Safety precautions
ATTENTION
Please read this manual carefully before you start to operate the bank-
note counter
When operating with DoCash 900 series coin counters following safety
precautions should be observed:
Device automatically grounds when connected to the outlet 220 V.
Usage of outlets that do not meet requirements of euro-standard and
without ground connection is not allowed.
When operating with the device follow the service instruction for
electrical appliances with power supply up to 1000 V.
All installation works and any service and maintenance works
should be carried out only after disconnecting the device from the elec-
tric outlet.
ATTENTION
Voltage over 42V is potentially dangerous for the operator
If the counter has been transported and stored under low tempera-
ture conditions, it is required to maintain the counter at least two hours
under indoor temperature before switching it on.
To avoid break-off or damage of the cable, it is required to hold on
the power supply plug while putting it on and out from the outlet. Also
avoid such actions when your hands are wet - it may cause in electric
shock.
This Manual reflects relevant information at the time of publication and
may not include later alterations.

Terms Description
Feed disc By use of this gyration metal disc coins from hopper are
fed in counting mechanism.
Batching Chosen by user coins quantity that should be detached.
For example if the batch is 100, counter will count 100
coins and stop.
Batch size can be chosen manually from 1 to 9999 for
903 and from 1 to 99999 for 923.
Diameter and thick-
ness
Each denomination has its own diameter and thickness.
Denomination division in counting process is made by
dimensions.
Coin reject Coins that do not meet specified dimension parameters
go to the reject outlet.
Value counting Sorting by different denominations
Batching in bag Specified coin quantity goes to the coin bag.
Package Tubes (“cartridge cases”) – packing of coins in standard
paper tubes.
Memory data Counter saves data of counting results in memory. User
can look through or delete this data.

Design
DoCash 900 series coin counter s are designed on the differ ent con-
struction bases that is why design and position of different elements may
differ against model of the counter.
DoCash 923 coin counter additionally equipped by transportation
blocking device of coin feeding mechanism (disc), placed under the bot-
tom of the counter. Hopper for coins for DoCash 923 counter can be
placed right over coin feeding mechanism that enlarge hopper capacity
up to 2500 coins.

By pressing this key you can stop
counting at any moment.
COUNT/BATCH In counting mode without batching
– shows quantity of counted coins.

Preparation of the device for the operation
This section contents description of working modes of DoCash coin counters.
Counter switching on and off

Switching on For switching the counter on move the power supply
switch to ‘—’ position ON.
Display must turn on and show «0» (zero) after
self testing within several of seconds («zeros» will
«appear» sequentially on display segments).
Counter is ready for operation.
Switching off For switching the counter off move the power supply
switch to ‘O’ position OFF.

Counter control
Check before counting
Coin bag
Fasten the coin bag using the coin
holder. The bag must be fastened
reliably to prevent its falling under
the weight of counted coins. In case
of packing coins in paper tubes fas-
ten holder for tubes according to the
figure and bind it tightly.

In case you are using other coin trays
pay attention to their depth.
Fasten reject coin bag to the reject outlet. If you are counting mixed
coin denominations it is recommended to use big bag because all
coins that do not meet set parameters will be rejected. Reliably fasten
the bag using holder of reject coins bag.

Remote display
Coins thickness adjustment
Move the knob to position corresponding with required coin
thickness.
Use tuning table on the top of side cover (near the knob).
Coins diameter adjustment
Move the knob to position corresponding with required coin di-
ameter.
Use tuning table on the top of side cover (near the knob).
Remote display is optional accessory to the counter. It duplicates in-
formation of count display.
Connect display to the relevant plug on the rare side of the counter.
Place it in suitable field of view.
NOTE!
When counting mixed coin denominations it is optimally to start count-
ing with coins of the largest diameter.

Counting modes
Mode selection
For selection of counting mode or batch counting mode use the mode se-
lection key.
DoCash 903 In batching mode key indicator is not
alighted.
DoCash 923 In batching mode key indicator is
alighted.

NOTE
Coin counter can continuously operate not more than 1 hour.
Do not feed excessive quantity of coins.

Start counting
If you are counting coins of single denomination you have to:
1. Adjust diameter and thickness of coins.
Batching
In batching mode after reaching of set batching size counting will stop.
User can set the batching size from 1 to 9999 coins for 903 and from 1
to 99999 coins for 923 using keys on the control panel. Set batching
size will be shown on the batch display.
Different possibilities of operating in batching mode are realized in
DoCash 900 series coin counters. It is required to set batching size be-
fore counting.

NOTE
When counting mixed coin denominations it is optimally to start count-
ing with coins of the largest diameter
2. Put coins into the hopper and press a start key.
In case coins of other denominations are found they will be
rejected through the reject outlet.
3. After there are no coins registered by the counter during several
seconds the counter will automatically stop.
Before stop the counter makes additional gyration in the
opposite side.
By pressing [START/STOP] key you can stop counting at
any moment.

Batch selection
For batch selection it is required to enter the batching mode.
DoCash 903 coin counter has one memory slot of batch size. Value
in this slot user changes with pitches 1, 10, 100 or 1000 coins.
In DoCash 923 ther e are following step keys +1, +10, +100 and
+1000 coins for setting user’s size.
Using following keys [+1000], [+100], [+10] и[+1], set
required batch size. For example, to set batch in 1000
coins, press [+1000] key.
Batching size will be displayed on the batch display to the
right from P symbol:
P 1000
You can reset the batch if required. To do this press
[CLEAR] key and [+1] key simultaneously.

For setting user’s batch size:
Batch counting
After the batch size is set feed coins and press start key.
After reaching of set batching size counting will stop.
DoCash 903
P symbol will start blinking after the batch size is reached.
DoCash 923
Bag filling indicator (over the +1000 key) is alighted while batch counting
in process. After the batch size is reached indicator will go out.
To begin counting of next batch press start key.

While holding «Batch» key set required batch size by
using 4 step keys +1, +10, +100 and +1000 .
Value of the user’s batch size will be saved.

To start batching make sure that bag fill-
ing indicator (over the +1000 key) is not
alighted. If this indicator is alighted it
means that previous batching was not fin-
ished. To reset data press +1 key while
holding +1000 key. Bag filling indicator
should go out.

ADD counting
DoCash 903 counter has automatic ADD counting mode. In this mode
quantity of counted coins will sum up and result of each current lot will be
added to previous cumulative result.
DoCash 923 counter enables to use ADD counting mode manually that
is data saving is realized after pressing the relevant key:
Press [ADD/STORE] key. Indicator of this key will
light up.
Remember that results sum up by quantity not by
denominations.
To leave ADD counting mode press [ADD/STORE]
key. Indicator of this key will go out.
In ADD counting mode the rest counting proce-
dure remains the same. This mode can be combined
both with simple counting mode and with batch count-
ing mode.
If you need to save current counting results in
memory press +100 key. Value on the display will
be saved in memory and cleared.

Memory data reading
DoCash 903 counter saves data in memor y automatically.
DoCash 923 counter enables to r ead data saved in memory.
You can review data by pressing RD key.
In ADD counting mode after pressing RD key last lot of
coins counting result will be shown on the display.
In other modes after pressing RD key coin counting result
(since switching counter on) will be shown on the display.
To read current result of unfinished lot in batch
counting mode press +1000 key.
To review data saved in memory press +10 key.

To reset all data in memory press and hold for 1 sec-
ond +1 and +10 keys simultaneously.

Error messages
During counting process errors may occur. If any error has occurred
counter will automatically stop and show error code on the display.
