•Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children under the
age of 8 years.
•Do not store any explosive substances such as spray cans with a
flammable propellant in the device.

•Disconnect the device from the power supply
– before each cleaning and maintenance
– after every use
•Food may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable
containers.
ANOTICE!
•Check that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to
that of the energy supply.
•Only connect the device as follows:
– With the DC cable to a DC plug socket in the vehicle (e. g.
cigarette lighter)
– Or with the AC connection cable to the AC mains supply
•Never pull the plug out of the socket by the cable.
•If the cooler is connected to the DC socket: Disconnect the cooler and
other power consuming devices from the battery before connecting
the quick charging device.
•If the cooler is connected to the DC socket: Disconnect the cooler or
switch it off when you turn off the engine. Otherwise you may dis-
charge the battery.
•The cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.
•The cooling device contains inflammable cyclopentane in the
insulation. The gases in the insulation material require special disposal
procedures. Deliver the device at the end of its life-cycle to an appro-
priate recycling.

2.2 Operating the device safely
!CAUTION!
•Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line and the
plug are dry.
ANOTICE!
•Do not use electrical devices inside the cooler unless they are
recommended by the manufacturer for the purpose.
•Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat sources
(heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
•Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all timesthat thereis sufficient ventilation so that the heat that
arises during operation does not build up. Make sure that the device
is sufficiently far away from walls and other objects so that the air can
circulate.
•Ensure that the ventilation openings are not covered.
•Do not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
•Never immerse the device in water.
•Protect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.

5 Intended use
The refrigerator is suitable for use as a milk cooler for coffee makers. Supply tubes for
espresso and coffee makers can be fed through the holes in the sides of the
appliance.
The cooling device is also suitable for cooling and heating foodstuffs. There is a
switch to change between heating and cooling modes.
The cooling device is intended to be used in household and similar applications
such as
•staff kitchen areas in shops, offices and other working environments
•farm houses
•clients in hotels, motels and other residential type environments
•bed and breakfast type environments
•catering and similar non-retail applications
The appliance usually runs on the 230 V AC mains. With the 12 V cable available as
an accessory you can run it from a 12 V supply such as a cigarette lighter.
The refrigerator can cool products to a maximum of 20 °C under the ambient
temperature (temperature restriction at approx. +1 °C) or warm them to a maximum
of 65 °C. A partition can be used to separate foodstuffs, such as drinks and fruit.

6 Technical description
The device has an integrated mains adapter with a priority circuit. The device
switches automatically to mains operation when the device is connected to a 230 V
AC mains supply even if the 12 V connection cable is still connected.
Its cooling system is a non-wearing Peltier cooling system with the heat discharged
by a fan.

sunlight.
•Allow warm food to cool down first before placing it in the cooling device to
keep cool.

7.2 Using the cooling device

➤Place the refrigerator on a firm base.
Ensure that the ventilation slots are at least 10 cm away from the wall so that the
heat that arises during operation can be drawn off.

➤Insert the flat plug of the 230 V cable (fig. 12, page 3) into the socket
(fig. 21, page 3) on the appliance and insert the power plug into the 230 V
socket.
or
➤Insert the flat plug of the 12 V cable (accessory) into the DC socket (fig. 22,
page 3) and connect it to the cigarette lighter socket or a 12 V socket in your car.
➤Push the switch (fig. 33, page 4) on the control panel to “HOT” or “COLD” to
switch the device on.
✓The refrigerator starts cooling/heating the interior and the appropriate LED lights
up.

➤When you stop using the refrigerator, set the switch (fig. 23, page 3) to “OFF”.
NOTICE!
•When using the refrigerator as a milk cooler, also see the instructions
in the customer documentation of your coffee maker.
•Like every refrigerator, your cooler must be properly ventilated so
that any heat created can dissipate. Otherwise, it may not work
properly.
NOTE
Seal the opening on the side of the appliance with the plug if you have
not fed a tube inside (fig. 3A, page 4).
NOTE
For use as a milk cooler for coffee makers only, the refrigerator has holes
in both sides, sealed with a black plug (fig. 3A, page 4). Remove the
plug (fig. 3B, page 4) and push the milk tube supplied into the
appliance. Now the coffee maker can draw up cold milk directly from
a suitable vessel inside the refrigerator.

Ensure that the objects placed in the refrigerator are suitable for cooling
or heating to the selected temperature.

➤Occasionally clean the device interior and exterior with a damp cloth.
➤Make sure that the air inlet and outlet vents on the device are free of any dust and
dirt, so that heat can be released and the device is not damaged.
NOTE
If you are not going to use the refrigerator for a long time, leave the door
slightly ajar to prevent unpleasant odours building up.
NOTICE!
When using the refrigerator as a milk cooler, also see the instructions in
the customer documentation of your coffee maker.
WARNING!
Always disconnect the device from the power supply before you clean
and service it.
NOTICE! Risk of damage
•Never clean the cooler under running water or in dish water.
•Do not use abrasive cleaning agents or hard objects during cleaning
as these can damage the cooler.

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please contact the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the instruction manual for the
addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following documents when
you send in the device:
•A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
•A reason for the claim or description of the fault

es nicht in Betrieb nehmen.
•Wenn das Anschlusskabel dieses Kühlgerätes beschädigt wird, muss
es durch den Hersteller, seinen Kundendienst oder eine ähnlich
qualifizierte Person ersetzt werden, um Gefährdungen zu vermeiden.
•Reparaturen an diesem Kühlgerät dürfen nur von Fachkräften durch-
geführt werden. Durch unsachgemäße Reparaturen können erheb-
liche Gefahren entstehen.
•Dieses Kühlgerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren und darüber sowie von
Personen mit verringerten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und Wissen benutzt werden,

•Kinder sollten beaufsichtigt werden, um sicherzustellen, dass sie nicht
mit dem Kühlgerät spielen.
•Verwahren und benutzen Sie das Kühlgerät außerhalb der Reichweite
von Kindern unter 8 Jahren.
•Lagern Sie keine explosionsfähigen Stoffe wie z. B. Sprühdosen mit
brennbarem Treibgas im Kühlgerät.

•Trennen Sie das Kühlgerät von der Stromversorgung

•Lebensmittel dürfen nur in Originalverpackungen oder geeigneten

•Vergleichen Sie die Spannungsangabe auf dem Typenschild mit der

•Schließen Sie das Kühlgerät nur wie folgt an:
– mit dem Gleichstrom-Anschlusskabel an die Gleichstrom-Bord-
steckdose (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder) im Fahrzeug
– oder mit dem Wechselstrom-Anschlusskabel an das
Wechselstromnetz
•Ziehen Sie den Stecker nie am Anschlusskabel aus der Steckdose.
•Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose angeschlossen
ist: Klemmen Sie Ihr Kühlgerät und andere Verbraucher von der
Fahrzeugbatterie ab, bevor Sie ein Schnellladegerät anschließen.
•Wenn das Kühlgerät an der Gleichstrom-Steckdose angeschlossen
ist: Trennen Sie die Verbindung oder schalten Sie das Kühlgerät aus,
wenn Sie den Motor ausschalten. Sonst kann die Fahrzeugbatterie
entladen werden.
•Das Kühlgerät ist nicht geeignet für den Transport ätzender oder
lösungsmittelhaltiger Stoffe.
•Dieses Kühlgerät enthält in der Isolierung brennbares Zyklopentan.
Die Gase im Isolationsmaterial erfordern ein besonderes Entsorgungs-
verfahren. Führen Sie das Kühlgerät am Ende seiner Lebensdauer
einer ordnungsgemäßen Entsorgung zu.

!VORSICHT!
•AchtenSievorder Inbetriebnahme darauf,dassZuleitungundStecker
trocken sind.
AACHTUNG!
•Benutzen Sie keine Elektrogeräte innerhalb des Kühlgerätes, außer
wenn diese Elektrogeräte vom Hersteller dafür empfohlen werden.
•Stellen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht in der Nähe von offenen Flammen oder
anderen Wärmequellen (Heizung, starke Sonneneinstrahlung, Gas-
öfen usw.) ab.
•Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme aus-
reichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass das Kühl-
gerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegenständen
steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann.
•Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
•Füllen Sie keine Flüssigkeiten oder Eis in den Innenbehälter.
•Tauchen Sie das Kühlgerät nie in Wasser.
•Schützen Sie das Kühlgerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

Als Zubehör erhältlich (nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten):
5 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Der Kühlschrank eignet sich als Michkühler für Kaffeeautomaten. Durch die
Öffnungen an den Geräteseiten können die Zuleitungsschläuche von Espresso- und
Kaffeeautomaten geführt werden.
Das Kühlgerät eignet sich auch zum Kühlen und Wärmen von Lebensmitteln. Mit
einem Schalter kann zwischen dem Heizbetrieb und dem Kühlbetrieb gewechselt
werden.
Das Kühlgerät ist für den Hausgebrauch und ähnliche Anwendungsbereiche vorge-
sehen wie zum Beispiel
•in Personalküchen von Läden, Büros und anderen Arbeitsbereichen
•in der Landwirtschaft
•von Gästen in Hotels, Motels oder anderen Unterkünften
•in Frühstückspensionen
•im Catering und ähnlichen Großhandelsanwendungen
Das Gerät wird üblicherweise am 230-V-Wechselstromnetz betrieben. Mit dem als
Zubehör erhältlichen 12-V-Anschlusskabel können Sie das Gerät auch an einer 12-V-
Anschlussspannung (z. B. Zigarettenanzünder) betreiben.

6 Technische Beschreibung
Das Gerät hat ein integriertes Netzteil mit Vorrangschaltung. Dadurch wird auto-
matisch auf Netzbetrieb umgeschaltet, wenn das Gerät an einem 230-V-Wechsel-
stromnetz angeschlossen ist, auch wenn das 12-V-Anschlusskabel noch
angeschlossen ist.
Die Kühlung ist eine verschleißfreie Peltierkühlung mit Wärmeabfuhr durch einen
Lüfter.

•Wählen Sie einen gut belüfteten und vor Sonnenstrahlen geschützten Einsatzort.
•Lassen Sie warme Speisen erst abkühlen, bevor Sie sie im Kühlgerät kühl halten.
•Öffnen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht häufiger als nötig.
•Lassen Sie das Kühlgerät nicht länger offen als nötig.
