1. Introduction
1.1 Front Panel
The front panel includes:
1. Record : Rec indicator turns on when AHD/TVI DVR is recording.
2. Network : Network indicator turns on when AHD/TVI DVR network access is connected.
1. Power/ Alarm: Power indicator turns on when AHD/TVI DVR turns on. Alarm
indicator turns on when system alarm is detected.
4. USB Port: USB2.0 port for connecting devices, such as USB mouse or USB flash drive.

1.2Rear Panel
The back panel includes:

Connect NVR to Internet via a RJ-45 network cable.

Connect IP camera to the same LAN as the NVR.

Connect a speaker or other audio output device to the audio
output connectors.

Audio In
Connect the microphone or camera audio output to the audio
input connectors.

HDMI
Connect a HDMI monitor to the HDMI output connector.

VGA
Connect a VGA Monitor to the VGA output connector.

USB Port
USB 2.0 ports for connecting devices, such as USB mouse or USB
flash drive.

Alarm Out
N.C or N.O type alarm signal out.
9
Alarm In
Connect up to 16 alarm inputs to the alarm input connectors.

RS485
Connect a Pan/Tilt/Zoom camera to the RS485 port.

Power
Plug the DV48V power source into the power socket.

1.3. Packing Detail and Installation
1.3.1 Packing
16/32 CH H.265 NVR packing includes the below.
The package contains the following items:

Power cord x 1
SATA connection cable x 4
Hard drive mounting bracket x 4
Screws for mounting bracket x 10
Screws for mounting hard drive x 10
1.3.2 Hard Disk Installation
Follow the steps to install or replace the hard disk.
Step1. Take out the hard disk mounting bracket and hard disk screws from
the accessory pack.
Step2. Fix the harddisk on to the harddisk mounting bracket and fix the screws on to the
screw holes as indicated in the diagram. Each set of harddisk brackets can mount 2
harddisks.
