1. Power/ Alarm: Power indicator turns on when NVR turns on. Alarm indicator blinks
when the system alarm is detected.
2. Network : Network indicator turns on when NVR network access is connected.
3. Record : Rec indicator turns on when NVR is recording.
4. USB Port: USB2.0 port for connecting devices, such as USBmouseor USB flash drive.
5. CH1~CH8 : Indicators turn on when the video is connected to the system.

The rear panel connectors for 8CH PoE NVR are:

Connect up to 4 alarm inputs to the alarm input connectors. N.C or
N.O type alarm signal out.

RS485
Connect a Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera to the RS485 port.

Audio Out
Connect a speaker or other audio output device to the audio output
connectors.

Audio In
Connect the microphone or camera audio output to the audio input
connectors.

HDMI
Connect a HDMI monitor to the HDMI output connector.

VGA
Connect a VGA Monitor to the VGA output connector.

USB Port
USB 2.0 port for connecting devices, such as USB mouse or USB
flash drive.

WAN
Connect NVR to Internet via a RJ-45 network cable.

LAN 1-8
Connect IP camera to the same LAN as the NVR. Connect IP camera
to PoE (Power over Ethernet) ports.

Power
Plug the DV48V power source into the power socket.
3. 8CH H.265 PoE NVR HDD Installation
Follow the steps to install or replace the hard disk.
Step1. Loose the screws on the cover and side panel of the unit.
Step2. Use the HDD screws attached in the accessory pack to fix the 2 screws in the HDD.

Connect SATA & Power cables to Hard Disk. Place the HDD in accordance with the two
holes in the bottom. Put HDDs on right positions of the case.
Step3. Turn the device upside down and fix the four screws of HDD firmly.
Step4. Connect SATA & Power cables to Hard Disk. Put HDDs on right positions of the case.
