3. GENERAL FEATURES
World most silent speed dome camera
Equipped with silent and smooth timing belt and
special gear, low-noisy-technology enhances durable
quality of the camera by reducing the mechanical
vibration. This camera, both indoor and outdoor, is a
perfect match for demanding security and monitoring
burglars.
0.024º dome system accuracy with 1/8 micro step
With 0.024º technical accuracy, this camera provides
an excellent sensitive and delicate controlling on
preset mode by adapting 1/8 micro step and twin gear
system.
Reliable RAM-Material
The mechanical stabilization improves the durability
and long life-time of the camera by using reliable
materials especially, stepping motor, slip ring, timing
belt, and power condenser. The case of this camera
is made of fire resisting material with UL94V-0 grade. It
is useful for indoor environment concerning about fire
accidents.
Compensation function: preset position
The function provides absolute preset position even in
difficult applications where vibration and strong winds
may otherwise affect dome performance.
High quality Slip Ring for longer life-time
This unit has passed 20 million rotations test within 6
months.
Power misconnection protection on 485 terminals
This protection function prevents the communication
terminal from causing problem when power source is
inproperly connected to the RS-485 terminals. Hi-

5-1. CAMERA SETUP
1) To separate camera body
Loosen Lock Screw 0.07in (2mm) using wrench. (Don't pull out the screw) (FIG. 2)
Separate the upper body from the lower body by rotating counterclockwise. (FIG. 3, 4)
2) After separating, set DIP switches. (Refer to the page 32, 33, and 34)
3) To assemble camera body
Rotate the upper body clockwise to assemble both bodies (FIG. 5, 6)
Screw up the Lock Screw using wrench. (FIG. 7)
●Don't screw too tight.

5. INSTALLATION
5-4. CEILING MOUNT TYPE
1) When installing the camera, make sure to install it on a ceiling that is strong enough to
support its weight, approx. 4.41lb (2kg).
2) Make a hole, Ø 5.71in (Ø145mm), on the ceiling. (FIG. 9)
Hook the safety wire to suspension and to the safety wire hold on the bracket. (FIG. 10)
3) Install the ceiling mount bracket using 4 screws – Ø 0.16in (Ø4mm) tapping screws. (FIG. 11)
4) Fix wires using cable ties. (FIG. 12)
5) Make the wires go though the square hole.
Insert mount holder and twist the camera counterclockwise. (FIG. 13)
6) Fix the camera by screwing through Lock Holder1 and Holder2. (FIG. 14)
7) Install the cover by inserting cover lock and twisting clockwise. (FIG. 15)

5-5. EMBEDDED MOUNT TYPE
1) Prepare a Ø 7.48in (Ø190mm) hole in the ceiling board.
Fix the safety wire to a suspension to prevent camera from falling.
Other side of safety wire is fixed to the safety wire hole. (FIG. 16)
2) Fold the Lock Levers then insert the Bracket into the Ceiling Hole.
Fix the Bracket to the ceiling using screw driver. (FIG. 17)
3) Hereafter installation process is the same as the Ceiling Mount Type. (Refer to the page 10)

5-6. WALL MOUNT TYPE
1) If you want to install the speed dome on the concrete wall, you need to make
4 holes with 0.49in (12.5mm) diameter by drilling as in FIG. 30. (Depth 1.46in(37mm))
2) Install SET ANCHOR BOLT on the holes.
3) Fix SET ANCHOR BOLT of the bracket using nut.
ToinstallWallMountBracket.
Tip> Select a ceiling board strong enough to hold 4 times the total weight of camera.
(Weight combined camera: approx. 11lb(5kg))
4) Screw the Bracket tightly using the wrench(M4.0) after putting the rising into the hole. (FIG. 31)

5-7. CORNER MOUNT TYPE
1) First mark the position of holes placing the corner mount bracket.
Make Ø 0.49in (Ø12.5mm) 4 holes by drill. (Depth 1.46in (37mm))
2) Install SET ANCHOR BOLT on the holes.
3) Fix the wanted bracket (wall mount bracket, gooseneck mount bracket) on the corner
mount bracket with 4ea of M10 bolt before you Install the corner mount bracket.
4) Screw the set anchor bolt of the bracket using nut on the wall.

6. QUICK OPERATING KEYS
The dome supports Pelco-D/P and Maxpro protocols. For DiViS DVR products, please select DiViS-D
protocol for full compatibility. The dome may be used with any controllers or DVRs that support the
Pelco D and Pelco P protocols. The default setting of the dome is Pelco D / P (auto detection) with 2400
bps (baud rate).
[PELCO D/P PROTOCOLS]
The comprehensive set of features of the dome camera can be accessed with Pelco compatible
controllers via quick operation keys as defined below.
1~64 + preset and 100~200 + preset are used for normal user presets.
65-99 + preset buttons are reserved for special functions.
For example, to enter OSD MENU, press 95 + PRESET buttons

7. DIAGNOSTIC
Standard diagnostic will be performed automatically on every camera startup.
1. PAN ORIGIN TEST
Zero point of Pan is located during the Panning test.
2. TILT ORIGIN TEST
Zero point of Tilt is located during the Tilt test.
3. TX CONNECTION TEST
The camera checks the connection with external devices such as DVR or Controller for 60 seconds.
“Ok” message will appear if it passes the TX Connection Test.
* If "Not Tested" message is displayed, some possible causes are :
- No signal has been transmitted from the DVR or Controller.
- Wrong connection configuration such as protocol, baud rate, or RS-485 connection. Check
whether or not the camera is set up properly.
4. CAMERA COMM TEST
Camera communication is also checked.
OK should be displayed in these four tests before installation.
If the camera passes all the above Tests, “NOW EEPROM CHECKING” and “ALL DATA INITIALIZING”
messages will appear, and the camera should be ready to operate.

To enter OSD Menu, press 95+PRESET buttons.
●Tilt up and down to navigate the menu, and pan left and right to make selection.
8-2. DOME SET
To enter Dome setup, move the cursor over DOME SETUP and pan left/right.
1) DOME SET - CAMERA ID
To set a camera id, move the cursor over CAMERA ID and assign a name up to 16 characters
by panning left/right. Press ZOOM TELE button to move to the status cursor to the right or
ZOOM WIDE button to move to the left. (Spaces will be displayed as )

8. OSD MENU SETTING
2) DOME SET - RECOVER
This feature allows the dome to revert to a specific programmed action when the dome stays
inactive during the recover time. These actions may be auto scan, group tour, preset, and pattern.
The recover time can be programmed from 15 second to 90 seconds. The default setting is OFF.
3) DOME SET - MANUAL SPEED
Pan/Tilt speed can be configured manually from 100º/sec up to 200º /sec.
The default setting is 150º/sec
4) DOME SET - AUTO FLIP
Auto Flip feature can be turned on/off. Pan left/right to change the setting.
This feature can also be toggled by pressing 67 + PRESET buttons.
The default setting is OFF
5) DOME SET - ZOOM SPEED
Zoom speed can be set to FAST/SLOW mode. Pan left/right to change the setting.
The default setting is FAST
6) DOME SET - ALARM
Alarms can be enabled or disabled. Pan left/right to change the setting.
This feature can be toggled by pressing 97 + PRESET buttons.
The default setting is DISABLED
7) DOME SET - LANGUAGE
Different language can be selected (English, Italian, Polish). Pan left/right to change the setting.
The default setting is ENGLISH.
8) DOME SET - [NEXT PAGE]
8-a) DOME SET - [NEXT PAGE] - SYSTEM LOCK
Configurations for the dome camera can be password protected to prevent unauthorized changes.
In order to activate [PASSWORD] page, SYSTEM LOCK must be set to ON.
The default setting is OFF.

8. OSD MENU SETTING
8-b) DOME SET - [NEXT PAGE] – [PASSWORD]
To enter this page to set password, pan left/right
The password must be set using preset number between 1 to 255 (Default 99)
Enter any number between 1~255 on the password area and confirm it again. If the pasword has
been properly set, “CONFIRMED” message will be displayed, and it will return to the previous
menu automatically.
<CONFIRMED> <CANCELLED>
If PASSWORD and CONFIRM do not match, “CANCELLED” message will be displayed on the
screen when you press FOCUS FAR key, “CANCELLED” will be displayed on the monitor, and it
will return to the previous page automatically.
* After a password has been set, the operator must enter the correct password in order to access
OSD MAIN MENU or to change any configurations of the camera.
* Make sure to keep record of the password as it cannot be recovered.

This page displays System information of the camera.
- Protocol and baud rate reflect current dip switch settings. (Refer to page 32, 33, and 34)
- Firmware version and Upgraded Date will be updated automatically on firmware update.
