INITIAL PROGRAMMING INSTRUCTIONS FOR THE DS7060 PANEL
VERSION 1.05
NOTE: PLEASE ENSURE THAT THE KEYPAD ADDRESS JUMPER IS INSTALLED IN THE KEYPAD
PRIOR TO CONNECTION TO THE PANEL.
TYPICAL INSTALLATION
Entering programmer mode
• Enter the programmers code followed by # 0 - the default code is
9876
• Enter the program address - for example 01
• Press # to move the cursor to the address values (or * to clear
the address and start again)
• Enter your selected values - use the cursor keys to select the
correct digit
• Press # to save these values or * to start again
• Press * for 2 seconds to exit programmer mode
Note that numbers above 9 are hexadecimal. The HEX character
values are:
*0 = A *1 = B *2 = C *3 = D *4 = E *5 = F
Program Address 08 as : 802
PO1 = Burglar/Fire alarm
PO2 = Strobe
PO3 = Power reset for smoke detectors

This program is specifically for those who wish to utilize the personal dialing format.

Note: The program addresses that must be filled out are shown with above. When the panel is in alarm and has dialed the personal phone number, the user will hear
a number of beeps that indicates the zone number. One beep followed by another one indicates that zone one is violated. This sequence will be repeated until the user
responds by pressing either the 2,5,8 or 0 key for three seconds on the telephone handset during the three second pause between each sequence. Reporting: DS
recommends that only address 25 be enabled using the setting above. Other reports should be disabled by entering 00 in the appropriate address location.
