PIXIE TRIM SAW

INSTRUCTIONS
PIXIE TRIM SAW ATTACHMENT
e Pixie Trim Saw Attachment has three main components:
1. e blade together with its adaptor.
2. e table.
3. e blade guard.
e blade is held onto the adaptor between a xed ange
and a removable ange that is held against the blade by a socket
head cap-screw.
You can install a six inch diameter blade having either a 1/2
inch hole or a 5/8 inch hole by simply choosing which side of
the removable ange you place against the blade.
Once installed, the blade can be le in place on the adaptor
when the saw attachment is not in use; however it will need to
be stored carefully to avoid bending the blade.
Once the balde has been mounted on the adaptor you can
install your saw attachment in the following steps:
Hold the wheels of your Pixie from turning with your
le hand and unscrew the last wheel of your machine
(together with its adaptor) by using your right hand,
or if need be, by using a wrench. Turn counter clockwise
(as viewed from the right end) as these are normal right
hand threads.
Slidethe Pixiepan to the right aboutve inches(125mm).

read the blade and adaptor onto the end of the Pixie
sha. Hand tight is sucient.
Turn the table upside down and wet the sponges
thoroughly.
Slide the table into place from the front.
Lower the blade guard over the blade and into place at
the rear of the table. Tighten the thumb screw at the rear
of the table.
Place the geyser beneath the blade and sponges and
make sure there is plenty of water in the pan. You may
want to add Water Aid to the water at this point using six
drops per pint of water. is will improve the lubricity of
your coolant.
Your trim saw attachment is now ready for use.
Remember it is a TRIM Saw and is not intended for use
as a slab saw.

Note: If the blade guard does not line up parallel with the
blade this condition can be easily corrected by bending the
base of the blade guard by hand.
WARNING: Rusty blades can break and are dangerous.
Remove saw table aer use since the moist sponges will
cause rapid rusting of the blade.
