Safety Instructions

Introduction
Thank you for purchasing the DNM AS-04 unit. We hope that your
experience with the AS-04 will be enjoyable for many years to come.
The AS-04 is a wireless receiver with a built in amplifier capable
of wirelessly streaming music in high resolution. Simply connect the
AS-04 to your Wi-Fi network, download the free MUZO app for your
smartphone or tablet and you're good to start streaming music.
The only connection required between the AS-04 and your speakers
are good quality speaker wires. You can also stream via Bluetooth.
The AS-04 can be easily configured for multi-room audio system around
your home/commercial premises.

Initial System Setup

Connect a pair of speaker cables to the appropriate binding posts on the rear of the AS-04
Then connect the other ends to a pair of passive speakers. Ensure positive + and
negative – are matched with the AS-04 and speakers. (Speaker cables are not included
in the packaging.)
Locate the AC/DC power adapter and insert the end into the power input on the rear panel.
Then insert the mains plug into the adapter and connect the other end to a main socket.
Turn on the power switch at the socket and you should hear “Power on – WiFi mode” if the
AS-04 is connected properly to your amp/speakers.
Note:
1. If you’re not intending to connect the AS-04 directly to passive speakers, you can
connect a 3.5mm jack cable to the Line Out port and connect the other end to an amplifier
or active speakers. Then follow steps 2-4
2. Make Sure you are connected to 2.4G Wi-Fi as the AS-04 is only compatible with 2.4G Wi-Fi
Initial Setup Steps
1. Mode Button: Press to scroll between WiFi, Bluetooth and Line In mode
2. Pair Button: Press to make the AS-04 search for Bluetooth devices in
Bluetooth mode
3. Pre-set & Power Button: Long Press – Power on/off,
Short Press - Scroll between selected pre-sets
4. Volume Down: Press to decrease Volume
5. Volume Up: Press to increase Volume

App download
The MUZO player app (as per attached icon below picture 2 - name may vary) helps
you get setup for the first time, and helps get the most out of your AS-04's functions.
The app is compatible with iOS and Android smartphones, and can be downloaded
for free on Google Play or in the App Store.
1. Confirm that your Digital Device such as phone is connected to your Wi-Fi Router.
7. When you select your
Wi-Fi settings, you will
notice the DNM Audio
Streamer AS-04 in the
list of available devices.
2. Download
the free
MUZO Player
App on your
Digital Device.
3. Open the
MUZO Player App
and you will see
the above screen,
select Add Device.
4. This above will
then appear,
select MUZO
Cobblestone.
5. This above will appear
and you will be prompted
to go to your Wi-Fi
Settings.
6. Once you open you
Wi-Fi settings, you will see
that your device is
connected to Wi-Fi
(in this case DNM Enterprise).
8. Select the DNM Audio
Streamer AS-04 as shown
in picture.
9. Once more open the
MUZO Player App. A
screen as above will
appear, select Continue.
10. Reconnect your Digital
Device to your Wi-Fi Router
and insert the password if
required. Select Continue.

11. Your device will then
connect to your Wi-Fi
Router along with the
DNM Audio Streamer
AS-04.
12. The above will appear
on your Digital Device.
Select NEXT.
13. You now have the option
to rename the AS-04 from
the existing lists. You may
also customize.
14. We decided not to
rename. Going forward,
the next screen showed
up as per above. At this
stage if you need to add
more Streamers in the
network, then you may
click on the + sign available
on the top right corner of
the Screen. If there are no
more Devices then click on
the Back symbol.
15. Clicking on the Back
Symbol opens this screen
on your Device. Now Click
on Menu Bars available on
the top left hand side of
the Screen.
16. This new page will
appear on your Device.
If you have a paid
connection of Spotify
then select Spotify.
17. This is the next screen
that will open. Select
OPEN SPOTIFY.
18. This or similar page would
appear on your screen. You
should now select a song
to play.

19. Once a song is selected, play it.
You will notice the Devices Available
to play on at the bottom left corner
of your screen. Click on this icon.
Solo mode and Multi mode
2. To group speakers together, simply press
and hold one of the products within your
'Device List' and drag it on top of another
product.
3. When grouped together, the AS-04 will
respond by saying “group mode.” There
will also be a white line on the app to show
the connection of grouped products.
You can group up to a maximum of 16
AS-04 together.
4. If you change your mind and want to
ungroup products, simply perform the
reverse of this process to return to
solo mode.

on the output of your DNM Audio
Streamer within a few seconds.

Playing Music From A NAS
1. Transfer your music into your NAS such as the
WD My Cloud or similar.
2. Connect your NAS
to your Wi-Fi router
The NAS will be visible
in your MUZO player app
as Home Music Share.
3. Select Home Music share
The name of the NAS
would be displayed as
above
4. You will be displayed the
list of songs available for
playback. Select the song
that you need to play.
5. You can now play music
to the AS-04 from your NAS

Bluetooth mode
Line In mode
1. Select Bluetooth on your DNM Audio Streamer AS-04
directly from the top panel or via the MUZO Player App.
The Blue LED will flash on your AS-04.
2. Switch On the Bluetooth on your Digital Device.
3. The DNM Audio Streamer AS-04 will be displayed in
the list of devices that can be paired.
4. Pair the devices and play back your music.
1. Whilst the AS-04 is turned off, connect a 3.5mm jack cable to the 'Line in' port at the rear of the unit and the
other end of the cable to your source. This is to avoid speaker pop when the AS-04 is turned on.
2. Hold the power/pre-set button to turn on. If performed correctly, the AS-04 will respond by saying “Power on.”
The unit will then tell you what mode is currently activated. E.g Wi-Fi mode.
3. Press the mode button until the unit responds saying “Line In mode.” The mode light will also turn green.
4. You can now play music to the AS-04 via your source.

Additional Information
Troubleshooting
1. Factory Reset: Pressing the WPS button will make the AS-04 search for a Wi-Fi connection. However if you
HOLD the WPS for 5 seconds, the AS-04 will restore itself to factory settings.
2. Ethernet Connection: If you connect one end of an Ethernet cable to the LAN port of the AS-04 and the other
end to your router, the AS-04 will bypass the Wi-Fi setup phase on the MUZO player app. Open the MUZO player
and the AS-04 will be there on your 'Device List' page.
Possible Cause
- The power cable is loose. Readjust the cable
- Power switch is not turned on at the socket
- The speakers are disconnected
- Volume control is at lowest level
- The 3.5 mm jack is not inserted properly
- Speakers may have been disconnected from Wi- Fi/Bluetooth.
- The product may have entered overheat protection mode
- 3.5mm jack disconnected
- Audio source problem.
- Bad or incorrect speaker connections
- Wi-Fi speed
- Product too far away from router
- Ensure router is dual band, as AS-04 only connect with 2.4GHz
and NOT 5GHz
- Source is too far away from speaker
- Bad Bluetooth signal from source
