nDo not use an extension cord with this unit. However, if one
is used, it must have a rating equal to or exceeding the
rating of this appliance.
nDo not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the
plug, not the cord. Do not handle plug or appliance with
wet hands.
nCheck the ice crushing chamber for presence of foreign
objects, make suretherearenothing inside the ice crushing
chamber before using.
nThis appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider
than the other). To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this
plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug
does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify
the plug in any way.
nThis unit is recommended for household, indoor use only.

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliance, safety precautions
should always be observed, including the following:
nRead all of the instructions before using appliance.
nMake sure that the supply voltage is the same as the
voltage marked on the ice crusher (see rating label).
nDo not leave appliance when plugged in.
nDo not use outdoors or on a wet surface.
nDo not allow to be used as a toy. Close attention is
necessary when used by or near children.
nUse only as described in this manual.
nUnplug from outlet when not in use, before cleaning
and before attaching or taking off parts.
nDo not use with damaged cordor plug. If the appliance
is not working properly, has been dropped, damaged,
left outdoors, or dropped into water, return it to Keystone
Manufacturing Company, Inc. for proper service,
replacement or repair immediately.
nDo not do the following: pull or carry by the cord, use
cord as a handle, close a door on cord or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not operate appliance
over cord. Keep cord away from heated surface. Do not
let cord hang over edge of the table or counter.
nDo not place the ice crusher on or near a hot gas or
electric burner or in a heated oven.
nNever place fingers or other utensils into feed or
discharge areas. And never place your finger or other
utensils into the ice crushing chamber.

BEFORE FIRST USE
1. Wash all parts in warm soapy water.
2. Read all instructions.
USING THE ICE CRUSHER
1. Place the unit on a dry, flat surface. Plug the unit in. (The blue
power indicator will illuminate. The light will stay on as long
as the unit is plugged in.)
2. Place the ice container (with lid on) under the ice chamber.
3. Check the ice crushing chamber for presence of foreign
objects, make sure there is nothing inside the ice crushing
chamber before using.
4. Turn on the motor and let it run for a few seconds.
5. Take off the protective lid.
6. Place an ice cube on the metal ice inlet door. Push up on the ice
inlet door lever until the ice cube falls into chamber.
7. Put the protective lid back into place and hold into position. Once,
the ice cube is crushed repeat, steps 4-5.
NOTE: Ice Crusher crushers 14 oz. of ice per minute.
8. When complete, pull out the ice container and remove lid to
retrieve ice.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
nUnplug the ice crusher beforecleaning it. Never immerse this
appliance into water or any other liquid.
nSimply wipe the ice crusher exterior with a damp cloth.
nWash ice container with lid and scoop with warmsoapy water.
Avoid the use of abrasives or steel wool.
nIf crushing flavored ice cubes, the crushing chamber can be
cleaned by crushing plain ice cubes, until clean. Do not attempt to
clean the ice chamber with hands. The ice chamber houses the
crushing blades. Use extreme caution.
nDo not disassemble the unit for cleaning purposes.
nAll parts should be thoroughly dried before storing away.
nCord storage is located beneath the base.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY
Your Deni Ice Crusher is warranted for one year from date of purchase or receipt
against all defects in material and workmanship. Should your appliance prove defective
within one year from date of purchase or receipt, return the unit, freight prepaid, along
with an explanation of the claim. If purchased in Canada, please send to: Keystone
Manufacturing Company,Inc., 151 Cushman Road, St. Catharines, Ontario L2M 6T4. If
purchased in the U.S.A. or other country,please send to: Keystone Manufacturing
Company, Inc. 33 Norris Street, Buffalo, NY 14207. (Please package your appliance
carefully in its original box and packing material to avoid damage in transit. Keystone is
not responsible for any damage caused to the appliance in return shipment.) Under this
warranty, Keystone Manufacturing Company, Inc. undertakes to repair or replace any
parts found to be defective.
This warranty is only valid if the appliance is used solely for household purposes in
accordance with the instructions. This warranty is invalid if the unit is connected to an
unsuitable electrical supply, or dismantled or interfered with in any way or damaged
through misuse.
We ask that you kindly fill in the details on your warranty card and return it within
one week from date of purchase or receipt.
This warranty gives you specific legal rights. You may also have other rights which
vary from state to state or province to province.
