The electrical installation and setup of
the device must be performed by a qual-
ified electrician who has demonstrated
skill and knowledge related to the con-
struction and operation of electrical
equipment and installations, and who is
familiar with the applicable regulations
of the country in which the equipment is
to be installed and/or used, and has
received safety training to identify and
avoid the hazards involved.

All other actions are intended also for non-profes-
sional users.
Intended use
The mains priority switch is intended for distribut-
ing power supply in recreational vehicles (RV) with
two available voltage supplies.
The mains priority switch can be used according to
the specified protection type after proper installa-
tion and cable routing with suitable cable diame-
ters and external strain relief. The device is not
suitable for outdoor use.
This product is only suitable for the intended pur-
pose and application in accordance with these
instructions.
This manual provides information that is necessary
for proper installation and/or operation of the
product. Poor installation and/or improper operat-
ing or maintenance will result in unsatisfactory per-
formance and a possible failure.
The manufacturer accepts no liability for any injury
or damage to the product resulting from:
• Incorrect assembly or connection, including
excess voltage
• Incorrect maintenance or use of spare parts
other than original spare parts provided by the
manufacturer
• Alterations to the product without express per-
mission from the manufacturer
• Use for purposes other than those described in

Dometic reserves the right to change product

Technical desc ription
If a mains voltage and voltage generated by the
inverter (RV house battery) are both connected to
the device, the use of the mains voltage haspriority
(fig. 1, page 3). If only voltage generated by the
inverter is available, the power supply from the bat-
tery is used (fig. 2, page 3). This ensures that the
limited power of the battery is only used when nec-
essary.

Installation
Choosing a location
Install the device in a clean area inside the RV
where it is protected against vibrations, explosive
materials, moisture, heat, and pollution.
Installation procedure

➤Connect the cables according to the wiring dia-
gram (fig. 3, page 4).
Connect the cables through the existing rubber
sleeves, protected outside against tensile loads
and vibration. The diameters of the cables must
correspond to the diameter of the rubber
sleeves in order to comply with the IPrating.

performed, switch off all dangerous volt-
age. Ensure that no accidental switching
on or plugging in of mains voltage is pos-
sible.

Never put cables for 12 VDC voltage and
230 VAC voltage in the same cable duct.

The transfer switch will prioritize input AC1-IN (exter-
nal mains input) prior to input AC2-IN (inverter).
➤Make sure that the inverter applied is equipped
with a safety isolation (galvanic isolation)
between input (battery voltage) and AC output
(230 VAC).
Connected cabling must have sufficient cross-sec-
tion to avoid damage caused by overheating or
fire.
➤Check cables for damage after installation and
secure against tensile stress with suitable
counter-measures.
Operation
The device operates without any handlingfrom the
user. The device detects power input and switches
automatically as soon as a change of the input sup-
ply is detected. The monitoring automatically
detects whether the external 230 VAC mains volt-
age is available and supplies it directly to the 230 V
sockets. If the external 230 VAC mains voltage is
not present, the unit shifts and the interior sockets
are supplied from the inverter.
Cleaning and maintenance
The device is maintenance-free.
➤Occasionally clean the product with a damp
cloth.
Troubleshooting
Warranty
The statutory warranty period applies. If the prod-
uct is defective, please contact your retailer or the
manufacturer's branch in your country (see
dometic.com/dealer).
For repair and warranty processing, pleaseinclude
the following documents when you send in the
product:
• A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
• A reason for the claim or description of the fault
Note that self-repair or nonprofessional repair can
have safety consequences and might void the war-
ranty.

No connection between PE and Nat out-
put AC-OUT is allowed.

Follow prescribed standards and guide-
lines depending on the installation situa-
tion. The appropriate protective device
must be used. When used with a resid-
ual-current device (RCD), Nand PE must
be short-circuited at the 230 V output of
the inverter.
The electrical power supply must be
connectedbya qualifiedelectrician who
has demonstrated skill and knowledge
related to the construction and opera-
tion of electrical equipment and installa-
tions and has received safety training to
identify and avoid the hazards involved.

defective fuse with a fuse with the

Bestimmungsgemäßer
Gebrauch
Der Netzvorrangschalter dient zur Verteilung der
Stromversorgung in Freizeitfahrzeugen (RV) mit
zwei verfügbaren Spannungsversorgungen.
Der Netzvorrangschalter kann nach ordnungsge-
mäßer Installation und Kabelverlegung mit geeig-
neten Kabeldurchmessern und externer
Zugentlastung entsprechend der angegebenen
Schutzart verwendet werden. Das Gerät ist nicht
für den Einsatz im Außenbereich geeignet.
Dieses Produkt ist nur für den angegebenen Ver-
wendungszweck und die Anwendung gemäß die-
ser Anleitung geeignet.
Dieses Handbuch enthält Informationen, die für
die ordnungsgemäße Installation und/oder den
ordnungsgemäßen Betrieb des Produkts erforder-
lich sind. Installationsfehler und/oder ein nicht
ordnungsgemäßer Betrieb oder eine nicht ord-
nungsgemäße Wartung haben eine unzurei-
chende Leistung und u. U. einen Ausfall des Geräts
zur Folge.
Der Hersteller übernimmt keine Haftung für Verlet-

Technische Beschreibung
Wenn am Gerät eine Festnetz-Spannung und eine
von einem Wechselrichter erzeugte Spannung
(Hausbatterie des Freizeitfahrzeugs) anliegt, wird
vorrangig die Festnetz-Spannung genutzt
(Abb. 1, Seite 3). Wenn nur die vom Wechsel-
richter erzeugte Spannung verfügbar ist, wird die
Spannungsversorgungvonder Batterieverwendet
(Abb. 2, Seite 3). So wird sichergestellt, dass die
begrenzte Leistung der Batterie nicht unnötig ver-
braucht wird.

Installation
Standort auswählen
Installieren Sie das Gerät in einem sauberen
Bereich im Wohnmobil, an dem es vor Vibratio-
nen, explosiven Materialien, Feuchtigkeit, Hitze
und Verschmutzung geschützt ist.
Installationsverfahren

Die elektrische Installation und Einrich-
tung des Geräts müssen von einer quali-
fizierten Elektrofachkraft durchgeführt
werden, der seine Fähigkeiten und
Kenntnisse im Zusammenhang mit dem
Aufbau und der Bedienung von elektri-
schen Geräten und Installationen unter
Beweis gestellt hat und der mit den gel-
tenden Vorschriften des Landes, in dem
das Gerät installiert und/oder verwen-
det werden soll, vertraut ist und eine
Sicherheitsschulung erhalten hat, um
die damit verbundenen Gefahren zu
erkennen und zu vermeiden.

Die max. Last beträgt 2300 VA und 10 A.

Die Installation darf nur durch einen qua-
lifizierten Elektriker durchgeführt wer-
den.

➤Schließen Sie die Kabel entsprechend dem
Anschlussplan an (Abb. 3, Seite 4).
Schließen Sie die Kabel durch die vorhandenen
Gummitüllen an, die außen vor Zugbelastungen
und Vibrationen geschützt sind. Die Kabel-
durchmesser müssen dem Durchmesser der
Gummitüllen entsprechen, um der IP-Schutz-
klasse zu entsprechen.

Der Umschalter gibt dem Eingang AC1-IN (Eingang
externer Netzstrom) Vorrang vor AC2-IN (Wechsel-
richter).
➤Stellen Sie sicher, dass der verwendete Wech-
selrichter mit einer Sicherheitstrennung (galvani-
sche Trennung) zwischen Eingang
(Batteriespannung) und Wechselspannungsaus-
gang (230-V-Wechselspannung) ausgestattet
ist.
Die angeschlossenen Kabel müssen über einen
ausreichenden Querschnitt verfügen, um Schäden
durch Überhitzung oder einen Brand zu vermei-
den.
➤Prüfen Sie die Kabel nach der Installation auf
Beschädigungen und sichern Sie sie gegen Zug-
belastung mit geeigneten Gegenmaßnahmen.
Betrieb
Das Gerät funktioniert ohne jeglichen Eingriff
durch den Benutzer. Das Gerät erkennt den Leis-
tungseingang und schaltet automatisch um,
sobald eine Änderung der Eingangsversorgung
erkannt wird. Die Überwachung erkennt automa-
tisch, ob die 230-V-Wechselspannung des exter-
nen Stromnetzes verfügbar ist, und führt diese
direkt den 230-V-Steckdosen zu. Wenn keine 230-
V-Netzwechselspannung anliegt, schaltet die Ein-
heit um und die Innenraumsteckdosen werden
vom Wechselrichter versorgt.
Reinigung und Pflege
Das Gerät ist wartungsfrei.
➤Reinigen Siedas Produkt gelegentlichmiteinem
feuchten Tuch.
WARNUNG! Gefahr durch Strom-

Schalten Sie vor allen Arbeiten an der
230-V-Wechselstromverkabelung alle
gefährlichen Spannungen ab. Stellen Sie
sicher, dass kein unbeabsichtigtes Ein-
schalten oder Einstecken von Netzspan-
nung möglich ist.
WARNUNG! Gefahr durch Strom-
schlag
Verlegen Sie Kabel für 12-V-Gleichspan-
nung und 230-V-Wechselspannung nie-
mals in derselben Leitungsdurchführung.

Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte
das Produkt defekt sein, wenden Sie sich bitte an
Ihren Fachhändler oder die Niederlassung des
Herstellers in Ihrem Land (siehe dome-
tic.com/dealer).
Bitte senden Sie bei einem Reparatur- bzw. Garan-
tieantrag folgende Unterlagen mit dem Produkt
ein:
• Eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum
• Einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbe-
schreibung
Bitte beachten Sie, dass eigenständig oder nicht
fachgerecht durchgeführte Reparaturen die
Sicherheit gefährden und zum Erlöschen der
Garantie führen können.

den, die nachweislich über Fähigkeiten
und Kenntnisse in Bezug auf den Aufbau

ning zum Erkennen und Vermeiden der
diesbezüglichen Gefahren absolviert
hat.

Wenn eine Sicherung defekt ist, öff-
nen Sie die obere Gehäuseabde-
ckung und ersetzen Sie die defekte
Sicherung durch eine Sicherung
mit demselben Wert (10 A,
T250V).
Wenn das Problem direkt nach der
Installation auftritt, stellen Sie
sicher, dass die Verkabelung
gemäß dem Anschlussplan erfolgt
ist.
➤Wenn das Produkt nicht auswechselbare
Batterien, wiederaufladbare Batterien
oder Leuchtmittel enthält, brauchen Sie
diese vor der Entsorgung nicht zu entfer-
nen.
➤Wenn Sie das Gerät endgültig entsorgen
möchten, informieren Sie sich bitte bei
Ihrem Wertstoffhof vor Ort oder bei Ihrem
Fachhändler, wie dies gemäß den gelten-
den Entsorgungsvorschriften zu tun ist.
➤Das Produkt kann kostenlos entsorgt wer-
den.
➤Geben Sie das Verpackungsmaterial mög-
lichst in den entsprechenden Recycling-
Müll.

Usage conforme
Le commutateur de priorité secteur est destiné à la
distribution de l’alimentation électrique dans les
véhicules de loisir dotés de deux alimentations
électriques.
Lecommutateur depriorité secteurpeut êtreutilisé
en fonction du type de protection spécifié après
une installation et un acheminement corrects des
câbles avec des diamètres de câble adaptés et une
décharge de traction externe. L’appareil n’est pas
adapté à une utilisation en extérieur.
Ce produit convient uniquement à l’usage et à
l’application prévus, conformément aux présentes
instructions.
Ce manuel fournit les informations nécessaires à
l’installation et/ou à l’utilisation correcte du pro-
duit. Une installation, une utilisation ou un entre-
tien inappropriés entraînera des performances
insatisfaisantes et une éventuelle défaillance.

Description technique
Si une alimentation secteur et une alimentation
délivrée par un onduleur (batterie interne du véhi-
cule de loisir) sont raccordées à l’appareil, l’ali-
mentation secteur est prioritaire (fig. 1, page 3).
Si seule l’alimentation générée par l’onduleur est
disponible, l’alimentation de la batterie est utilisée
(fig. 2, page 3). Cela permet de garantir que la
tension limitée de la batterie est uniquement utili-
sée en cas de nécessité.

Installez l’appareil dans un endroit propre à l’inté-
rieur du camping-car, où il est protégé contre les
vibrations, les matériaux explosifs, l’humidité, la
chaleur et la pollution.

➤Connectez les câbles conformément au schéma
de raccordement (fig. 3, page 4).
Connectez les câbles à travers les manchons en
caoutchouc existants, dont la partie externe
offre une protection contre les charges de trac-
tion et les vibrations. Les diamètres des câbles
doivent correspondre au diamètre des man-
chons en caoutchouc pour être conformes à
l’indice de protection IP.

L’interrupteur de transfert donne la priorité à
l’entrée AC1-IN (entrée secteur externe) avant
l’entrée AC2-IN (onduleur).
➤Assurez-vous que l’onduleur utilisé est équipé
d’uneisolationde sécurité(isolation galvanique)
entre l’entrée (tension de la batterie) et la sortie
CA (230 V CA).
Le câblage connecté doit avoir une section trans-
versale suffisante pour éviter tout dégât causé par
une surchauffe ou risquer de provoquer un incen-
die.
➤Vérifiezque lescâblesne sontpas endommagés
après l’installation et protégez-les contre les
contraintes de traction à l’aide de dispositifs
appropriés.
Utilisation
L’appareilfonctionne sansaucunemanipulationde
l’utilisateur. L’appareil détecte l’entrée d’alimenta-
tion et commute automatiquement dès qu’un
changement d’alimentation d’entrée est détecté.
Le dispositif de surveillance détecte automatique-
ment si l’alimentation secteur externe 230 V CA
est disponible et la transmet directement aux
prises 230 V. En l’absence d’alimentation secteur
230 V CA externe, le commutateur se déclenche
et les prises intérieures sont alimentées par l’ondu-
leur.
Nettoyage et entretien
L’appareil ne nécessite aucun entretien.
➤Nettoyez de temps en temps le produit avec un
chiffon humide.

Destinazione d’uso
L’interruttore di priorità alla rete è destinato alla
distribuzione dell’alimentazione nei veicoli ricrea-
zionali (RV) con due alimentazioni di tensione
disponibili.
L’interruttore di priorità alla rete può essere utiliz-
zato in base al tipo di protezione specificato dopo
l’installazione corretta e la posa di cavi con diame-
tro adatto e scarico di trazione esterno. L’apparec-
chio non è adatto per l’uso all’aperto.
Questo prodotto è adatto solo per l’uso e l’appli-
cazione previsti in conformità con le presenti istru-
zioni.
Il presente manuale fornisce le informazioni neces-

Descrizione delle caratteri-
stiche tecniche
Se all’apparecchio sono collegate sia una tensione
di rete sia una tensione generata dall’inverter (bat-
teria interna del veicolo ricreazionale), ha priorità la
tensione di rete (fig. 1, pagina 3). Se è disponi-
bile solo la tensione generata dall’inverter, viene
utilizzata l’alimentazione della batteria (fig. 2,
pagina 3). In questo modo viene assicurato che la
potenza limitata della batteria sia utilizzata solo
quando necessario.

Installare il dispositivo in un’area pulita all’interno
del veicolo ricreazionale, dove è protetto da vibra-
zioni, materiali esplosivi, umidità, calore e inquina-
mento.

l’apparecchiatura deve essere installata
e/o utilizzata e abbia ricevuto una forma-
zione sulla sicurezza per identificare ed
evitare i pericoli coinvolti.

➤Collegare i cavi in base allo schema elettrico
(fig. 3, pagina 4).
Collegare i cavi attraverso i manicotti in gomma
esistenti, protetti dall’esterno contro i carichi di
trazione e le vibrazioni. I diametri dei cavi
devono corrispondere al diametro dei manicotti
in gomma per essere conformi al grado di pro-
tezione IP.

L’interruttore di trasferimento dà priorità
all’ingresso AC1-IN (ingresso rete esterna) prima
dell’ingresso AC2-IN (inverter).
➤Assicurarsi che l’inverter applicato sia dotato di
un isolamento di sicurezza (isolamento galva-
nico)tra l’ingresso (tensionedibatteria)el’uscita
CA (230 VCA).
I cavi collegati devono avere una sezione suffi-
ciente per evitare danni causati da surriscalda-
mento o incendio.
➤Dopo l’installazione controllare che i cavi non
siano danneggiati e fissarli adeguatamente per
evitare sollecitazioni di trazione.
Funzionamento
L’apparecchio funziona senza alcun intervento da
parte dell’utente. L’apparecchio rileva l’ingresso
dell’alimentazione e commuta automaticamente
non appena viene rilevata una variazione dell’ali-
mentazione in ingresso. Il monitoraggio rileva
automaticamente se è disponibile la tensione di
rete esterna a 230 VCA e la fornisce direttamente
alle prese a 230 V. Se la tensione di rete esterna a
230 VCA non è presente, l’unità commuta e le
prese interne vengono alimentate dall’inverter.
Pulizia e cura
L’apparecchio non richiede manutenzione.

Seguire gli standard e le linee guida pre-
scritti a seconda della situazione di instal-
lazione. È necessario utilizzare il
dispositivo di protezione appropriato. In
caso di utilizzo con un interruttore diffe-
renziale (RCD), Ne PE devono essere cor-
tocircuitati sull’uscita 230 V dell’inverter.
L’alimentazione elettrica deve essere
collegata da un elettricista qualificato
che abbia dimostrato di possedere abi-
lità e conoscenze sulla costruzione e il
funzionamento di apparecchiature elet-
triche e installazioni e abbia ricevuto la
formazione sulla sicurezza per identifi-
care ed evitare i pericoli correlati.
