androtatetheminto

blindnutsfirmly,which havebeeninstalled
in thelanding
gear
olate.
Note:Usethreadlock
whenattachingallnutstobolts
duringassembly.

wheeltosee
if it iscenteredin
thewheel
pant
without
rubbing.

UseaHobby
knifetotrim
offthe coveringfromthestabilizercenter
sectionas
peryour
mark.

O Put the elevatorconnectorinto the slot beforeinstalline
horizontal
stabilizer.
O Insertthehorizontal
stabilizerintothefuselage
slot.
Adjustit
to be symmetricand equidistantfrom the left to right,
perpendicular
tothefuselageand
parallel
tothe
wings.
o Applyepoxy
glue
tosecurethestabilizer.
O Slidethe hingesinto the factory
pre-cut
hingeslots in the
elevatorandthenapplythin

to
securestabilizer.
a Insertthe elevatorsconnectorfor the elevatorhalves.Each
hingemustbeinsertedtotheirrespectivehinge
slot
inthestabili-
zer.Securethe
elevatorconnector
prior
to
gluing
thehinges.
NOTE: Bevery
careful
notto cutor scorethebalsa
underneathasthismightcausestructuralfailurein
flight.
O Adjust
the
gap
betweenthetwoelevatorsandthehorizontal
stabilizer.Move theelevatorsuo anddownto obtainsufficient
deflection.
o Onceyou are satisfiedwith
controlsurfacewithCAslue. the deflection,secure
