The new dLAN Wireless extender offers the advantages of both dLAN
and WLAN in a single device. With transfer rates of up to 85 Mbit/s
via dLAN and up to 54 Mbit/s via WLAN, the handy adapter enables
wireless surfing in every room of the house. The combination of the
two network technologies enables the dLAN Wireless extender to
create a complete network within your own four walls with no limits
caused by inaccessible places. Thanks to the 54 Mbit/s wireless
connection, the dLAN Wireless extender can reach even hidden-
away corners where cable networks come up against their physical
limits. And the dLAN Wireless extender uses the power circuit for
transmission where wireless networks previously failed – for example
for data transmission over several floors.
It is possible to change the location to a different floor or corner
of the house in seconds. All you need to do is remove the adapter
and plug it into another socket. Regardless of whether you use a
notebook, desktop PC or game console, access to the network or
internet is child's play. In this way, dLAN Wireless extender
combines two worlds of network technology.
The dLAN Wireless extender can be integrated simply by plugging it
into an existing dLAN network. As a bundle together with a dLAN
Highspeed adapter, it is also available as a practical Starter Kit.

The dLAN Wireless extender transmits data using
the existing 230V power circuit as well as via wire-
less LAN. With the dLAN Wireless extender, every
power socket becomes a WLAN connection – even
through thick concrete walls. Ideal if you want to
extend your Internet connection wirelessly, or
expand your home network. Several PCs and note-
books can access the network wirelessly at the
same time using dLAN Wireless extenders (used as
an access point). Similarly, the wireless connection
can be transmitted from one WLAN router using
the dLAN Wireless extender in the power circuit
(used as client bridging).
The exchange of data and surfing on the Internet
are possible with up to 85 Mbit/s via the power
circuit and with up to 54 Mbit/s via wireless LAN.
Ultimate security is provided through DESpro
encryption on the power circuit and WEP, WPA or
WPA2 encryption via WLAN. It couldn't be more
versatile or secure!
