PriortoProductInstallation
 MakesurethattheproductpowerswitchisOFFpriortoinstallation.
 Stainless steel panel could be damaged during installation if beingknockedbytools.Protecttherangehoodwiththe
cardboardduringinstallation.
 Apoweroutletshouldbenotmorethan1500mmawayfromtherangehoodinstallationlocation.
 Thisrangehoodcanbeinstalledinductedorrecirculationmode.
 150mmand120mmductingadaptersaresupplied.Otherductingaccessoriesarenotprovidedbythemanufacturer. 
 Ductworkinstallationmustcomplywithlocalrequirementsandbuildingcodes.


InstallationLocation

Wheninstallingrangehood,theloweredgeoftheunitmusthaveaminimumof600mm(650mmforgascooker)distance
abovethecookingrange.Therecommendedpositionforthehoodis650mmabovethehotplates.












Note:
Therangehoodinstallationshallcomplywiththeminimumdistancementionedaboveorthedistancespecifiedinthegashob
instructionmanual,whicheverishigher.Anyinstallationabove750mmwillcompromisetherangehoodperformance.

DuctedMode:DuctworkInstallation

Ductworkshould beplanned carefullybefore drillingand cutting theduct.Manufacturersuggests 150mmductpipeforall
commonductingconfigurations,whichis,ductintoaceilingcavityorroofspace.Incasethisisincontradictionwithanylocal
requirementsandbuildingcodes,theinstallermustensurethattheproductinstallationandconnectioncomplieswiththelocal
andgeneralregulationinforce. 















Ø150mmductpipeisrecommended,however,areducerfromØ150mmtoØ120mmisprovidedshouldØ120mmbe
required.
Extrapipeand/orbendsmaybeneeded,dependingonthelengthrequiredandifthereisanystructureintherune.g.rafters.


RecirculationMode

Thisunitcanbeinstalledtooperateinrecirculationmodewhenductingisnotchosen.Ensurethatthetopductingoutletisnot
obstructed.Evenapartialobstructionwillrestricttherangehoodefficiency.Wheninstalledasrecirculationmode,recommend
addingcharcoalfilterstorangehoodtooperateinrecirculationmode.


Fittheductingadaptortotherangehoodbyusingtheshortscrewssupplied.
Provideanappropriateopeningatthecupboardunderside. 


Removethefrontpaneloftherangehoodbyundoingthetwovisiblescrewslocatedonbothside‐ends.Eightmountingholes
aroundtheunitthenareaccessible.

Lifttherangehoodandfitittothecupboardopeningmade.Securetheunitbyusinglongscrewssupplied.Afterthat,refitthe
frontpanel,thenfitthetwolights.





OperatingInstruction

ControlPanel

Light
ThelightingcanbeturnedON/OFFindependentlybypressingtheswitchbuttonwithoutrelyingontherangehoodfanstatus.


Fan
The fan is turned ON/OFF by pressing the fan switch button. The fan can run at three different speeds (Speed 1/ Speed 2
/Speed3).


CleaningandMaintenance

Caution:Priortocleaningormaintenance,alwaysdisconnectthepowersupply.
Donotuseasteamcleaner.

GeneralMaintenance
In order to have your range hood retain its new appearance; regular cleaning and care should be performed to protect the
stainlesssteelfinishes.
Never use gritty or abrasive sponges. Stainless steel cleaners and protectors are recommended. Stubborn stains can be
removed by soaking in hot water, standard stains can be removedbyapplyingacleanclothsoakedinsoapywaterbefore
spillagebecomescoldordriesup.Acidmaterialslikemilks,vinegar,citrusetccandamagethestainresistantsurfaces. 
Note:Useonlydampclothtocleanthestainlesssteelpanelwithprintedwordsandlabels.Stainlesssteelcleanersandsimilar
productsmayremovetheprint.  

Warning:abuild‐upofoilmayoccuriftherangehoodisnotcleanedregularly


FilterMaintenance
To maintain the range hood efficiency, filters should be cleaned regularly (approximately monthly), and washed using warm
soapywaterorinthedishwasher.

Note:  Framediscolourationmayoccurifthefilteriswashedinadishwasher.

Rangehoodsfittedwithcharcoalfiltersaredesignedtoremovegreaseandodoursfromcookingvapoursbeforethecleansed
airre‐enteringthe kitchen (rangehood inrecirculation mode).Charcoalfiltersshouldbereplacedeverytwotofourmonths
dependingonrangehoodusage.

Note: Fully saturated charcoal filters can become a barrier to air movement therefore limiting range hood performance

efficiency. In any event, grease laden filters could be flammableandcatchfireeasily.Therefore regular replacement is
recommended.Inductedinstallation,conventionalAluminiumfilterisrecommended.


ReplacementofGU10LEDlight
ToreplacetheLEDbulb,firstdisconnecttherangehoodfromthepowersupply.RemovetheGU10lampfromsocketin
anti‐clockwiserotation.Replacethe2WLEDbulbwithnewone.






