• Das Gerät eignet sich zum Zerkleinern von Eiswürfeln aus Wasser, Saft und
Limonade.
• Das Gerät ist nicht zum Zerkleinern von gefrorenen Lebensmitteln geeignet!
• Das Gerät ist für den Privatgebrauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche Nutzung bestimmt.
• Das Gerät nur wie in der Anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede weitere Verwendung
gilt als bestimmungswidrig.
• Von der Gewährleistung ausgeschlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch unsachgemäße
Behandlung, Beschädigung oder Reparaturversuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für
den normalen Verschleiß.

Lesen Sie vor dem ersten Gebrauch des Gerätes die Anleitung sorgfältig durch und
bewahren Sie sie zum späteren Nachlesen auf. Bei Weitergabe des Gerätes ist auch
diese Anleitung mitzugeben.
Hersteller und Importeur übernehmen keine Haftung, wenn die Angaben in dieser
Anleitung nicht beachtet werden.

■Dieses Gerät darf nicht von Kindern benutzt werden. Kinder und
Tiere sind vom Gerät und Netzkabel fernzuhalten!
■Dieses Gerät kann von Personen mit reduzierten physischen,
sensorischen oder mentalen Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfah-
rung und/oder Wissen benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt
oder bezüglich des sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwie-
sen wurden und die daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden
haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■VORSICHT! Die Klinge in der Motoreinheit ist scharf! Vorsicht
im Umgang mit der Klinge.
■DasGerätistnichtdazubestimmt,miteinerexternenZeitschaltuhr
oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu werden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht und vor dem

■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Wenn die
Motoreinheit, das Zubehör, das Netzkabel oder der Netzstecker
sichtbare Schäden aufweisen, darf das Gerät nicht benutzt
werden. Nicht versuchen, das Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren
oder das Netzkabel bzw. den Netzstecker zu ersetzen.
Reparaturen ausschließlich in einer Fachwerkstatt durchführen
lassen! In Schadensfällen den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
Verletzungsgefahr
■Erstickungsgefahr durch Plastikfolien und -beutel! Kinder und Tiere vom Ver-
packungsmaterial fernhalten.
■Verletzungsgefahr durch drehende Geräteteile! Kleidung, Schmuck, Haare und
andere Körperteile vom Gerät fernhalten, damit sich nichts in drehenden Geräte-
teilen verfangen kann.
■Das angeschlossene Netzkabel darf keine Stolpergefahr darstellen. Das Netzkabel
nicht unbeaufsichtigt vom Tisch o.Ä. hängen lassen, wenn Kinder oder Tiere in der
Nähe sind. Sie könnten das Gerät daran herunterziehen.
Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschriftsmäßig installierte Steckdose mit Schutzkontakten
anschließen. Die Steckdose muss auch nach dem Anschließen gut zugänglich sein,
damit die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt werden kann. Die Netzspannung muss
mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmen.

■Darauf achten, dass das Netzkabel nicht gequetscht, geknickt oder über scharfe
Kanten gelegt wird und nicht mit heißen Flächen in Berührung kommt.
■Niemals das Netzkabel um das Gerät wickeln.
■Niemals das Gerät am Netzkabel ziehen oder tragen.
■Die Motoreinheit, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder an-
dere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen und sicherstellen, dass diese nicht ins Wasser fallen
oder nass werden können.
■Sollte die Motoreinheit ins Wasser fallen oder Flüssigkeit hineingelangen, sofort die
Stromzufuhr unterbrechen. Keinesfalls versuchen, die Motoreinheit aus dem Was-
ser zu ziehen, während sie am Stromnetz angeschlossen ist! Vor einer erneuten
Inbetriebnahme das Gerät in einer Fachwerkstatt prüfen lassen.
■Die Motoreinheit, das Netzkabel und den Netzstecker niemals mit feuchten Händen
berühren, wenn diese Komponenten an das Stromnetz angeschlossen sind.
■Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen, wenn wäh-
rend des Betriebes ein Fehler auftritt oder vor einem Gewitter.
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räumen verwenden.
■Das Gerät nicht in einer sehr feuchten Umgebung betreiben.
Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen verwenden, in denen sich leichtentzündlicher Staub
oder giftige sowie explosive Dämpfe befinden.
■Das Gerät während des Betriebs nicht abdecken, um einen Gerätebrand zu
vermeiden.
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von brennbarem Material betreiben.
Vermeiden von Material-, Sach- und Geräteschäden
■Das Gerät immer auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und feuchtigkeitsunempfind-
lichen Untergrund stellen.
■Das Gerät vor Hitze, offenem Feuer, extremen Temperaturen, lang anhaltender
Feuchtigkeit, Nässe und Stößen schützen.
■Ausschließlich die mitgelieferten Zubehörteile vom Hersteller verwenden!
■Zum Reinigen des Gerätes keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel ver-
wenden. Diese können die Oberfläche beschädigen.
Hygienehinweise
■Das Gerät kann mit Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesundheitliche
Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, gründlich vor dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen
(siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“).
■Das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile sofort nach jedem Gebrauch gründlich reinigen, um
Keimbildung vorzubeugen.

Vor dem ersten Gebrauch
ACHTUNG!
■Erstickungsgefahr durch Plastikfolien und -beutel! Kinder und Tiere vom Ver-
packungsmaterial fernhalten.
■VORSICHT! Die Klinge in der Motoreinheit ist scharf! Vorsicht im Umgang mit der
Klinge.
• Den Lieferumfang auspacken und auf Vollständigkeit (siehe Kapitel „Lieferumfang
und Geräteübersicht“) und Transportschäden überprüfen. Falls die Motoreinheit,
der Netzstecker, das Netzkabel oder das Zubehör Schäden aufweisen sollte, das
Gerät nicht (!) verwenden, sondern den Kundenservice kontaktieren.
• Vor der Benutzung des Gerätes sämtliches Verpackungsmaterial sowie eventuell
vorhandene Etiketten, die sich am Gerät befinden und zum Transportschutz bzw.
zur Werbung dienen, entfernen.
• Das Gerät kann mit Produktionsrückständen behaftet sein. Um gesundheitliche
Beeinträchtigungen zu vermeiden, gründlich vor dem ersten Gebrauch reinigen
(siehe „Reinigung und Aufbewahrung“).

Benutzung
ACHTUNG!
■VORSICHT! Die Klinge in der Motoreinheit ist scharf! Vorsicht im Umgang mit der
Klinge.
■Verletzungsgefahr durch drehende Geräteteile! Kleidung, Schmuck, Haare und
andere Körperteile vom Gerät fernhalten, damit sich nichts in drehenden Geräte-
teilen verfangen kann.
■Vor dem Abnehmen und / oder Aufsetzen von Zubehörteilen, immer den Netzstecker
aus der Steckdose ziehen.
■Den Eiswürfeleinsatz nicht überfüllen.
■Während des Betriebes auf die Standfestigkeit des Gerätes achten.
■Das Gerät darf im eingeschalteten Zustand nicht bewegt oder transportiert werden.
Die Eiswürfel sollten direkt nach dem Herausnehmen aus dem Gefrierfach verar-
beitet werden. Sind die Eiswürfel bereits angeschmolzen, kann die Funktionswei-
se beeinträchtigt werden.
1. Die Motoreinheit (1) auf einen trockenen, ebenen, festen und feuchtigkeitsunemp-
findlichen Untergrund stellen.
2. Das Gerät zusammenbauen:
–Den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) in die Motoreinheit (1) einsetzen. Darauf achten, dass
dieser korrekt auf der Aufnahme sitzt.
–Die Feststellschraube (6) in die Öffnung der Aufnahme einsetzen und bis
zum Anschlag im Uhrzeigersinn drehen, um den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) in der
Motoreinheit (1) zu fixieren.
3. Ein geeignetes Gefäß auf die Ablage (2) der Motoreinheit (1) stellen.
4. Das Einstellrad SNOW / SLUSH (3) auf die gewünschte Position stellen.
5. Das Gerät an eine Steckdose anschließen, die ordnungsgemäß installiert ist und
mit den technischen Daten des Gerätes übereinstimmt (siehe Kapitel „Technische
Daten“).
6. Etwa 10 Eiswürfel in den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) einfüllen.
7. Den Schutzdeckel (4) auf die Motoreinheit (1) aufsetzen. Dabei darauf achten, dass
die Rastnasen in den dafür vorgesehenen Aussparungen liegen.
8. Den Schutzdeckel (4) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn festdrehen. Er muss hör- und
spürbar einrasten. Das Gerät schaltet sich ein. Durch die Drehbewegung werden
die Eiswürfel zerkleinert.
9. Den Schutzdeckel (4) im Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen. Das Gerät schaltet sich aus.
10. Den Schutzdeckel (4) abnehmen und die Schritte 6 bis 9 wiederholen, bis die
gewünschte Menge Eis zerkleinert wurde. Das Gefäß mit dem zerkleinerten Eis
entnehmen.
11. Den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose ziehen.
Sollte ein Eiswürfel stecken bleiben, das Gerät ausschalten und vom Stromnetz
trennen. Ein leeres Gefäß unterstellen und die Blockade mit warmem Wasser
auflösen. Anschließend alles gründlich abtrocknen (siehe Kapitel „Reinigung und
Aufbewahrung“).

Reinigung und Aufbewahrung
ACHTUNG!
■Vor jeder Reinigung das Gerät ausschalten und den Netzstecker aus der Steckdose
ziehen! Warten bis der Motor zum Stillstand gekommen ist, bevor das Gerät
auseinandergenommen und gereinigt wird.
■Die Motoreinheit, das Netzkabel oder den Netzstecker niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen!
■VORSICHT! Die Klinge in der Motoreinheit ist scharf! Vorsicht im Umgang mit der
Klinge.
■Das Gerät sofort nach jedem Gebrauch gründlich reinigen, um Keimbildung
vorzubeugen.
■Die Motoreinheit eignet sich nicht zur Reinigung in der Spülmaschine!
■Zum Reinigen keine ätzenden oder scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder Reinigungs-
pads verwenden. Diese können die Oberfläche beschädigen.
• Das Gerät auseinandernehmen:
–Den Schutzdeckel (4) ggf. abnehmen.
–Die Feststellschraube (6) gegen den Uhrzeigersinn aufdrehen und abnehmen.
–Den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) aus der Motoreinheit (1) herausnehmen.
• Ein leeres Gefäß auf die Ablage (2) stellen und vorsichtig heißes Wasser in die Aus-
sparung der Motoreinheit (1) für den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) gießen. ACHTUNG! Die
Motoreinheit nicht unter fließendes Wasser halten! Das Wasser mithilfe eines
Gefäßes in die Aussparung der Motoreinheit (1) gießen.
• Bei Bedarf die Aussparung der Motoreinheit (1) für den Eiswürfeleinsatz (5) mit ei-
nem feuchten Tuch und ggf. etwas mildem Spülmittel reinigen. Anschließend gründ-
lich abtrocknen. VORSICHT! Scharfe Klinge! Immer gegen den Uhrzeigersinn
wischen, um sich nicht an der Klinge zu verletzen.
• Alle Zubehörteile mit klarem, warmem Wasser und etwas mildem Spülmittel oder in
der Spülmaschine reinigen.
• Das Gehäuse mit einem leicht feuchten Tuch abwischen und anschließend gründlich
abtrocknen.
• Alle Teile vollständig trocknen lassen, bevor das Gerät wieder zusammengebaut
und/ oder verstaut wird.
• Das Gerät und alle Zubehörteile an einem trockenen, sauberen und für Kinder und
Tiere unzugänglichen Ort aufbewahren.

Fehlerbehebung
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Problem selbst
behoben werden kann.
Nicht versuchen, ein defektes elektrisches Gerät eigenständig zu reparieren!
Sollte sich das Gerät nicht einschalten lassen, Folgendes überprüfen:
• Steckt der Netzstecker richtig in der Steckdose? Den Sitz des Netzsteckers korri-
gieren.
• Ist die Steckdose defekt? Andere Steckdose ausprobieren.
• Die Sicherung des Netzanschlusses überprüfen.
• Ist der Schutzdeckel (4) korrekt verschlossen? Den Schutzdeckel (4) bis zum An-
schlag gegen den Uhrzeigersinn drehen.

Safety Instructions
■This device must not be used by children. Children and animals
must be kept away from the device and mains cable!
■This device may be used by people with reduced physical, sen-
sory or mental abilities or a lack of experience and / or knowl-
edge if they are supervised or have received instruction on how
to use the device safely and have understood the dangers re-
sulting from this.
■Children must not play with the device.
■CAUTION! The blade in the motor unit is sharp! Be careful when
handling the blade.
■The device is not designed to be operated with an external timer
or a separate remote control system.
■The device must always be disconnected from the mains power
when it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning the device.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. If the motor unit,
the accessories, the mains cable or the mains plug show visible
signs of damage, the device must not be used. Do not try to
repair the device yourself or to replace the mains cable or mains
plug. Have the repairs performed only in a specialist workshop!

Danger of Injury
■Danger of suffocation from plastic films and bags! Keep children and animals
away from the packaging material.
■Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair and
other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
■The connected mains cable must not present a trip hazard. Do not leave the mains
cable unattended while hanging down from the table or other surface if there are chil-
dren or animals in its vicinity. Otherwise they might use the cable to pull the device
down on themselves.

Danger of Electric Shock
■The device should only be connected to a properly installed socket with safety con-
tacts. The socket must also be readily accessible after connection so that the connec-
tion to the mains can quickly be isolated. The mains voltage must match the technical
data of the device.
■Make sure that the mains cable is not squashed, bent or laid over sharp edges and
does not come into contact with hot surfaces.
■Never wind the mains cable around the device.
■Never pull or carry the device by the mains cable.
■Never immerse the motor unit, mains cable or mains plug in water or other liquids and
ensure that they cannot fall into water or become wet.
■Should the motor unit fall into water or liquid get inside it, switch off the power supply
immediately. Never attempt to pull the motor unit out of the water while it is still con-
nected to the mains power! Have the device checked in a specialist workshop before
using it again.
■Never touch the motor unit, mains cable or mains plug with wet hands when these
components are connected to the mains power.
■Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket if an error occurs
during operation or before a thunderstorm.
■Use the device only in closed rooms.
■Do not operate the device in a very damp environment.
Danger of Fire
■Do not use the device in rooms containing easily ignitable dust or poisonous and
explosive fumes.
■Do not cover the device during operation in order to prevent it from catching fire.
■Do not operate the device in the vicinity of combustible material.
Avoiding Damage to Material, Property and the Device
■Always place the device on a dry, even, firm and moisture-resistant surface.
■Protect the device from heat, naked flames, extreme temperatures, persistent mois-
ture, wet conditions and collisions.
■Only the accessory parts supplied by the manufacturer should be used!
■Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents to clean the device. These can
damage the surface.
Notes on Hygiene
■The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the device thoroughly before you first use it (see the “Cleaning and Storage”
chapter).
■Thoroughly clean the device and all accessories immediately after each use to
prevent germ formation.

• Unpack the items supplied and check them for completeness (see the “Items Sup-
plied and Device Overview” chapter) and possible transport damage. If the motor
unit, the mains plug, the mains cable or the accessories do have damage, do not (!)
use the device, but contact our customer service department.
• Before using the device, remove all packaging materials and any labels that may be
on the device and are used for protection during transportation or for advertising.
• The device may contain production residues. To avoid harmful effects to your health,
clean the article thoroughly before you first use it (see “Cleaning and Storage”).

Use
CAUTION!
■CAUTION! The blade in the motor unit is sharp! Be careful when handling the blade.
■Danger of injury due to rotating device parts! Keep clothing, jewellery, hair and
other body parts away from the device so that nothing can get caught in rotating
device parts.
■Always remove the mains plug from the plug socket before removing and / or
attaching accessories.
■Do not overfill the ice cube insert.
■Make sure that the device remains stable during operation.
■The device must not be moved or transported while it is switched on.
The ice cubes should be processed immediately after they are removed from the
freezer. If the ice cubes have already started to melt, this may impair the way the
device works.
1. Place the motor unit (1) on a dry, even, firm and moisture-resistant surface.
2. Assemble the device:
–Insert the ice cube insert (5) into the motor unit (1). Make sure that it is seated
correctly on the mount.
–Insert the locking screw (6) into the opening of the mount and rotate it as far as it
will go clockwise in order to fix the ice cube insert (5) in place in the motor unit (1).
3. Place a suitable vessel on the tray (2) of the motor unit (1).
4. Move the SNOW / SLUSH dial (3) to the position you want.
5. Connect the device to a plug socket that is properly installed and matches the
technical data of the device (see the “Technical Data” chapter).
6. Place roughly 10 ice cubes into the ice cube insert (5).
7. Place the protective lid (4) onto the motor unit (1). When you do this, make sure that
the locking lugs sit in the recesses which are provided for them.
8. Turn the protective lid (4) anticlockwise to secure it in place. You must hear and feel
it engage. The device switches on. The rotary movement causes the ice cubes to be
crushed.
9. Untwist the protective lid (4) clockwise. The device switches off.
10. Remove the protective lid (4) and repeat steps 6 to 9 until the amount of ice you want
has been crushed. Remove the vessel containing the crushed ice.
11. Remove the mains plug from the plug socket.
If an ice cube gets stuck, switch off the device and disconnect it from the mains.
Place an empty vessel underneath and use warm water to clear the blockage.
Then allow everything to dry thoroughly (see the “Cleaning and Storage” chapter).

Cleaning and Storage
CAUTION!
■Switch off the device and pull the mains plug out of the plug socket before doing
any cleaning! Wait until the motor has come to a standstill before taking apart and
cleaning the device.
■Never immerse the motor unit, the mains cable or the mains plug in water or other
liquids!
■CAUTION! The blade in the motor unit is sharp! Be careful when handling the blade.
■Clean the device thoroughly immediately after every use to prevent the formation of
germs.
■The motor unit is not suitable for being cleaned in the dishwasher!
■Do not use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents or cleaning pads to clean the
device. These can damage the surface.
• Take the device apart:
–Remove the protective lid (4) if necessary.
–Unscrew the locking screw (6) anticlockwise and remove it.
–Remove the ice cube insert (5) from the motor unit (1).
• Place an empty vessel on the shelf (2) and carefully pour hot water into the recess in

CAUTION! Sharp blade! Always wipe in the anticlockwise direction so that you

• Clean all accessories with clear, warm water and a little mild detergent or in the

If the device does not work properly, check whether you are able to rectify the problem
yourself.
Do not attempt to repair a defective electrical device yourself!
If the device will not switch on, check the following:
• Is the mains plug inserted in the plug socket correctly? Correct the fit of the mains

Risque d’électrocution
■Branchez l’appareil uniquement sur une prise installée de façon réglementaire et
mise à la terre. La prise doit rester facilement accessible même après le branche-
ment de sorte à pouvoir rapidement couper l’alimentation de l’appareil. La tension du
secteur doit correspondre aux caractéristiques techniques de l’appareil.
■Veillez à ce que le cordon d’alimentation ne soit ni pincé, ni coincé, ni posé sur des
bords saillants et qu’il n’entre pas en contact avec des surfaces chaudes.
■N’enroulez jamais le cordon d’alimentation autour de l’appareil.
■Ne tirez pas et ne portez jamais l’appareil par son cordon d’alimentation.
■Ne plongez jamais le corps de l’appareil, le cordon d’alimentation et la fiche secteur
dans l’eau ou tout autre liquide et assurez-vous qu’ils ne risquent pas de tomber dans
l’eau ou d’être mouillés.
■Si le corps de l’appareil devait tomber à l’eau ou du liquide pénétrer en son sein,
coupez immédiatement l’alimentation électrique. N’essayez en aucun cas d’extraire
