AVVERTENZE DI SICUREZZA
Alimentazione
• Non connettere l’alimentatore esterno ad altri diversi apparati;
• Non effettuare collegamenti con mani bagnate;
• Accertarsi prima dell’uso che i cavi non siano danneggiati;
• Evitare di far passare i cavi attraverso zone dove possa essere schiac-
ciato o danneggiato;
• In caso di mal funzionamento non aprire i dispositivi e contattare il
produttore e scollegare l’alimentatore dalla presa elettrica;
• Installare il dispositivo in impianti conformi alle norme vigenti;
• Tutti i DiCE SMART sono dotati di led integrati e non sostituibili;
• In caso di malfunzionamento dei led non aprire il dispositivo e con-
tattare il Servizio Clienti;
• Usare solo gli alimentatori in dotazione ed in caso di malfunziona-
mento contattare il Servizio Clienti.
Uso e manutenzione dei dispositivi
• Tenere i dispositivi lontani da fonti di calore (ad esempio da radiatori
o stufe);
• Non collocare i dispositivi su piani di appoggio inclinati o instabili;
• Non collocare i dispositivi su piani vibranti (ad esempio sopra una
lavatrice);
• Non esporre i dispositivi a materiali corrosivi, acqua, vapore, e non
tenerli in luoghi umidi;
• Non esporre i dispositivi al rischio di impatto o shock;
• In qualsiasi circostanza, non toccare i circuiti elettrici esposti. Il con-
tatto potrebbe provocare uno shock elettrico;

• L'utilizzo a scopo didattico e/o creativo deve avvenire sotto la su-
pervisione di un adulto.
• Prima di procedere con le operazioni di pulizia, scollegare il disposi-
tivo dalla presa di corrente. Per pulire l’esterno del prodotto, usare
un panno morbido e asciutto o leggermente inumidito. Evitare l’uso
di solventi e prodotti chimici, possono compromettere la qualità dei
componenti.

INSTALLAZIONE
• Assicurarsi di avere una rete Wi-Fi 2.4 GHz accessibile sia tramite il
dispositivo sia tramite smartphone;
• Collegare il cavo di alimentazione al dispositivo e all'alimentatore;
• Collegare l'alimentatore alla presa di corrente;
• Accedere all'app e seguire le indicazioni per associare e configurare
il dispositivo.
• Al fine di non interferire con il modulo gesture integrato, si consiglia
di lasciare un’area libera intorno al DiCE SMART di circa 10cm per
lato.
MOBILE APP
Scarica l’app ABnow accedendo agli stores Apple o Google Play oppure
scansiona il seguente QR code:
Importante: il dispositivo potrebbe non riconoscere SSID e password di
rete Wi-Fi che contengono caratteri speciali (es. %&!#_) o spazi. L’app
richiede una versione di sistema operativo Android 7 e superiori e una
versione di sistema operativo iOS 12 e superiori.
L’app è stata realizzata per guidare l’utente alla corretta configurazione
del sistema ed ottenere le informazioni sui propri consumi elettrici in
modo semplice ed intuitivo.

COME FUNZIONA
Il funzionamento del DiCE SMART si basa sull'uso di segnali luminosi e
cromatici (utilizzando tutta la gamma colori riproducibile dai led RGB)
in grado di essere letti dall'utente senza necessariamente interrogare il
dispositivo stesso.
FUNZIONI
Una volta configurato il sistema, saranno disponibili le seguenti funzioni
sul DiCE SMART:
• “Aurora” (Posizione di partenza): DiCE SMART si illuminerà creando
un effetto aurora boreale.
• “Atmosfera”: l’utente potrà impostare la propria atmosfera sul DiCE
SMART scegliendo, tramite gestures, colore ed intensità luminosa. Il
colore di partenza è bianco con luminosità massima.
• "Consumi": attraverso cambiamenti di colore ed intensità, il DiCE
SMART è in grado di segnalare i parametri raccolti dal sensore D·EN-
ERGY a cui è connesso, utilizzando una scala colori che va dal verde
al rosso lampeggiante. Di seguito un esempio basato su un contato-
re da 3kW. Per contratti con potenze maggiori, la scala cromatica si
adatta automaticamente.
NOTA: È possibile associare un solo D·ENERGY ad un DiCE SMART.

Importante: ogni allarme derivante dal sensore D·ENERGY ha priorità su
qualsiasi funzione visualizzata sul DiCE SMART. La durata dell’allarme è
pari a 60sec. Se il DiCE SMART è connesso alla rete Internet, l’allarme sarà
notificato anche sulla mobile app.
GESTURES
1. ONDA: è possibile sfogliare le funzioni attive senza toccare il
dispositivo, ma con un semplice movimento della mano. Ogni funzione
selezionata sarà introdotta da uno scenario luminoso della durata di 2
secondi.

2. VOLO: per scorrere e scegliere i colori. Questa gesture può essere
utilizzata solo in “Atmosfera” e in “Aurora plus”
i. Posizionare il palmo sopra il DiCE SMART ad una distanza
inferiore a 10cm circa e mantenere tale posizione per un paio di secondi
fino a che DiCE SMART non lampeggerà una volta.

ii. Dopo il lampeggio spostare in alto o in basso il palmo per
“scorrere” la scala cromatica.
iii. A colore selezionato fermare il palmo per un paio di secondi fino
a che un lampeggio non indicherà che il colore sia stato impostato.
3. ORBITA: per variare l’intensità luminosa. Ruotare le dita sopra DiCE
SMART in senso orario per aumentare la luminosità (max 100%) e in senso
antiorario per diminuirla (min 20%). Nota: Il valore minimo può differire in
base alla funzione mostrata.

RESET
È possibile effettuare un factory reset del DiCE SMART premendo 7 volte
il tasto posto sotto di esso (intervallando un impulso ogni secondo),
oppure agendo via mobile app. Premendo 3 volte il tasto (intervallando
un impulso ogni secondo), verranno cancellate le credenziali Wi-Fi.
AGGIORNAMENTO FIRMWARE
L’aggiornamento del firmware avviene in automatico e viene notificato
sul DiCE SMART da due led accesi fissi agli angoli di colore rosa. L’utente
verrà inoltre avvisato via mobile app. Durante la fase di aggiornamento, si
prega di non staccare l’alimentazione del DiCE SMART e di non scollegare
il proprio modem/router. Se l’aggiornamento firmware non andrà a
buon fine, verrà ripristinata in automatico la versione precedentemente
installata.

SMALTIMENTO
Il simbolo del cassonetto barrato, ove riportato sull’apparecchiatura
o sulla confezione, indica che il prodotto alla fine della propria vita
utile deve essere raccolto separatamente dagli altri rifiuti. Al termine
dell’utilizzo, l’utente dovrà farsi carico di conferire il prodotto ad un
idoneo centro di raccolta differenziata oppure di riconsegnarlo al
rivenditore all’atto dell’acquisto di un nuovo prodotto equivalente o
gratuitamente senza obbligo di acquisto per prodotti da smaltire con
dimensioni inferiori a 25cm. Uno smaltimento non adeguato comporta
effetti negativi sull’ambiente e sulla salute umana dovuti alla eventuale
presenza di sostanze pericolose e si è soggetti alle sanzioni previste.

EN SAFETY WARNINGS

• Do not connect the external power supply to other different devices;
• Do not make connections with wet hands;
• Make sure before use that cables are not damaged;
• Avoid running cables through areas where they can be crushed or
damaged;
• In case of malfunction, do not open the devices and contact the
manufacturer and disconnect the power supply from the electrical
outlet;
• Install the device in systems compliant with current regulations;
• All DiCE SMART are equipped with integrated and non-replaceable
LEDs;
• In the event of a malfunction of the LEDs, do not open the device
and contact the Customer Service;
• Use only the supplied power supplies and in the event of a malfunc-
tion, contact Customer Service.
Use and maintenance of the devices
• Keep the devices away from heat sources (for example from radiators
or stoves);
• Do not place the devices on inclined or unstable support surfaces;
• Do not place the devices on vibrating surfaces (for example on a
washing machine);
• Do not expose the devices to corrosive materials, water, steam, and
do not keep them in damp places;
• Do not expose the devices to the risk of impact or shock;

• Under any circumstances, do not touch the exposed electrical cir-
cuits. Contact could cause an electric shock;
• The use for educational and / or creative purposes must take place
under the supervision of an adult.
• Before proceeding with the cleaning operations, unplug the device
from the power outlet. To clean the exterior of the product, use a
soft, dry or slightly moistened cloth. Avoiding the use of solvents
and chemicals, they can compromise the quality of the components.

INSTALLATION
• Make sure you have a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network accessible both via the
device and via smartphone;
• Connect the power cable to the device and to the power supply;
• Connect the power supply to the power outlet;
• Access the app and follow the instructions to pair and configure the
device.
• In order not to interfere with the integrated gesture module, it is
recommended to leave a free area around the DiCE SMART of about
10cm per side.
MOBILE APP
Download the ABnow app from Apple Store or Google Play Store, or scan
the following QR code:
Important: the device may not recognize SSIDs and Wi-Fi network
passwords that contain special characters (e.g.% &! #_) or spaces. The app
requires a version of the Android 7 operating system and above and an
version of the iOS 12 operating system and above.
The app was designed to provide all the information in order to make the
best use of the DiCE SMART, listing all the usable functions and how to
add compatible devices to extend the system.

HOW IT WORKS
DiCE SMART operation is based on the use of luminous and chromatic
signals (using the entire range of colors reproducible by the RGB LEDs)
that can be read by the user without necessarily interrogating the device
itself.
FUNCTIONS
Once the system has been configured, the following functions will be
available on the DiCE SMART:
• “Aurora” (Starting position): DiCE SMART will light up creating an
aurora borealis effect.
• “Atmosfera”: the user can set his own atmosphere on the DiCE
SMART by choosing, through gestures, color and light intensity. The
starting color is white with maximum brightness.
• "Consumption": through changes in color and intensity, DiCE SMART
is able to signal the parameters collected by the D·ENERGY sensor
to which it is connected, using a color scale ranging from green to
flashing red. Below an example based on a 3kW meter. For contracts
with higher powers, the chromatic scale adapts automatically.
NOTE: Only one D·ENERGY can be associated with DiCE SMART.

Important: each alarm deriving from a D·ENERGY sensor has priority over
any function displayed on the DiCE SMART. The duration of the alarm is
equal to 60sec. If the DiCE SMART is connected to the Internet, the alarm
will also be notified on the mobile app.
GESTURES
1. ONDA: you can browse the active functions without touching the
device, but with a simple movement of the hand. Each selected function
will be introduced by a 2-second light scenario.
Aurora Atmosphere Additional Function
2. VOLO: to scroll and choose colors. This gesture can be used only in
"Atmosfera" and in "Aurora plus"
i. Place the palm over DiCE SMART at a distance of less than 10cm
and hold this position for a couple of seconds until DiCE SMART flashes
once.

ii. After the flashing, move your palm up or down to "scroll" the
color scale.
iii. On the selected color, stop the palm for a couple of seconds until
a flash indicates that the color has been set.
3. ORBITA: to vary the light intensity. Rotate your fingers over DiCE
SMART clockwise to increase the brightness (max 100%) and anticlockwise
to decrease it (min 20%). Note: The minimum value may differ depending
on the function shown

RESET
It is possible to perform a factory reset of the DiCE SMART by pressing the
button located under it 7 times (alternating one pulse every second), or by
acting via the mobile app. Pressing the button 3 times (with a pulse every
second), the Wi-Fi credentials will be canceled.
FIRMWARE UPDATE
The firmware update takes place automatically and is notified on the DiCE
SMART by two steadily lit LEDs at the pink corners. The user will also
be notified via mobile app. During the updating phase, please do not
disconnect the DiCE SMART power supply and do not disconnect your
modem / router. If the firmware update is not successful, the previously
installed version will be automatically restored.

DISPOSAL
The crossed-out wheeled bin symbol, where indicated on the
equipment or on the packaging, indicates that the product at the
end of its useful life must be collected separately from other waste.
At the end of the use, the user must take charge of delivering the product
to a suitable separate collection center or of returning it to the retailer
when purchasing a new equivalent product or free of charge without
obligation to purchase for products to be disposed of with dimensions
less than 25cm. Inadequate disposal has negative effects on the
environment and human health due to the possible presence of dangerous
substances and you are subject to the penalties provided for.
