SAFETY SUMMERY
The following Safety Instructions are to be observed by all personnel in Duna Photo.
The operation of the S-800 components is approved only for qualified and approved
operators (See flight Operations Manual).
1. GENERAL SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The operation of the S-800 is approved only with equipment which Duna Photo
approved for such matter.
The S-800 System shall be operated only by authorized personnel who have been
designated by Duna Photo.
Only procedures documented in the S-800 Flight Operations Manual, S-800 Flight
Procedures, S-800 Operator Manual or S-800 Maintenance Manual shall be used
in the operation of the S-800 System.
Only authorized test, measurement and monitoring equipment as detailed in this
manual, shall be connected to the S-800 System.
2. ROTOR SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
a. Safety distance
Do not approach the air vehicle when it is powered up, even when the Rotors are
not rotating for a distance of less than 2 meter, unless it is for the purpose of
disconnecting the AV battery.
When the Rotors are rotating it is forbidden to closer than 1 meters from the
aircraft
3. LITHIUM POLYMER BATTERIES SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
The chemical compound inside the LITHIUM POLYMER battery is very sensitive and
unstable. Use the following safety measures while using these batteries:
Do not carry or store battery together with any metal object.
Do not pierce or strike the battery.
Do not attempt to disassemble or modify the battery in any way.
Do not expose the battery to water and do not allow it to get wet.

Do not reverse the battery's polarity.
Do not apply direct heat to the battery.
Do not use any other charger besides its original charger.
Do not expose the battery to direct sunlight.
Do not leave the battery inside vehicles in hot weather.
4. FIRE
Fires can occur due to a short circuit or battery failure.
In case of start of fire:
Move away from the fire source.
If the fire source is the LiPo battery, it is not possible to put out the fire on the
battery, due to the nature of the chemical reaction inside the battery.
Use a CO2 fire extinguisher to put out secondary fires that may have been caused
by the battery.
Water can be used though it may cause other electrical component failures.
