General information Doggyride Original and Extraluxe
Take your dog with you on bicycle rides. It’s fun!
Your dog doesn’t like it to be left alone at home and traveling by bike is so much more fun than by car.
Join on a daily outdoors biking trip, going to the beach or to the city in the DoggyRide. This bicycle
trailer has been developed for the pleasure of the dog and the convenience of the owner. A win-win
situation. Now your dog can join you on a cycling vacation.
We know you love your dog and that’s why we have developed it with care and made it by using the
highest quality materials. Besides, the DoggyRide offers versatility. The trailer can be converted to
stroller/jogger with the stroller kit in case walking isn’t that easy anymore for your dog. The eXtraLuxe
version can also be used as a foldable crate as a dog house while camping or for training.

User manual Doggyride, the Original
1. Assembly manual Doggyride, the Original
xThe trailer is already partially assembled inside the carton.
xTake the DoggyRide out of the carton and unfold it. By opening the back side and top part you can put
the cross bar in the right position to keep the sides up. Connect the cross bar with a safety pin.
xThe wheels and tow bar are more easily assembled when the trailer is up-side down.
xRemove the safety pin from the tow bar and turn it 180 degrees so that the tow bar points forward. Firm
the tow bar with the same safety pin.
xNow you can connect the wheels. First take the axles from the small carton and put them through the
wheel opening so that the riding direction of the tire points forward. The riding direction is a V pointing
as a > sign. The axle is put into the wheel with waved washers around the hub and a regular washer in
the end. Fasten the bolt by hand, then put the axle into the axle holder and firm it with the safety pin.
Now firm the bolt using the tool inside the small carton.
xNow you put the trailer back in normal position.
xNow you can connect the trailer to the bicycle. Please make sure you connect the safety strap around
the frame part of the bicycle!

The hitch
A. Hitch part for rear axle
B. Hitch part on tow bar
C. Safety pin
Picture 2
Remove the bicycle part of the hitch (A) from the tow
bar. In case you have a quick release wheel, take the
pen complete out of the axle and put it through the hitch
part(A). In case you have the rear axle bolted, release
this bolt and connect it together with the hitch part (A).
This part stays permanently on your bicycle.
Picture 3
Take the trailer and put the tow bar hitch part (B) into
the hitch part on the axle (A) and connect the safety pin
(C).
Important: The connection to the bicycle is the most
important part of the assembly and use of the bicycle
trailer. Please do this carefully.
Picture 4
As soon as the trailer is connected to the bicycle wrap
the safety strap around the bicycle frame, so that in
case the trailer lets loose from the hitch it still is
connected to the bicycle.

1. Assembly manual Doggyride Extraluxe
xThe trailer is already partially assembled inside the carton.
xTake the DoggyRide out of the carton and unfold it. By opening the back side and top part you can put
the cross bar in the right position to keep the sides up. Connect the cross bar with a safety pin.
xPlace the wheels by pressing the quick release button on the centre of the wheel and placing the wheels
into the axle holder. Ensure the riding direction on the tires to make sure the two wheels are put on the
right side (it is necessary to put the right wheel on the right side). The riding direction is a V pointing as a
> sign.
xPlace the tow bar in the tube positioned at the side and front of the frame and secure it with the
enclosed quick locking screw or the M6 bolt and nut. Using the bolt and nut makes the connection more
permanent.
xNow you can connect the trailer to the bicycle. Please make sure you connect the safety strap around
the frame part of the bicycle!
2. Connecting the Doggyride Extraluxe
Picture 1
Read the LockIt-Go® manual for
connection of the lock hitch to the bicycle.
Picture 2
Open the LockIt-Go hitch by turning the key counter
clockwise. Place the tow bar in the Hitch and close the
hitch by turning the key clockwise. Remove the key and
close the cap to prevent water or dirt fouling the lock.
Picture 3
As soon as the trailer is connected to the bicycle, wrap
the safety strap around the bicycle frame. So in case the
trailer lets loose from the hitch it will still be connected to
the bicycle.
Important: The connection to the bicycle is the most
important part of the assembly and use of the bicycle
trailer. Please do this carefully.

3. Using the DoggyRide ExtraLuxe kickstand
Turn the kickstand to its maximum position forward. Secure the stand by locking the safety cord onto
the frame using the lockpin.
4. DoggyRide ExtrLuxe as Foldable Crate
The DoggyRide® can also be used as a foldable crate for training
purposes. In order to do so remove the wheels using the quick
release and slide them out of the axle holder. Remove the tow bar by
unscrewing the Quick release screw or bolt and slide it out of the
tube. The cabin stands on the four stands freely and securely.
