Accessories
Using the headphones
These headphones are assembled with an Apple-compatible remote
microphone. You can answer acall, talk, and disconnect acall using
compatible devices You can also perform music control
Precautions on the use of headphones

Check the lefVright markings on the headphones, then insert them
so they fit snugly inside your ear, the one marked "R" in your right
ear, the one marked "L" in your left ear I~E).
Before using the headphones. be sure to read the attached
document "Precautions on the use of headphones

Pinch the tip of the ear piece then insert it into your
ear.
•The ear piece
swells to fit the shape of your ear
canal.
Pinch
the tip of the ear piece and attach it to the headphone's nozzle
while turning.

•Do not scratch the ear pieces with your nails, Doing so may cause
tears in
the surface of the ear piece.
•The ear pieces crush
when pinched, but return to their original size
after 15 to 30 seconds.
•
Do not let Foam type ear pieces get wet. Moisture will accelerate
their deterioration.
Putting on
Foam type: This material provides agood fit in the ear and is little
affected by surrounding noise

Regular type: This material is lillie affected by sweat or oil. Select
the ear piece that fits you best:

Safety precautions
• To prevent hearing damage, avoid using your headphones at such a
high volume that it irritates your
ears.
•Beforeturning on the power of aconnected device, turn the volume
all the way down. Asudden burst of loud sound could be harmful to
your
ears and cause hearing loss.

Do not use headphones while driving a' bicycle, motorcycle or.
automobile. Doing so could lead to an accident.

In the interest of safety, keep the volume of your headphones at a\
level
at which surrounding soundscan still be heard.

Do not put in water or get wet.

Do not place heavy objects on, heat. or pull on the headphones.~
Doing so may damage or deform them.',
•Store the ear pieces out of the reach of children to prevent small'
children from accidentally swallowing them.

Caution on handling
• Be sure to hold the plug when unplugging the cable.
• Do not pllce undue stre .. on the ceble, IS this cen result in wire
disconnection or
dlmlge. Observe the following for correct usage.
• Do not pull on the clble unduly.
• Do not pull too hard on the cord when attaching it to or removing
it from the included clip.
•
Do not fold the cable.
•
Do not allow aportable device to hang from the headphones.
•
Do not wrap the cable around the portable device.
•If you allow aportable device to hang from the headphones, it
may become disconnected and fall. Take care as DENON does not
guarantee portable devices.
•Metal parts will come
in contact with your skin. People with
allergies to metal should not use these headphones. If you feel that
the headphones irritate your skin, stop using them and contact a
physician or the sales outlet for advice.
•
Do not use benzene, thinners, or other organic solvents or
insecticides on the main unit since they may cause achange in
quality or color.
•Sound leaks out from the headphones when the volume
is too high,
which may annoy people around you. Please be considerate and
lowerthe volume.
Caution on the battery
• Be sure to turn this headphone's power switch off when replacing
the battery.
•
Use a RD3/AAA alkaline battery in this headphone. Using other
batteries may result in ashorter operating time.
•
The supplied battery is only for verifying operation.
•Insert the battery in the proper direction, following the $ and e
marks in the battery compartment.
•
To prevent damage or leakage of battery fluid:
• Do not attempt to charge dry battery.
• Do not short-circuit. disassemble. heat or dispose of battery in a
fire.
•Ifthe battery fluid
leaks, carefully wipe the fluid off the inside of the
battery compartment
and insert new battery.
•Remove the battery from this headphone if it will not
be used for
along time.
•Used battery

disposal.
