IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be
followed, including the following:
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING THIS APPLIANCE.
WARNING: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF FIRE,
ELECTRIC SHOCK OR INJURY:
• Fully assemble before operating.
• Operate cleaner only at voltage specied on data plate on back of cleaner.
• Do not use on wet surfaces. Do not expose to rain. Store indoors.
• Do not allow to be used as a toy. Not intended for use by children age 12 and under.
Close supervision is necessary when used near children. To avoid injury or damage,
keep children away from product, and do not allow children to place ngers or other
objects into any openings.
• Use only as described in this manual. Use only manufacturer’s recommended
attachments and products.
• Do not use with damaged cord or plug. If appliance is not working as it should, has
been dropped, damaged, left outdoors, or dropped into water, take it to a service
center prior to continuing use.
• Do not pull or carry by cord, use cord as a handle, close a door on cord, or pull cord
around sharp edges or corners. Do not place product on cord. Do not run appliance
over cord. Keep cord away from heated surfaces.
• Do not unplug by pulling on cord. To unplug, grasp the plug, not the cord.
• Do not leave appliance when plugged in. Unplug from outlet when not in use and
before cleaning or servicing.
• Do not handle plug or appliance with wet hands.
• Do not put any objects into openings. Do not use with any opening blocked; keep free
of dust, lint, hair, and anything that may reduce air ow.
• Keep hair, loose clothing, ngers and all parts of body away from openings and moving
parts.
• Turn off all controls before unplugging.
• Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
• Do not use to pick up ammable or combustible liquids, such as gasoline, or ne wood
sandings or use in areas where they may be present.
• Always turn off this appliance before connecting or disconnecting motorized nozzle.
• Unplug before connecting motorized carpet nozzle.
• Do not pick up anything that is burning or smoking, such as cigarettes, matches, or
hot ashes.
• Do not use without lters and/or dirt cup in place.
• Do not use outdoors.

Notice
A THERMAL PROTECTOR HAS BEEN DESIGNED INTO YOUR
CLEANER TO PROTECT IT FROM OVERHEATING. WHEN THE
THERMAL PROTECTOR ACTIVATES THE CLEANER WILL STOP
RUNNING.
If this happens proceed as follows:
1. Turn cleaner OFF and unplug it from the electrical outlet.
2. Empty dirt cup.
3. Inspect the nozzle opening, dirt cup inlet and lter. Clear obstructions if present.
4. When cleaner is unplugged and motor cools for 30 minutes, the thermal
protector will deactivate and cleaning may continue.
If the thermal protector continues to activate after following the above
steps, your cleaner needs servicing.
CAUTION: TO REDUCE THE RISK OF DAMAGE:
• Avoid picking up hard, sharp objects with this product, as they may cause damage.
• Store appropriately indoors in a dry place. Do not expose machine to freezing
temperatures.
• Put the product away after use to prevent tripping accidents.
• Do not allow power nozzle or powered stair tool with brushroll running to sit in one
location for an extended period of time, as damage to oor can result.
• When cleaning the car, vehicle should be located in a garage.

in your car. It swivels 180° for

LUBRICATION:
The motor and brushroll are equipped with bearings which contain lifetime
lubrication. The addition of lubricant could cause damage. Do not add
lubricant to motor or brushroll.

Easily clean cracks, crevices and tight places. Vacuum
and dust hard surfaces including shelving, fans, vents and
lighting.
CREVICE TOOL: easily cleans
cracks, crevices and tight places.
PIVOT EXTENSION TOOL: extend and pivot to clean hard-to-reach
areas, corners, crevices and more.
EXTENSION WAND: extend your reach for detailed cleaning in vents

STAIR, UPHOLSTERY
& CAR CLEANING
The tools make stair cleaning
easy. Use the Powered Stair and
Upholstery Tool for carpeted
stairs. It swivels 180° for
convenient cleaning. For hard
surfaced stairs use the crevice
tool or SWIPES hard floor tool.
Also, the tools work great for
cleaning your car.
HARD FLOOR CLEANING WITH SWIPES
Vac+Dust Floor Tool with SWIPES Washable Microfiber Dusting Pad
picks up dirt, dust, debris & pet hair. Works great on sealed hard floor
surfaces such as tile, wood, linoleum and others.
1. Place dusting pad onto one end
of the flexible dust head. Slide
other pocket of dusting pad
onto dust head starting at the
back.
2.SWIPES Microfiber dusting
pad picks up fine dirt, dust and
pet hair while the vacuum gets
larger debris.

Use extra care when cleaning on stairs. Do not place
cleaner on stairs or furniture, as it may result in injury or

1. Press the Dirt Cup Lid latch. 2.Ditch the dirt. Give it a shake to
remove any debris.
Any other servicing should be done by an authorized service representative. If appliance is not
working as it should, has been dropped, damaged, left outdoors or dropped into water, take it to a
service center prior to continuing use.
EMPTY THE DIRT CUP
3.Close the lid until the latch clicks.
This would be a good point to check the condition of your filter. Dirty? Check out page 14 for
cleaning steps.
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury - Unplug before
cleaning or servicing. Do not use vacuum without dirt
cup or filters in place.

CLEAN THE RINSABLE FILTER
WARNING
To reduce the risk of personal injury - Unplug before
cleaning or servicing.
2.Twist clockwise and pull the
Filter Frame out.
3.Rinse filter with water until the
dirt disappears. Shake it out
and then let it dry for 24 hours
or until completely dry.
4.Put the dry filter back in by
aligning the tabs and twist
counter-clockwise into place.

release button and rotate out.

2.Twist clockwise and pull the
Filter Frame out.
3.Pull out the red cyclone, wipe it
clean.
4.Line up the Cyclonic Filter
Assembly tab and push back
into place.
5.Put the filter back in by aligning
the tabs and twist counter-
clockwise into place.

Remove any hair and debris
from the brushroll.

TROUBLESHOOTING
