Press and hold the power button until the red light
turns on. The red light will be solid until the device
vibrates and powers off. The device cannot make
calls if powered off.
Press and hold the power button to power back
on. PERS+ will vibrate and state the battery level:
“Battery OK” or “Battery low, please charge.” The
lights around the call button will be solid for 5
seconds, and then the blue call light will flash every
5 seconds. Please wait 2 minutes after restarting
before pressing the call button.
Plug in the charging cradle
and place PERS+ into the
cradle as shown. PERS+
will vibrate and state
“Charging.”
IMPORTANT: Fully charge PERS+
before first use.
HOW TO CHARGE DOSE PERS+
Typical charging time is 2-3
hours. The red battery light flashes
every 5 seconds while charging
and is solid when PERS+ is fully
charged.

PERS+ will state, “Your device is now active. Please
press your button,” once activation is complete.
NOTE: PERS+’s rechargeable battery lasts up to 7 days
per charge. Only charge as needed. Wear your device as
often as possible to be protected. is fully charged.
To restart PERS+ with the power button:

Red battery light at top of call button
The red battery light will flash every 10 seconds when
the device needs to be charged.
While charging, the red battery light will flash every 5
seconds until the device is fully charged.
Once fully charged, the red battery light will be solid.
Blue call light around call button
During an SOS call, the blue call light will be solid.
The blue call light will flash every 5 seconds when
PERS+ is on and ready for use. The blue call light also
flashes every 5 seconds for 3 minutes during the daily
check-in to the network.

Press and hold the call button and count 1, 2, 3,
or until the light around the call button on PERS+

After a short delay, you will hear a voice
message and then a loud beep or ringing.
The specialist will answer the call.
The specialist can send emergency personnel or
loved ones to help you.
HOW TO CALL FOR HELP
TESTING PERS+ WEEKLY
To test, press and hold the call button and count 1, 2, 3,
or until the light around the call button on PERS+ turns
blue and the device vibrates, then release the button..
After a short delay, you will hear tones or ringing and
then a voice .
The specialist will answer the call.
Tell the specialist you are testing.
We recommend that you test PERS+ weekly.
Note: If the button is pressed and the blue call light
flashes every 1 second, the device will state, “Activation
needed. Place device on charging cradle until blue light
flashes once every 5 seconds, then test the device.”
Charge the device until the battery light is solid red and
then press and hold the call button to test again. If your
PERS+ does not test properly, please contact our

If PERS+ detects a fall, it can automatically connect to
care specialists who can dispatch emergency
services if needed

REPLACE LANYARD WITH BELT CLIP
CLEANING PERS+ WEEKLY
Remove the lanyard by pressing the small tab
upward to release the clip.
Pull the lanyard and clip away from the PERS+
device.
Press the clip on the back of the belt clip into the
slot on the back of PERS+ until it clicks.
Note: You can charge PERS+ in its cradle with the
belt clip attached.
We recommend that you clean PERS+
weekly to ensure proper charging.
Take a soft cloth, such as an
eyeglass cleaning cloth, and gently
rub the gold contacts on the device
and charging cradle to remove dirt, oil
and debris.

You can also spray household cleaner onto the
cleaning cloth (though do not spray directly onto the
device or cradle) to remove debris.

Coverage:
This product requires that there be adequate cellular
coverage to work properly. It can be located using GPS
and WiFi location technologies. It is important
to test the device to know if it works in your area.
Remember that your surroundings, environmental and
topographical conditions may also affect your coverage.
If you experience coverage issues, please call your dealer
immediately.
Charging:
Your device’s rechargeable battery may last up to 7 days
per charge. The red battery light will flash when it is not
on the charging cradle and needs to be recharged. Wear
your device at all times and only charge when necessary.
Failure to follow charging procedures will result in the
device not being able to function properly.
Water-Resistant:
PERS+ is IPX7 water-resistant. PERS+ should not
be submerged. PERS+ should be towel-dried after expo-
sure to water.
Pacemakers:
Individuals with pacemakers should consult their physi-
cian and review their pacemaker materials regarding
interaction with cell phones, and take the same precau-
tions the materials recommend for this device.
Device Placement:
If you are subscribed to the PERS+ fall detection feature,
Belle+ must be worn around the neck with a lanyard to
accurately detect a fall

Fall Detection:
Fall detection is an optional service for PERS+ and uses
patented algorithms to detect falls. If a fall is detected,
you will be connected to specialists who can dispatch
emergency services if needed. You will be able to tell
specialists if you do not need assistance. We cannot
guarantee that the service will always accurately deter-
mine or cancel a fall alarm. It is advised you always press
the button if you need help.
Testing Fall Detection:
Hold PERS+ above eye level in one hand and drop it into
the palm of the other hand at waist level. When a fall is
detected, PERS+ states, “Fall detected. Press the call
button to cancel.” A fall may be canceled within 12
seconds by pressing the call button, and the device will
state, “Fall detection canceled.” If not canceled, you will
hear tones or ringing and then a voice message. The
specialist will answer the call. If your PERS+ does not
test properly, please contact your dealer immediately.
Location-Based Services:
Some of the Equipment uses technology to permit
third-parties, including the Monitoring Center, to deter-
mine where you are physically located at any given time
(the “Location Based Services”). Location Based Services
may work even if you are not in communication with the
Monitoring Center. The accuracy of the Location Based
Services is limited, and the Company, the Operators, the
Monitoring Center, the Responders, or others may not be
able to identify your location or the location of the Equip-
ment precisely or at all.
