!
Atención
Al instalar el equipo de aire acondicionado en el techo
se debe proteger la parte superior de la cabina con un
paño ó manta protectora para evitar posibles arañazos.
Al instalar Compact en el techo hay que tener en cuenta
que, normalmente, las cabinas que vienen provistas de
escotilla, tienen una estructura suciente para soportar
el peso del equipo. Sin embargo, cuando no ocurra así y
sea necesario realizar corte en el techo ó incluso si en el
caso de llevar escotilla el material no es lo sucientemente
resistente (caso de techo de bra, plástico, etc...) es el
instalador el que debe decidir, bajo su responsabilidad,
sobre la necesidad de reforzar el techo para evitar
posibles deformaciones, roturas, entradas de agua, etc...
habilitando los medios para que esto no ocurra.

Atención
Si durante el montaje el equipo se inclina ó se
abate la cabina con el equipo montado, se deberá
esperar un mínimo de 60 minutos, desde que
el quipo quede horizontal, antes de ponerlo en
marcha.

Recomendaciones
Para el montaje
• Antes de iniciar el montaje leer las instrucciones y
seguirlas durante el proceso de instalacion.
• Usar las herramientas adecuadas para cada
operación.
Electricidad
• Desconectar la llave de contacto.
• Desconectar la batería antes de empezar el
montaje.
• Asegurar el conexionado de los componentes
eléctricos, vericando su correcto encaje. Simbología

En vehículos que incorporen spoiler es necesario
desmontar éste y eliminar barra delantera (A)
antes de comenzar la instalación.
Desmontar escotilla y los elementos de jación
y entregar éstos al cliente. Atención: dejar
cubrecantos original (*).

EXTERIOR CABINA:
Posicionar el Slimt en el hueco de la escotilla
sobre cubrecantos original.
¡Atención! Al colocar el equipo sobre el
hueco escotilla, vericar que las salidas de
desagüe no queden obstruidas por la junta
EPDM.
Quitar (4) tornillos del frente y dejar éste sujeto
de los cables.
Roscar (4) hexágonos M8/125x37 con
arandela goma, arandela plana y apretar.

Colocar soportes de jación con arandela
plana, arandela grower y tornillo M8/125x40 sin
apretar.
Pegar en canalizador suplemento suministrado
cómo se muestra.
Roscar (4) hexágonos M4 L=13 cómo se indica
y volver a montar frente sobre éstos.

Colocar consola y mover equipo hasta coincidir
agujeros de la consola con los taladros originales
de la escotilla.
Retirar consola y apretar los tornillos M8
(125x40) hasta hacer tope.

Fijar consola con (4) tornillos allen 6/100x15
sobre taladros originales.

INSTRUCCIONES DETALLADAS SOBRE
CONEXIÓN CABLEADO ALIMENTACIÓN
En vehículos con toma de alimentación situado
en zona escotilla, conectar ésta con la clema de
alimentación del equipo y jar con soportes con
adhesivo y bridas.
En vehículos sin toma de alimentación original
situada en zona de escotilla.
Desmontar fusible de cableado suministrado
y desmontar tapa protección cableados parte
delantera del vehículo.

Desmontar embellecedor inferior lado pasajero
y pasar cable R del cableado alimentación hacia
el exterior.

Volver a montar fusible en cableado y jar con
(2) tornillos roscachapa 4,2x16 como se indica.
Conectar en toma de positivo original. Montar
tapón original.
Conectar cable negro a centro de masas.

Desmontar caja fusibles y embellecedor lateral
derecho (*).

pasar cableado hasta la parte superior.

Warning
When installing air conditioning equipment on roof, the
upper cabin part must be protected with a cloth or a
protective blanket to avoid possible scratches. When
installing Compact on roof, take into account that,
normally, cabins equipped with a hatch have a strong
enough structure to hold equipment weight. However, if it
is not the case and it is necessary to carry out a cut in the
roof or, although it has a hatch, the material is not resistant
enough (if roof is made of bre, plastic, etc...), it is the
installer who will have to decide, under his responsibility,
if it is necessary to reinforce the roof to avoid possible
deformations, breaks, water entries, etc., habilitating the
means required to stop it from occurring.
!
Warning
If the unit slants during assembly, wait for at
least 60 minutes with the unit in horizontal
position before starting it up.

• Disconnect battery before starting assembly.
• Make sure electric components are securely
connected, checking their correct tting.

If the vehicle is tted with a spoiler, take down
the spoiler and remove the front bar (A) before
starting installation.
Take down the hatch and the attachment
elements, and hand them over to the customer.
Caution: leave the original edgeband (*).

CABIN EXTERIOR:
Position the Compact in the hatch gap on the
original edgeband.
Caution! When positioning the unit above
the hatch gap, check that the wastewater
run-offs are not blocked by the EPDM seal.
Remove (4) screws from the front, leaving it
secured by the cables.
Screw on (4) M8/125x37 hexagons with a
rubber washer and a at washer and tighten.

Position the fastening mounts with a at washer,
grower washer and M8/125x40 screw, without
tightening.
Attach the supplied supplement in the duct unit,
as shown.
Screw on (4) M4 L=13 hexagons as indicated
and put the front back in place.

Position the console and move the unit until the
console holes are aligned with the original hatch
boreholes.
Remove the console and tighten the M8 (125x40)
screws as far as they will go.

Secure the console with (4) 6/100x15 Allen
screws on the original boreholes.

DETAILED INSTRUCTIONS ON CONNECTING
THE POWER SUPPLY CABLES
If the vehicle has a power connection in the
hatch area, connect this to the unit’s power
terminal and secure with the support pieces
using adhesive and anges.
In vehicles which do not have original power
connection in the hatch area.
Take down the supplied cabling fuse and remove
the cable protection cover at the front of the
vehicle.
