USER’S GUIDE
Congratulations on your purchase of the Digital Juice Gear Slyder
PRO. It is a heavy-duty portable tracking solution that was
specifically designed to help you create smooth short-run camera

system. Its durable, attractive and highly versatile design will help
you to capture exactly the shot that you need, when you need it.
Your new Slyder PRO is a portable shooting platform that can be
used on many surfaces— including tabletops and tripods—to
create smooth camera movements known as dolly shots, on a
horizontal, angled or vertical axis. Thanks to the versatile design
of the Slyder PRO, it provides you with the flexibility you need to
capture an almost limitless variety of smooth tracking shots.

USER’S GUIDE
Once you remove the Slyder PRO from the deluxe carry bag, you will
undoubtedly appreciate that it is ready to use immediately, no assembly
required! We recommend that you first place the Slyder PRO on a flat sur-
face and take a look at the following information so that you may identify
each of its features for yourself.
(1) Carbon Fiber Rails: Durable and lightweight, allow for smooth move-
ment of the trolley.
(2) Mounting Plate/Trolley: Allows for a wide array of mounting options,
including optional accessories such as a High Hat, Ball Head, and
Articulating Arm. Smooth and stutter-free movement of the trolley is
accomplished through the use of high-performance U-Groove wheels
and bearings. The trolley also contains a built in leveling bubble for
achieving an accurate, leveled setup.
(3) Brake Knob: Allows for precise pressure adjustment for free move-
ment and weighted shots, as well as acting as a brake when fully
engaged for static shots. Simply turn clockwise to tighten the brake,
or counter-clockwise to release the brake to the desired pressure.
Note: Although it can be removed, there is no functional reason to fully
unthread the brake knob to achieve free movement of the trolley.
(4) Built-In Mounting Holes: The central mounting bracket along the
underside of the Slyder PRO contains multiple 3/8” and 1/4” mounting
holes for increased stability along a variety of vertical and horizontal
surfaces and angles, including use with tripods and C-Stands.
The end block mounting holes (5) are are perfect for even more stabilized
mounting on C-Stands using the Digital Juice Gear C-Stand Adapter.
(6) Bumpers: Prevent metal to metal contact when the trolley is in motion.
Please note: The bumpers are not intended as a shock absorber for
weighted shots.
(7) Adjustable Leveling Legs: The built in leveling legs can simply be set
up, by folding them outwards until they lock into place. You can also
adjust the height by screwing/ unscrewing the feet to reach the desired
height.

with stylish matte silver anodized end caps and an anodized body to give it
a long-lasting and smooth finish that is easy to maintain and clean.

• The Slyder Pro has approximately 4 in. of clearance when the legs are
extended perpendicular to a flat surface.
• Versatile mounting plate, allowing for easy & quick installation of a wide-
array of useful accessories (i.e. high-hat, ball head, quick release plate,
articulating arm) Not Included.
• Bubble Level helps ensure accuracy when it matters.
• The Slyder Pro has a 20lb weight limit when used manually. When used
with the optional Slyder Power Motor, the Slyder Pro has an 18.5 lb limit
(when placed on a level surface).
• Using the center cheese plate, The Slyder Pro can be mounted to a light
stand or C-Stand. For greater stability, we recommend mounting both
ends of the Slyder Pro to C-Stands using the Digital Juice Gear C-Stand
Adapter Kit.
• Precise ‘out-of-the-box’ * calibration. Your Slyder PRO is ready to capture
the perfect shot immediately!
Although your new Slyder PRO is calibrated prior to being shipped to you,
we recommend that you first test the movement of the trolley along the rails
to ensure smooth movement. You may need to loosen the brake knob first.
Your new Slyder PRO was specifically designed to be rugged and ready-to-
go, requiring minimal maintenance for proper and smooth performance every
time. The carbon fiber body is attractive, but simple and easy to clean. With
proper care and usage, your Slyder PRO should provide you with a lifetime of
trouble-free use:
• Clean carbon fiber rails with a damp or dry clean cloth to wipe off any
dust or debris that might have accumulated. If the rails are particularly
dirty, you may use a non-harsh / non- abrasive cleaner, making sure
to wipe all excess cleaner off of the rails to ensure continued smooth
movement of the trolley.
• The movement of the trolley is accomplished by precision sealed U-
Groove bearings; therefore the application of lubricants and/or sprays
is not recommended and may in fact hinder the proper movement and
performance of the trolley along the rails.

Maintenance
(continued)
• For increased protection, along with safe transport and storage, we
recommend using the deluxe carry bag designed specifically for your
new Slyder PRO.
• While transporting, storing or mounting a camera and/or accessory
to the Slyder PRO mounting plate, be sure to fully engage the brake to
prevent any unwanted movement.
Always remember that your Slyder PRO is a precision instrument. Any
rough handling or accidental bumps or drops could very well affect its
performance.
• Storing the unit in its carry case is highly recommended when not in
use.
• Be careful when setting up an unbalanced camera. Cameras with
heavy lenses or matte boxes may cause your camera setup to have a
front weight bias.
• A camera with a large battery source would have a rear weight bias.
The use of the built in leveling legs on the Slyder PRO can assist
greatly in creating stability for front- or rear-biased camera setups.
However, even when using the adjustable legs, you should remain
aware of the tipping point of your setup.
• Do not use any abrasive or acidic cleaning products on any part of
the Digital Juice Slyder PRO. A mild all-purpose cleaner is all that is
recommended.
There are no serviceable parts on the Slyder PRO. Please do not attempt to
disassemble for maintenance or repairs. If you’re experiencing trouble with
the unit, please contact the Digital Juice Customer Service Department by
