Congratulations on the purchase of the Digital Juice Gear Speak
Easy Prompter. This is a must have for anyone doing interviews,
conference speeches, feature programs, micro film making or TV
show producing indoors or outdoors, anywhere you want. This item
is ideal for permanent setup in your studio
or for quick and easy assembly in your
mobile studio.
The connection plate attaches easily
to any professional tripod or C Stand.
The aluminum extrusion frame provides
balance when used with most small
to mid-sized cameras and includes a
camera height adjustor that attaches to the
Camera Slideway for your convenience.
The prompter’s high quality, 70/30 beam
splitter glass, frame, and hood come
partially assembled for your convenience and never needs to be
unassembled unless cleaning or part replacement is required.

Assembling the Digital Juice Speak Easy
Prompter:
a. Attach the Connection Plate (7) to your
tripod.
b. Connect the Tablet/Phone Holder Attachment
Plate (6) to the Connection Plate (7).
c. Connect the Tablet/Phone Holder (4) to the
Attachment Plate (6).
d. Attach the Preassembled Glass, Frame &
Hood (2) to the front of the Connection Plate
(7) using the provided screws (3).

• Text only visible on the talent side of the glass. The camera

Using the

e. Attach your camera to the Camera Slideway
(8) and then securely attach the Slideway
to the Connection Plate using the tightening
screw.
f. If your camera’s height needs to be
higher, use the provided Camera Height
Adjustor (9). To use, remove the Camera
Slideway (8) from the Connection Plate
(7). Remove the provided camera mount
screws from the Camera Slideway (8).
Place the desired screw in the Camera
Height Adjustor (9) and attach your camera.
Remove the screws from the bottom of the
Camera Height Adjustor (9). Slide screws
into Camera Slideway (8) and attach the
Camera Height Adjustor (9). Screws can be
tightened with a coin, Flat or Phillips head
screwdriver.
Go to the app store on the device you are going to be using with the Speak
Easy Prompter. Download your favorite Prompter app to the device you are
going to attach to the Tablet/Phone Holder. To attach your device to the
Tablet/Phone Holder,
pinch the two buttons
underneath the holder
to slide the bar out.
Place your device in
the holder and push
the bar back. To
secure your device,
slowly push the bar
back as far as it will go
until your device clicks
firmly into place. If the
device you are using is
a cell phone, place the cell phone adapter strip in the provided holes on the
Tablet/Phone Holder plate, then secure your device in place as mentioned
above. Once your device is attached securely, follow the directions on your
Prompter app to proceed with use.

Care should be taken when cleaning your Digital Juice Gear Speak Easy
Prompter. Cleaning beamsplitter glass is a simple process, which involves
Isopropyl alcohol (rubbing alcohol), which can be found just about
anywhere. The rubbing alcohol percentage varies from 60% to 75%. All
percentages will work. We DO NOT recommend using a glass cleaner,
especially ones with ammonia. When cleaning the glass, it is important to
use a soft cloth. Either
cheesecloth or a cloth
made from cotton
material will work. We
DO NOT recommend
using paper towel.
Additionally, you may
use optical lens wipes
to clean your glass.
If the glass is dusty,
not dirty, a can of
compressed air can
be use to clean it off.

Unless otherwise noted this warranty agreement is the only warranty
agreement between the parties. This agreement states the limits and
association of risk between the two parties. By use of the Product and
accessories the customer acknowledges understanding of this war-
ranty and agreement and binding to the terms contained within.
Return Policy
• 30-day money back excluding shipping.
• A receipt dated within 30 days of purchase.
• All returns must be new, unused, and contain all original packaging,
labels and accessories.
• The original product must be returned inside your shipping box.
• DJ suggests using a carrier that provides tracking and insurance.
DJ is not responsible for lost shipments.
Warranty
Digital Juice, Inc. warrants all Digital Juice products purchased new
by original owner to be free from defects in the material and workman-
ship under normal use for a period of 12 months from the date of
purchase. Warranty is void when misuse or neglect is the cause. THIS
WARRANTY IS VALID ONLY IN THE UNITED STATES AND CANADA.
Legal Indemnification
No other express warranty or guaranty, except as mentioned
above, given by any person or entity with respect to Digital Juice
products shall bind Digital Juice, Inc. This warranty supersedes all
other warranties expressed or implied. NO IMPLIED WARRANTIES,
INCLUDING ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR
FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE APPLY TO DIGITAL JUICE
PRODUCTS AND ARE HEREBY DISCLAIMED.
In the event of a possible warranty claim, the defective product must be
returned to Digital Juice, Inc (hereafter “Digital Juice”). If proven to be
defective upon inspection, it will be exchanged for a new or comparable
rebuilt product, as determined by Digital Juice and shipped back to
the original purchaser. All shipping costs are the responsibility of the
customer. Warranty replacement shall not extend the original warranty
period of the defective Digital Juice Product.
The customer’s remedies with respect to defective Digital Juice
Product and accessories shall be exclusively limited to the repair or
replacement remedy as above provided and in no event shall Digital
Juice be liable for loss of profits, revenues, savings, inconvenience,
associated costs, expense for equipment or service, use of capital,

facilities, services, storage charges, damage to property, or any
other special, incidental or consequential damages caused by the
use or misuse of, or inability to use, the Digital Juice Product or
accessories, regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is
based, and even if Digital Juice has been advised of such damages.
In no event shall recovery of any kind against Digital Juice be
greater in amount than the purchase price of the Digital Juice
product sold by Digital Juice and causing the alleged damage.
Without limiting the foregoing, the purchaser assumes all risk and
liability for loss, damage or injury to persons, animals or property
arising out of use or misuse of, or inability to use, the Digital Juice
Product and accessories. Digital Juice is not liable for third party
claims. This limited warranty shall not extend to anyone other than
the original purchaser of the Digital Juice product, or the person for
whom it was purchased as a gift, and states your exclusive remedy.
In no event shall Digital Juice be liable for incidental or consequential
damages to the full extent such may be disclaimed by law.

You may use a variety of apps with the Speak Easy Prompter. The
app you choose must have:
• Mirror Image Capability
• Fine Speed Control
• Ability to Import Scripts using Air Drop, Google Drive, or a
similar program.
Cost for apps with these capabilities will vary. Some free versions
include A Prompter for Android and iPrompt Pro (for older versions
of iOS) or Parrot Teleprompter (iOS). Other paid apps, that will
have more options, include Teleprompter Pro (Android) and iCue or
Teleprompter Premimum (iOS).
You may want to look for a teleprompter app that comes with or
has the ability to have a remote on your phone or other device via
WiFi or Bluetooth. The remote will allow you to work independently
in front of the Prompter while controlling speed, playback, fast
forward, rewind, pause and many other functions.
Digital Juice is not being compensated by any developer for men-
tioning their app. We suggest you choose that app that will best
meet your needs.
