Precautions before Use
Thank you for purchasing Happyloo, a flush-type automatic defecation board.
We recommend that you read the User Manual carefully, and keep the Use
Manual so that you can find it at any time.
Be sure to use a verified outlet and a dedicated power cable.
· Using multiple products in one outlet at the same time may cause fire.
· As the earth leakage breaker comes down, a power failure of the TV may occur.
Be careful not to push the power plug upward or press it.
· There is a risk of fire or electric shock due to water leakage or damage to the plug.
· Plugs with a grounding terminal must be installed in a grounding outlet.
Precautions When Operating the Power Plug or Button
· Never touch the power plug with wet hands. It is the cause of electric shock.
· Do not use damaged power cords, plugs, or loose outlets.
· Make sure that there are no foreign substances such as dust or water in the
contact area of the power plug or button.
Precautions When Using Happyloo Direct Type
· Never disassemble, repair, or modify the main body at your discretion.
· For direct connection type, please follow the instructions of an expert,
and if you install it yourself, please connect it with a depth of 10mm or
more to the fitting for the water purifier to prevent water accidents.
· For direct connection, it is recommended to install it in a toilet or veranda
with a sewer.
· If the pump does not sound the first time after assembly, unplug the
discharge hose connection and reconnect after the air is exhausted.
· Please refer to the YouTube search word 'How to Install Dogtoto' when
connecting the Happyloo Super direct type to the water supply.

<Understanding the Defecation Board>
· Please note that the circular whitening on the Board is not a defect, but is inevitable
outcome caused by the injection pressure due to the deep and many supports.
This occurs when the color is dark.
· Do not remove the rib at the corner of the defecation board as it is a support for the
mesh plate.
· Use the extra rubber feet to align it as horizontally as possible, and the slight wobble
or twist will return to normal by gravity after time.
<Product Features>
· This is a flush-type automatic defecation board for medium and large dogs.
· It is detected when the dog urinates and automatically cleaned after 2 minutes.
· It is a pleasant eco-friendly system with no odor and no waste.
· There is no movement, so the dog can use it easily and comfortably.
· The water filling amount is 10L, and it can be used 10 times, 1L each time.
· It is convenient to clean up with a simple defecation board separation within
10 seconds.
· There is an option for a 26cm tall male stand that can be used by large dogs.
· This is a trouble-free infrared transmission/reception, electronic spider web sensor.
· When the sensor jack is plugged in, if blue light is on, it is in standby (ready) state.
· When the washing water quantity increase switch is turned on, the amount of washing
water increases to 1.5L each time.
· In the case of a direct type Super, if it is turned on, it is sufficiently washed twice
every 1500cc.
· There is a red one-touch power button 'on the right side of the Side'.
· There is a black manual wash button 'on the left side of the Side'.
· It is a safe system without electric shock with 12V power.

* Since it is plastic, when screwing in the screw, press it down slightly and do not tighten it too forcibly.
Align the direction of the nozzle
and insert it into the upper part of
the defecation board.
Fix the fixing rod hook in the same
direction with screws.

Tighten the nozzle by turning
the screw from the bottom.
Connect a short transparent
hose through the hook and plug it

Make sure the sensor line passes
in the upper left corner.

Insert the fitting deeply into
the 2 inlets.
Pass the transparent hose and
sensor line through the hook.
When the screw is tightened,
the transmitter LED enters
the upper hole.
Place the stainless strainer in
the circular collecting channel.

<Operation Test>
· When testing after assembly, check the operation by touching the manual wash button.
· In case of water leakage or an emergency, quickly turn it off by pressing the power button.
· When water is sprayed on the defecation board, turn the nozzle by hand to adjust the
spray angle.
· When the sensor is activated, the green light flashes and water is sprayed after 2 minutes.
· When the washing water quantity increase switch is turned on, the spraying quantity
increases from 1,000cc to 1,500cc.
· In the case of direct type, when the increase switch is turned on, the spraying quantity is
increased two folds from 1,500 cc to 3,000 cc.
· It is normal for water to accumulate in the collecting channel and it serves as a sewer odor
backflow prevention trap.
· If the blue light is not turned-on after plugging in the sensor jack, press the power button to
reset again.
· The defecation board and main body work normally when it is horizontal, so if the floor is
sloped, use the rubber plate to level it

Lift the main body and place it

- Stop for 3 seconds, then auto wash for 2nd time.

<About the Sensor>
· The sensor consists of an infrared transmitter protruding from the defecation board and
a receiver (black) on the body side.
· When infrared rays are transmitted and received every 0.5 seconds, it is in a normal
standby state and blue light is on. If there is an infrared light jam in the middle, the green
light blinks and water is sprayed after 2 minutes. Check that foreign objects do not cover
the front of the receiver.
· If the sensor jack is poor in contact or transmission/reception is bad, the green light turns
on and it operates continuously, so temporarily unplug the jack and manually press the
button to use.
· Please note that the sensor may be operated by sunlight, remote control, or strong light.
· Make the eaves by applying wide tape on the top to prevent water from flowing into the sensor jack.
· The sensor jack is sensitive, so if there is moisture or water, wipe it dry before inserting it.
· The male stand is a material through which infrared rays pass. If there is any foreign
substance on the front of the receiver, wipe it clean.

<Precautions for Happyloo>
· When refilling the main body with water, empty the waste water container completely so t
hat it does not overflow.
· When the end of the discharge hose touches the sewage, the water flows back, so shorten
the length from the lid.
· Put a sticker for eaves on the top to prevent water from flowing into the button and sensor jack.
· Do not bend or fold the discharge hose, and beware of freezing in winter on the veranda.
· There are a lot of urinary stones, so clean the parts under the main body with a wet
tissue once a month.
· In case of a water container type other than a direct type, extending the discharge hose
may cause malfunction. If you want to extend the hose, place the end of the discharge
hose higher than the defecation board.
· If the main body overflows, it may cause malfunction. When replenishing water, fill it up to
just below the MAX so that it does not overflow to the side. This is because there is a
hole inside the cover through which the hose passes.
<Knowing Happyloo – Checking>
1. Before assembling the main body, use the rubber feet to properly level the defecation board.
2. When connecting the transparent inlet pipe to the gray silicone, insert only about 1cm.
3. When refilling the main body with water, empty the waste water container completely so
that it does not overflow.
4. The blue light is ready for automatic cleaning. When the sensor is detected, the green
light flashes and water is sprayed after 2 minutes.
5. Extend the discharge hose and, when the pump sound is loud during the initial operation,
and it spins, pull out the hose connection for a while and then plug it in again after the air
is exhausted. In the case of a water container type, place the end of the discharge hose at
a higher position than the defecation board.
6. When reducing the amount of washing water, turn the water quantity increase switch on
the back to OFF.
7. Attach the tape for eaves on the top to prevent water from flowing into the sensor jack.
8. If the water does not stop flowing from the nozzle of the defecation board, open the black
cover inside the water container and remove the debris from the air hole in the upper part
of the hose after operation.
9. When resetting, touch the power button or unplug the power jack and plug it back in.
10. When training the defecation, attach the mesh plate with tape to fix it.
11. When training the defecation, unplug the sensor jack and press the wash button to use.

It's an automatic defecation board, but why isn't the feces treated
automatically?
A: Insofar as the defecation treating machine is concerned, dogs are instinctively
reluctant to move for some reason. It's a completely different dimension from cats,
and it's best to treat urine only for dogs who are quick to notice because of their
fearful habit of defecating only in comfortable places. So, if there is a moving urine
and feces treating machine, even if a dog is trained right now, the dog won't be using
it soon. The defecation treating problem should be treated only with urine according
to the height of the dog's eyes.
Is it possible to train a dog who has continued to use the pads?
A: Dogs who have been using the pads for a long time will not be able to adapt to the
defecation board immediately. The first training method is to first place a defecation
board in the corner of the house and place a delicious snack in the inner corner for dogs
to step on the mesh and play. Then, secondly, cut the pad into ½ to ¼ and put a little
urine and put it on the mesh to facilitate training.
What to do with urine on the mesh?
A: If you spray an automatic spray to clean the urine from the mesh, if there are feces
on the mesh, water will get on the feces, causing a bigger problem. Happyloo
handles a large amount of urine, about 30~100cc, which falls under the mesh. Urine
on the mesh is only a few drops of about 0.3 ~ 0.8cc, so it dries out within 5 minutes.
It really doesn't matter much to you.
Urine smell is terrible, so why don't we take care of it right away and
do automatic cleaning after 2 minutes?
A: When a dog defecates, it urinates first, comes down, moves back and forth, and
begins to defecate again after about a minute. Wash with water slowly after 2
minutes, taking into account when it defecates.
Isn’t the dog afraid of the sound of water from washing?
A: Dogs aren't scared because they usually hear the sound of sink water and toilet
water. However, they may be a little curious for a few days after purchase.

I seek a happy companionship with my dog!
Where is the wisest choice to place the defecation board?
A: Placing it in the current place of defecating is the surest way to do it. However, if the
location is changed, it can be confusing at first, so when the dog tries to urinate for
about a week, you should quickly notify the changed location. And when the dog does
well, you must reward with a snack.
Would it be OK to put utensils or water bowls right next to the
defecation board?
A: Absolutely not. If the place where the dog eats and the place where it defecates is
the same, you can't train defecation or other training properly. Keep a distance of at
least 3 meters.
The cleaning power seems weak, can't it be cleaned more strongly?
A: If you use a powerful pump, it will not only make a loud noise, but the water stream
of the washing water is so strong that it bounces off the legs of the mesh, and water
gets on the feces, making it more troublesome. The biggest reason for treating urine
with water is to remove the terrible smell, so the current washing power is sufficient.
Is it true that defecation training is difficult if you often spray
perfume in the room?
A: The dog's favorite smell is the smell of sweat and feet of the dog owner, and the
smell that he hates the most is the smell of perfume. The smell of perfume blurs
one’s judgment and interferes with defecation, so avoid using it as much as possible
