Operating
Instructions
•
Push
the
handle
button
and
turn
the
handle
to
upper
or
lower
position.
Upper
pistol
for pin pointing long
range
objects,
lower lantern profile for
searching
around
•
Charge
the battery prior to initial
use
(see
CHARGINGTHE
BATTERY).
• Turn
the
lantern
ON
and
OFF
by
the
switch
on
the
main
body.
Charging
the
Battery
The
spotlight
must
be switched "OFF" whilst charging.
•
AC/DC
adaptor
charging
the
battery
Plug the
charger
into the wall outlet. Insert the charger plug into the DC jack of the
spotlight; Time required to fully
charge
the battery is approximately 20 hours.
•Car
plug
adaptor
charging
the
battery
Plug the included car plug adaptor into the cigarette lighter socket on your car (truck
or boat ),insert the adaptor plug into the DC jack of the spotlight. This method is
recommended for
emergencies
or for a quick charge only.This method should not
be
used
for long-term charging. Charge the spotlight for no longer than 2 hours.
CHANGING
THE
HALOGEN
BULB:
Replacement
bulb
type:H3
6V
35W
1.
Remove
the
reflector
assembly
by turning
the
head
cover
anticlockwise.
2. Lifeout the reflector assembly taking care not to pullon the wires.
3.
Remove
cable
tie.
4.
Slide
sleeve
downwards.
5. Slide
clear
plastic insulation
sleeve
downwards.
6.
Disconnect
spade
connector.
7. To remove the bulb,
squeeze
the wire clipand slide itout through it's slot. Note which
way
round
it
faces.
8.
Life
out
the
old
bulb.
9. Replace the bulb with a new H3 6V 35W halogen bulb.
Do not touch the
glass
with your
bare
hands
as
finger
grease
will
significantly reduce
the life of the bulb. In the
case
of inadvertent finger contact, simply clean the
glass
thoroughly with a cloth moistened with methylated spirit.
10.Re-connect
the
connector
with that of the
new
bulb
ensuring
the insulation fully
covers
the
connector.
11.Clip the spring wire
back
into
place.
12.Refit
the
reflector
assembly
ensuring
correct
alignment.

To
Replace
Fuse
in
the
Car
Adaptor
Current
Fuse
Rating:(2A/250V)
1
.Remove
the
car
adaptor
head
cover by turning the
outer
ring anti-clockwise.
2.Pick
out
the
fuse
from
fuse
holder
and
replace
a
new
one.
3.Refit
the
car
adaptor
cover
by turning
the
outer
ring clockwise.

1.Remove
the
lamp hood by turning it counter-clockwise.
2.Screw
off
the
battery
cover, pull
out
battery
and
it's terminals,
replace
the
6V 4AH
lead
acid
battery
with a
new
one.
3.Refit
the
battery cover,
and
head
cover.
Care
and
Cleaning
Warnings
• Lens
becomes
very hot during operation. This is designed for intermittent
use
only
Continuous
use
is specifically not
recommended
and
may
cause
damage
to
the
unit.
•
Never
block
lens
and
reflector during operation.
• Do not
shine
directly into
eyes.
•
Tc-reduce
the
risk
of
electric
shock,
unplug
the
unit
and
allow to
cool
before
attempting
any
cleaning
and
replacement.
• To avoid
the
risk of
damage,
replace the bulb,
fuse
and
battery with
same
rating
only.
Note:
•
The
female
connectors
must
be
connected
to
the
leads
of
the
battery correctly, red
wire to positive(+)
lead
and
black wire to negative(-) lead. REVERSE POLARITY
WILL
DAMAGE
THE
UNIT.
Important:
•Never leave the battery discharged, recharge battery immediately afterdischarging.
•
Recharge
battery
every
3
months
even
if
the
unit is not
used.
•
When
the
lead
acid battery supplied with
the
product
expires, it
should
be
removed
from the spotlight for recycling.

information.
