Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
• Das Gerät eignet sich zum Backen, Warmhalten oder Auftauen von Lebensmitteln.
• Das Gerät ist für den privaten Hausgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung
bestimmt.
• Das Gerät nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig. Falsche Bedienung und unsachgemäße Behandlung
können zu Störungen am Gerät und zu Verletzungen des Benutzers führen.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemä-
ße Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch
für den normalen Verschleiß.
Sicherheitshinweise
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Per-
sonen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und / oder Wissen be-
nutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des siche-
ren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die daraus
resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie sind älter als 8 Jahre und
werden beaufsichtigt.
■Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere sind vom Gerät und dem
Netzkabel fernzuhalten.
VORSICHT: heiße Oberflächen! Das Gerät wird wäh-
rend des Gebrauchs sehr heiß. Ausschließlich Griffe und
Regler berühren, während das Gerät in Betrieb ist oder
unmittelbar nach dem Ausschalten. Das Gerät nur trans-
portieren bzw. verstauen, wenn es vollständig abgekühlt
ist. Das Gerät darf während des Betriebes nicht bewegt
werden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem Reini-
gen stets vom Netz zu trennen.
■Das Gerät ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeitschalt-
uhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu werden.
■Im Interesse der eigenen Sicherheit das Gerät, das Netzkabel
und den Netzstecker vor jeder Inbetriebnahme auf Beschädi-

gungen überprüfen. Das Gerät nur benutzen, wenn es funktions-
fähig ist.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Das Netzkabel
nicht selbst austauschen. Wenn das Gerät, das Netzkabel oder
der Netzstecker des Gerätes beschädigt sind, müssen diese
durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich qualifi-
zierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden, um Gefähr-
dungen zu vermeiden.
■Unbedingt die Hinweise im Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbe-
wahrung“ beachten.
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden und lagern.
■Nicht in Räumen mit hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden.
■Das Gerät und Kabel niemals in Wasser oder andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen. Soll-
te das Gerät in Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen.
■Sollte das Gerät ins Wasser fallen, sofort die Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Nicht
versuchen, das Gerät aus dem Wasser zu ziehen, während es an das Stromnetz
angeschlossen ist!
■Das Gerät, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen
berühren, wenn diese Komponenten an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.
WARNUNG – Verletzungsgefahr
■Erstickungsgefahr! Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungsmaterial fernhalten.
■Strangulationsgefahr! Sicherstellen, dass das Netzkabel stets außer Reichweite
von Kleinkindern und Tieren ist.
Verbrühungsgefahr durch Hitze, heißen Dampf oder Kondenswasser!
■Beim Öffnen des Gerätes kann heißer Dampf entweichen. Kopf und Hände da-
her aus der Gefahrenzone fernhalten. Wir empfehlen außerdem Topflappen oder
Küchenhandschuhe zu benutzen, wenn die Glastür geöffnet und Speisen ent-
nommen wird.
■Hände und Kopf von den Lüftungsschlitzen fernhalten. Aus den Lüftungsschlit-
zen tritt heißer Dampf aus!
■Sturzgefahr! Darauf achten, dass das angeschlossene Netzkabel keine Stolper-
gefahr darstellt.
■Das Gerät darf während des Betriebes nicht bewegt werden.
WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen benutzen, in denen sich leichtentzündliche Substanzen
oder giftige sowie explosive Dämpfe befinden.

■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material betreiben. Keine brennbaren
Materialien (z. B. Pappe, Papier, Holz, Kunststoff) in oder auf das Gerät legen.
■Zu große Speisen, Metallfolienverpackungen oder Werkzeuge dürfen nicht in das
Gerät gelegt werden, weil sie Feuer oder einen Elektroschlag verursachen können.
■Darauf achten, dass öl- und fettreiche Speisen nicht überhitzt werden, damit sie kein
Feuer fangen.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht abdecken, um einen Gerätebrand zu vermeiden.
■Das Gerät nicht zusammen mit anderen Verbrauchern (mit hoher Wattleistung) an
eine Mehrfachsteckdose anschließen, um eine Überlastung und ggf. einen Kurz-
schluss (Brand) zu vermeiden.
■Im Brandfall: Nicht mit Wasser löschen! Flammen mit einer feuerfesten Decke oder
einem geeigneten Feuerlöscher ersticken.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und Sachschäden
■Das Gerät immer mit einem Freiraum zu allen Seiten (mind. 20 cm) und nach oben
(mind. 30 cm) auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und hitzeunempfindlichen Unter-
grund stellen.
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten,
die mit den „Technischen Daten“ des Gerätes übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein, damit die Netz-
verbindung schnell getrennt werden kann.
■Nur ordnungsgemäße Verlängerungskabel verwenden, deren technische Daten mit
denen des Gerätes übereinstimmen.
■Das Gerät hat Gummifüße. Einige Möbel sind mit Materialien beschichtet, welche
die Gummifüße angreifen könnten. Zur Sicherheit ggf. eine Unterlage unter das Ge-
rät legen.
■Das Netzkabel darf nicht von der Aufstellfläche herabhängen, um ein Herunter-
reißen des Gerätes zu verhindern.
■Darauf achten, dass das Netzkabel nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder über scharfe
Kanten gelegt wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt. Das Netzka-
bel nicht um das Gerät wickeln (Gefahr von Kabelbruch).
■Das Gerät vor Hitze, offenem Feuer, extremen Temperaturen, lang anhaltender
Feuchtigkeit, Nässe und Stößen schützen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Herstellers verwenden.
■Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn während des Betriebes ein Fehler
auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Das Gerät muss ausgeschaltet sein, wenn der Netzstecker gezogen oder in die
Steckdose gesteckt wird.
■Das Gerät niemals am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen. Beim Herausziehen aus der
Steckdose immer am Netzstecker und nie am Netzkabel ziehen!
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf das Gerät, das Netzteil oder das Netzkabel legen
oder stellen.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
BEACHTEN!
■Niemals das Typenschild und eventuelle Warnhinweise entfernen!
1. Ziehen Sie eventuelle Aufkleber und Folien von dem Gerät ab.
2. Das Gerät kann mit Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesundheitliche
Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, das Gerät und die Zubehörteile gründlich vor
dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung“).
3. Das Gerät auf eine trockene und hitzebeständige, ebene Fläche in ausreichendem
Abstand zu brennbaren Gegenständen aufstellen. Darauf achten, dass das Gerät
Kindern nicht zugänglich sein darf.
4. Den Netzstecker in eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose stecken.
5. Die erste Inbetriebnahme sollte ohne Nahrungsmittel erfolgen, da es auf Grund
eventueller Beschichtungsrückstände zu einer geringen Geruchs- oder Rauchent-
wicklung kommen könnte. Das Gerät ca. 10 – 15 Minuten ohne Inhalt aufheizen las-
sen. Dabei für einen gut durchlüfteten Raum, z.B. über weit geöffnete Fenster sor-
gen! Bei der Inbetriebnahme auch die Hinweise im Kapitel „Benutzung“ beachten.
6. Das Gerät anschließend komplett abkühlen lassen und ein weiteres Mal reinigen.

Benutzung
BEACHTEN!
■Nahrungsmittel nicht in Frischhaltefolie oder in Plastikbeuteln verpackt in das Gerät
legen.
■Keine fett- oder ölhaltigen Lebensmittel direkt auf das Rost legen, damit die unteren
Heizelemente nicht durch herabtropfendes Fett/ Öl verschmutzt werden. Das mitge-
lieferte Backblech verwenden!
■Darauf achten, dass die Speisen, nicht die Heizelemente des Gerätes berühren.
■Die Glastür immer geschlossen halten, wenn das Gerät in Betrieb ist.
■Das heiße Backblech oder den heißen Rost immer auf eine hitzebeständige Unter-
lage legen.
• Im Allgemeinen ist es nicht nötig, das Gerät vorzuheizen. Bei der Zubereitung
von Speisen, die „auf den Punkt“ gegart werden sollen, ist ein Vorheizen
dennoch empfehlenswert, um den Garzeitpunkt exakt bemessen zu können.
• Für die Zubereitung von tiefgekühlten Waren rnach den Zeit- und
Temperaturvorgaben des Herstellers richten.
1. Die Glastür (6) öffnen.
2. Je nach Bedarf nur den Rost oder den Rost und das Backblech in die untere, mittlere
oder obere Schiene schieben.
3. Die Lebensmittel auf das Rost bzw. Backblech legen.
4. Die Glastür schließen.
5. Den Temperaturregler TEMPERATUR (1) im Uhrzeigersinn auf die gewünschte
Temperatur stellen.
6. Den Betriebsschalter (2) auf die gewünschte Funktion drehen.
7. Um den Backvorgang zu starten, den TIMER (3) im Uhrzeigersinn auf die gewünschte
Zeit stellen (maximal 60 Minuten). Die Kontrollleuchte (4) leuchtet nach Einstellen
der Timerzeit.
Steht der TIMER auf AUS, wird der Backofen nicht eingeschaltet.
8. Wenn die eingestellte Zeit abgelaufen ist, ertönt ein Signalton und das Gerät
unterbricht automatisch die weitere Hitzezufuhr. Danach alle Regler auf AUS drehen.
9. Soll der Backvorgang vorzeitig abgebrochen werden, den TIMER auf die Position
AUS drehen, um das Gerät auszuschalten. Anschließend alle Regler auf AUS
drehen.
10. Die Glastür öffnen und vorsichtig das Backblech bzw. den Rost entnehmen. Im
Lieferumfang ist eine Entnahmehilfe enthalten, die die Entnahme des Backbleches
bzw. des Rostes erleichtert.
11. Den Ofen abkühlen lassen.

Reinigung
BEACHTEN!
■Niemals kaltes Wasser während oder direkt nach dem Gebrauch auf die Glastür des
Geräts spritzen. Das Glas könnte zerspringen.
■Keine Reinigungsmittel direkt auf das Gerät sprühen. Keine Glasreiniger verwen-
den.
■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel verwenden. Die-
se können die Oberfläche beschädigen. Keine Metallgegenstände benutzen.
1. Alle herausnehmbaren Teile aus dem Gerät nehmen.
2. Alle Zubehörteile mit warmem Wasser und mildem Spülmittel reinigen. Sie sind nicht
geschirrspülgeeignet.
3. Das Gerätegehäuse (7) und die Heizelemente mit einem sauberen feuchten Tuch
abwischen. Bei Bedarf ein für Backöfen geeignetes Reinigungsmittel verwenden.
Dabei die Gebrauchsanweisung des Reinigungsmittels beachten.
4. Alle Teile vollständig trocknen lassen, bevor das Gerät an einem sauberen, trocke-
nen, für Kinder und Tiere unzugänglichen Ort verstaut wird.
Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Problem selbst
behoben werden kann. Lässt sich mit den genannten Schritten das Problem nicht lösen,
den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein defektes elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren!
Problem Mögliche Ursache/Lösung
Das Gerät funktioniert

• Ist der TIMER (3) eingeschaltet?
• Steckt der Netzstecker richtig in der Steckdose?
• Ist die Steckdose defekt? Eine andere Steckdose
probieren.
• Die Sicherung im elektrischen Verteiler
(Sicherungskasten) überprüfen.
Die Speisen werden nicht
gar.
• Die Backzeit mit dem TIMER verlängern
• Ober- und Unterhitze variieren bzw. die Temperatur
erhöhen.
Geruchs- oder
Rauchentwicklung
• Bei der ersten Inbetriebnahme: Auf Grund eventueller
Beschichtungsrückstände kann es zu einer geringen
Geruchs- oder Rauchentwicklung kommen. Dies ist
normal. Das Gerät ca. 15 Minuten aufheizen (siehe
Kapitel „Vor dem ersten Gebrauch“).
• Das Gerät wurde bereits benutzt: Ist der Innenraum
des Ofens bzw. sind die Heizelemente verschmutzt?
Die Anweisungen des Kapitels „Reinigung“ befolgen.

• This device is suitable for baking, keeping warm or defrosting food.
• The device is for personal use only and is not intended for commercial applications.
• Use the device only as described in the instructions. Any other use is deemed to be
improper. Incorrect operation and incorrect handling may cause faults with the device
and cause injury to the user.
• The following are excluded from the warranty: all defects caused by improper han-
dling, damage or unauthorised attempts at repair. This also applies to normal wear
and tear.
Safety Instructions
■This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from this.
■Children must not play with the device.
■Cleaning and user maintenance may not be performed by
children, unless they are older than 8 years of age and are
supervised.

away from the device and the mains cord.
CAUTION: hot surfaces! The device will become very
hot during use. Only touch the handles and the controller
while the device is in use or immediately after it has been
switched off. Only transport or store away the device after
it has cooled down completely. The device must not be
moved during operation.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before cleaning the device.
■The device is not intended to be operated with an external timer
or a separate telecontrol system.
■In the interest of your own safety, check the device, the mains
cable and the mains plug for damage every time before use.
Use the device only if it is in working order.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. Do not replace the
mains cable yourself. If the device, the mains cable or the mains

■It is essential to follow the instructions in the “Cleaning and Stor-
age” chapter.
DANGER – Danger of Electric Shock!
■Use and store only in closed rooms.
■Do not use the device in rooms with high humidity.
■Never immerse the device or cable in water or other liquids. If the device falls into
water, turn off the power supply immediately.
■Should the device fall into water, switch off the power supply immediately. Do not
attempt to pull the device out of the water while it is still connected to the mains power!
■Never touch the device, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
WARNING – Danger of Injuries!
■Risk of suffocation! Keep children and animals away from the packaging material.
■Danger of strangulation! Make sure that the mains cable is always kept out of the
reach of small children and animals.
Danger of scalding from heat, hot steam or condensation!
■Be careful when you open the device. When the device is opened, hot steam can
escape. You should therefore keep your head and hands out of the danger zone.
We also recommend using oven cloths or kitchen gloves when you want to open
the glass door and remove food.
■Keep your hands and head away from the ventilation slots. Hot steam emerges
from the ventilation slots!
■Danger of falling! Make sure that the connected mains cable does not present a trip
hazard.
■The device must not be moved during operation.
WARNING – Danger of Fire!
■Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable substances or poisonous
and explosive fumes.
■Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material. Do not place any
combustible materials (e. g. cardboard, paper, wood or plastic) in or on the device.
■Make sure that foodstuffs containing oil and fats are not overheated so that they do
not catch fire.
■Food that is too large, metal foil packaging, or utensils may not be placed in the de-
vice as they may cause fire or electric shocks.
■Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire.

■Do not connect the device along with other consumers (with a high wattage) to a mul-
tiple socket in order to prevent overloading and a possible short circuit (fire).
■In the event of a fire: Do not extinguish with water! Smother the flames with a fireproof
blanket or a suitable fire extinguisher.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to Material and Property
■Always set up the device with a clear space on all sides (at least 20 cm) and clear
space above it (at least 30 cm) on a dry, flat, solid and heat-resistant surface.
■Only connect the device to a plug socket with safety contacts that is properly installed
and matches the technical data of the device. The plug socket must also be readily ac-
cessible after connection so that the connection to the mains can quickly be isolated.
■Only use suitable extension cables whose technical data is the same as that of the
device.
■The mains cable must not hang down from the surface on which the device is placed
in order to prevent the device from being pulled down.
■Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces. Do not wrap the mains cable around
the device (danger of the cable breaking).
■Protect the device from heat, naked flames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.
■Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer.
■Remove the mains plug from the plug socket if a fault occurs during operation or
before a thunderstorm.
■The device must be switched off when inserting or removing the mains plug.
■Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable. When you pull it out of the plug
socket, always pull on the mains plug and never the mains cable!
■Do not place or lay any heavy objects on the device or the mains cable.

Removal tool for removing the baking tray or grill rack.
Before Initial Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■The device has rubber feet. Some items of furniture are coated with materials which
could attack the rubber feet. If necessary, place a pad below the device for safety.
■Never remove the rating plate and any possible warnings!
1. Peel off any stickers and films from the device.
2. The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device and the accessories thoroughly before using them for the first time
(see the “Cleaning” chapter).
3. Place the device on a dry and heat-resistant flat surface at a safe distance from flam-
mable objects. Please make sure that the device is not accessible to children!
4. Plug the mains plug into a properly installed mains socket.
5. You should use the device for the first time without any food in it, as it may produce
a small amount of smoke or odours due to coating residues. Allow the device to heat
up for approx. 10 – 15 minutes without any food in it. During this time, make sure the
room is well ventilated, e.g. with wide-open windows! Also note the tips provided in the
“Use” chapter when putting the device into operation.
6. Then allow the device to cool down completely and clean the bowl again.
Use
PLEASE NOTE!
■Do not place food wrapped in cling film or plastic bags into the device.
■Do not place food containing fat or oil directly onto the rack so that the bottom heating
elements are not contaminated by fat/oil dripping down. Use the baking tray supplied
with the device!
■Make sure that the food does not come into contact with the heating elements of the
device.
■Always keep the glass door closed when the device is in use.
■Always place the hot baking tray or the hot rack down on a heat-resistant surface.
• Generally it is not necessary to preheat the device. However, for the
preparation of food which has to be ready “on the dot”, pre-heating is
recommended so that the exact time when the food has been cooked can
be determined.

• For the preparation of frozen items, please follow the time and temperature
specifications of the manufacturer.
1. Open the glass door (6).
2. As required, slide just the rack or the rack and the baking tray into the bottom, middle
or top rail.
3. Place the food onto the rack or baking tray.
4. Close the glass door.
5. Turn the temperature control dial TEMPERATUR (1) clockwise to set the temperature
you require.
6. Turn the operating switch (2) to set the desired function.
7. To start the baking process, turn the TIMER (3) clockwise to set the desired time
(maximum of 60 minutes). The control lamp (4) lights up after the time has been set
on the timer.
If the TIMER is set to AUS (off), the oven will not be switched on.
8. When the set time has elapsed, a buzzer is heard and the device automatically stops
any further supply of heat. Then turn all switches to AUS.
9. If you want to stop the baking process prematurely, turn the TIMER to the AUS
position to switch off the device. Then also turn all switches to AUS.
10. Open the glass door and carefully remove the baking tray or rack. A removal tool is
supplied with the device and makes it easier for you to remove the baking tray or the
rack.
11. Let the oven cool down.
Cleaning
PLEASE NOTE!
■Never spray cold water onto the glass door of the device during or immediately after
use. The glass might shatter.
■Do not spray cleaning agents directly onto the device. Do not use any glass cleaners.
■Do not use any caustic or abrasive cleaning agents for cleaning. These can damage
the surface. Do not use any metal objects.
1. Take all removable parts out of the device.
2. Clean all accessories with warm water and mild detergent. They are not dishwasher-
safe.
3. If you would like to clean the device housing (7) and the heating elements, wipe them
off with a clean damp cloth. You can also use a cleaning agent which is suitable for
ovens. Please follow the instructions on how to use the cleaning agent.
4. Allow all parts to dry completely before storing the device in a clean, dry place that is
inaccessible to children and animals.

Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself. If the problem cannot be solved with the steps that are listed, contact the cus-
tomer service department.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!

• Is the TIMER (3) switched on?
• Is the mains plug correctly inserted in the plug socket?
• Is the socket defective? Try another socket.
• Check the fuse of your mains connection.
The food does not cook.
• Use the TIMER to extend the baking time.
• If necessary, vary the top and bottom heat or increase
the temperature.
Development of odours
or smoke
• When the device is first used: Any coating residues that
may remain may result in a small amount of odour or
smoke development. This is normal. Allow the device
to heat up for about 15 minutes (see the “Before initial
use” chapter).
• The device has already been used: Is the interior of the
oven or are the heating elements dirty or contaminated?
Follow the instructions in the “Cleaning” chapter.
