-Terminal Description
TRX- :RS485 Negative Signal (The same signal with other products B,-)
TRX+ :RS485 Positive Signal (The same signal with other products A,-)
-The efficiency of termination resistance
In the case of terminating resistance,binding internal RS485 by 120 ohms,can get effect about
efficiency of external noise and signal transduction.
Thus,if 1:1,Host and Client-ended are better to process termination,if 1:N,it is better to
process termination only for Host and end Client module.

- Illustration of terminating resistance processing
No Good method :termination resistors processing in the middle of line
- Proper wiring of RS485 line
*Tip
Line connection method that branches line from No.1 starting from Master,to No.2 Client
starting from Master,and connect to No.3 Client branching again from No.2 is good for
noise and improving flowing status of signal.Otherwise,method that all Clients are
branched from Host may scatter the following situation of signal and it is no good for
debugging in some cases when produced problem.

How to use products
1.Connect AX7241 model to PC using USB cable.
2.If new hardware device is searched,install Device Driver of DeviceDRV folder in CD.
3.Connect green connector terminal of AX7241 to communication card of Client
RS485 device between the same signals.
(For exampleTRX + ↔TRX +,TRX- ↔TRX-)
4.Windows start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager >
Ports and LPT should check the virtual serial port.
5.Use setting Serial COM port that get caught virtually at Client terminal.

Product installation
- Connect AX7241 model to PC using USB cable before install driver.

-When properly installed,It is available to confirm at Device Manager,Port (COM & LPT).
My Computer > right-click > Properties > Hardware > Device Manager or
Windows start > Control Panel > System > Hardware > Device Manager > Ports and LPT

3.Start inWindows > Programs > Accessories > Communications >
HyperTerminal select.
4.When Pops up the New Connection Window,input the proper name,
then click the OK button.
5.Select the virtual COM identified in Device Manager of Connection object window.

How toTEST products
※If it is AX7241 (needed 2 units of AX7241 product)
1.Connect betweenTRX + ↔TRX +,TRX- ↔TRX- for RS485 terminal of green
connector end of product.
2.Connect USB terminal to PC.

6.After setting the Properties window as shown below,then click the OK button.
7.Practical communications terminal window is generated,and check the connection
status under the statusWindow.Note ;if use PC COM No.5,6,must make by
selecting respectively No.5,6 at connection target window.
8.So,when come up 2 windows , put the character in hyper terminal window and
verify characters transferred on the other HyperTerminal window.
