thecorrectmethodofinstallaonandpsforbestuseandmaintenanceofthe
product.
Thisapplianceisdesignedtobehandyforanyadulttouseathome.Donot
allowchildrentoplaywithit.Childrenneedtobesupervisedwhentheproduct
isinoperaonsothattheydonotgoneartherangehood.
Thisproductmustbeconnectedinaccordancewithcurrentelectrical
regulaons.Afixedwiringinstallaonistobedoneonlybyanauthorised
electrician.

Beforemaintenanceorcleaningoftheproduct,disconnecttheappliancefrom
themains.

originalspareparts.Repairsbyuntrainedpeoplemayleadtodamageandvoid
thewarranty.

Packagingclingfilm,polystyreneandplascwrappingsmustbekeptoutof
reachofbabiesandyoungchildrentoavoidsuffocaon.
Donotconnecttheapplianceifthereareobvioussignsof
transportaondamage.Ifthesupplycordisdamage,itmustbereplacedbythe
manufacturer,oritsserviceagentasmenonedinClause7(60335‐2‐31)
Ensurethelocaoninwhichthisapplianceisinstalledhasgood,permanent
venlaon.
Thedistancebetweenthebenchtoptothelowerpartofthehoodmustnotbe
atlessthan65cmanditisnotrecommendedtobemorethan75cmforopmal
operaon.
Donotleavelitgasburnersexposedduetoriskoffire.
Theexhaustfromthecanopyrangehoodmustnotbedischargedintoany
heangflue.
Thisproductmustnotbedisposedwiththedomescwaste.Ithastobe
disposedatanauthorisedbinforrecyclingtheappliances.

Theairmustnotbedischargedintoafluethatisusedforexhausngfumesfrom
appliancesburninggasorotherfuels.
Therangehoodisforhomeuseonly,notsuitableforbarbecue,roastshopand
othercommercialpurposes.
Therangehoodanditsfiltershouldbecleanedregularlyaccordingtothe
instrucons..
The manufacturer shall not be liable for any direct or indirect damage caused by faulty
installaon. The installer must ensure that the product installaon and
connecon complies with the local and general regulaon in force.

Installaon Instrucon
Mounttherangehoodtotheboompanelofakitchencabinet.Thelowerpartof
thehoodmustbelocatedataminimumheightof650mmaboveanycookerhob.
Therangehoodinstallaonshallcomplywith650mmorthedistancespecifiedin
thecookerhobinstruconmanual,whicheverishigher.Anyinstallaonabove
750mmwillcompromisetherangehoodperformance.
Whenthehoodisworkingatthesamemewithothernon‐electricalcooking
equipment,thenegavepressureoftheroommustnotexceed4Pa.
Therangehoodistobeinstalledhorizontallyandnotltedatoneside.

Installaon Steps
1.Removethemetalfilter.
2.Removethestainlesssteelframebyunfastening4pcsofM4*10screws.

3.UnfasteningST4*10oftheterminalbox,removethelidoftheterminalbox,
disconnectthecontrolboardwires.DisconnecttheLEDlightwires.
4.Fixtherangehoodtothecabinetcutoutbyusing12pcsofST4*18screws.

5.Putthestainlesssteelframebackintoplaceandfastenthe4pcsofM4*10
screwsremovedjustnow.
6.ReconnectthecontrolboardandLEDlightswiresintheterminalbox.Closethe
terminalboxlidandsecureitwiththeST4*10screw.

7.Putthemetalfilterbackintoplace.

Ducted mode (Vented mode)
Intheductedmode,airisdrawnintothehood.Oilistrappedinthealuminiumfilter
whileodours,fumesandcondensaonarethendirectedandventedtotheoutside.
Only the aluminium filters is to be installed in the ducted mode.
Ductworkshouldbeplannedcarefullybeforedrillingandcungtheduct.
Installermustensurethattheproductinstallaonandconneconcomplieswiththe
localandgeneralducngregulaoninforce.Flexibleductworkisrecommended.
Extendducttoitsfulllength,andposion,cutanddiscardanyexcess.

Note:Keepductasstraightaspossibleformaximumairflowandatleast
restricons,whileprovidingforeasymaintenance.
Ventedsystemmustbeterminatedtotheoutside.Ductworkcanextendeither
throughthewallortheroof.Donotterminatetheventsysteminanacorother
enclosedarea.
Thelengthoftheductworkandthenumberofelbowsshouldbekeptto
minimumtoprovideefficientperformance.Thesizeoftheductworkshouldbe
uniform.Donotinstalltwoelbowstogether.Useducttapetosealalljointsinthe
ductworksystem.Usecaulkingtosealexteriorwallorflooropeningaroundthecap.
Whenthehoodisworkingatthesamemewithothernon‐electricalcooking
equipment,thenegavepressureoftheroommustnotexceed4Pa.
Makesurethereisproperclearancewithinthewallorfloorforexhaustductbefore
makingcutouts.Donotcutajoistorstudunlessabsolutelynecessary.Ifajoistor
studistobecut,thenasupporngframehavetobeconstructed.
Connectthe150mmductpipefromthehoodbodytotherangehoodmotor.Fix
theductpipeinposionbyringclamps(notprovidedbymanufacturer)
Fixtheductpipeinposionbyringclamps(notprovidedbymanufacturer)
Make sure the charcoal filter is removed (if any).
Recirculaon mode
Intherecirculaonmode,airisdrawnintothehood.Oilistrappedinthealuminium
filterswhilecookingodoursisremovedbythecharcoalfilter.Purifiedairthenis
directedbacktothekitchen.
Inthismode,charcoal filter is strongly recommended to be fied to the
rangehood.

Electrical Connecon
Beforeconnecngtothemains,makesurethat:
Theelectricmeter,fuse,feedinglineandsocketareadequateto
withstandthemaximumloadrequired(refertoproductdatalabelforrated
power)
Thesupplysystemisregularlyearthed,accordingtotheregulaonsinforce.
Theisolaonswitchcaneasilybereachedaertherangehoodisinstalled.

Thehoodisequippedwitha3‐speedcontrolmotor.Electroniccontrolbuonsare
locatedatthefrontedgeofthehoodcanopy.
Toachievebeerresults,itisrecommendedtoswitchthehoodon3to5mins
beforecookingstarts.Likewise,letthehoodrunforafewminutesaer
cooking.
Light On / Off
Toturnthelighngsystemonandoff.
Fan at Low Speed
ToturntheextractormotorOnatlowspeed.Thismodeprovidesa
connuousandlowvolumeextraconinthepresenceoflightcooking
vapours.
Fan at Medium Speed
ToturntheextractormotorOnatmediumspeed.Suitableformost
operangcondions.Thismodeprovidestheopmumtreatedairflow
tonoiselevelrao.
Fan at High Speed
ToturntheextractormotorOnathighspeed.Suitableforeliminang
thehighlevelsofcookingvapoursandlongcookingperiod.
Power Off
ToturnextractormotorOff.

Cleaning & Maintenance
Cauon: Prior to cleaning or maintenance, always disconnect the power
supply.
Do not use a steam cleaner.
To ensure the range hood is funconing effecvely, regular maintenance is a must.
Surfaces :Cleanwithwarmsoapywaterandaso sponge.Neveruseabrasive
detergent,scouringpads,steelwoolorsolventsonanypartofthisapplianceasthis
willcauseirreparabledamage.Drytherangehoodbyusingacloththatdoesnotpro‐
ducefluff.
Metal Filter :Thiscouldbewashedinadishwasherwithsettemperaturebelow
60degreeC.Itisadvisabletostackthemvercallytoavoidfoodresiduesckingto
them.Orsoakthemetalfilterinadegreasingagentunlallgreaseisdissolved.Then
cleanitunderaflowingwatertap,andrinseitoff.
Note:Framediscolouraonmayoccurifthefilteriswashedinadishwasher.
Warning: a build‐up of oil may occur if the range hood is not cleaned regularly

Charcoal Filter :Charcoalfilterisnotwashable.Tochangethecharcoalfilter,first
removethemetalfilter,thenloosenandremovethecharcoalfilterasindicatedin
diagrambelow.Getapairofnewcharcoalfilterandghtenthemtofittotheside
ofextractormotorintheoppositedirecon.
LED replacement:Contactauthorisedsellerforreplacementpart.Removethemet‐
alfilterandpushtheLEDfrominsidethehoodbodytoremovetheLED.Disconnect
theLEDwiresandreplacetheconneconwithanewLED.PushtheLEDfromoutside
therangehoodbodytofixittothelamphole.
