HOW TO SET UP THE
LANTERN 5
FIRST INITIAL SETUP FROM THE BOX
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
· DoPchoice products are made to be used with
professional LED luminaires only.
· Before using your DoPchoice product please read these
instructions carefully and also refer to the instructions for the
dedicated luminaire. If you are not sure if the DoPchoice product
is appropriate for use with the dedicated luminaire, please contact
our technical support and / or the technical support of the
luminaire manufacturer.
· Please keep these instructions for future reference.
· Do not leave DoPchoice products unattended while they are in use.
· Please make sure to follow local safety regulations
and guidelines such as mechanical safety attachments etc.
while using DoPchoice products.
· Intense heat, moisture, acidic and chemically aggressive
substances may damage your DoPchoice product and may lead
to an insecure operation.
· Do not use your DoPchoice product if it is damaged.
Please contact DoPchoice for repair.
· Please take additional safety measures if there are windy
conditions when you use DoPchoice products.
· Clean your DoPchoice product only by hand washing with luke
warm water and mild soap. DO NOT MACHINE WASH.
To dry, please assemble completely and air dry.
· Please do not modify and/or repair DoPchoice products by yourself.
We reserve the right to void warranties for inappropriately modified
or repaired products.
· Store and transport the DoPchoice product in the transport bag
after usage.

1.) We have packed the Lantern5 very compactly.
To install it the first time please follow these instructions
2.) Take it out of the carry bag: There are 8 Pole extensions
that need to connected to the thin poles
3.) Open the Lantern fully 4.) Connect the Extension to the pole

5.) Pull the rod extension 2 cm back into the elastic loop 6.) Repeat this for all 8 rods and you are ready for
the first basic setup

1.) Take the Lantern 5 out of the Carry bag and
align the backing
2.) Open all 4 Velcro attachments and 4 Zippers at the Backing.
This will help you to set up the unit easily. Check if the rods
are correctly attached into the Rod Extensions and that the
steel inside the Lantern is properly aligned with the diffusion.
3.) Open the 2 top Rabbit Ears and start to install the
2 rod extensions into the Rabbit Ears
4.) With the Lantern hanging down you can start to install
the other poles into the Rabbit Ears clockwise or counter-
clockwise.
5.) It helps if you gently push the rods to the back of the housing so they slide easily into the Rabbit Ears insert hole.

6.) After finshing with all 8 rods you can cover the back and close all the zippers and velcros again.

don’t cover any Air
Vents of the Lighting
Fixture.

8.) Use the white elastic strap to bring the Lantern
in your preferred shape.
To unmounts the Lantern 5 take care that you
• first release the Elastic strap and reduce by the the
tension in the lantern.
• secondly open all 4 Zippers and 4 Velcro parts of the backing.
• Then you can release the 8 rod extensions out of the
Rabbit ears.
• The rod extensions can stay as one part with the rods.
