mouse control tablet that gives the instructor max-
imum interaction with their audience by allow-

The AirSlate 1B by Dukane communicates with the computer
through a wireless Bluetooth interface. It operates with a comput-
er which has built-in Bluetooth capability or via a small Bluetooth
receiver (dongle) plugged into a USB port. AirSlate 1B allows
you to navigate your computer while roaming the conference
room or classroom. Presenters and teachers no longer need to
stay rooted to one place – behind a lectern or in front of the class.
AirSlate 1B breaks the chains with innovative Bluetooth tech-
nology. Cable-free mobility is yours!
With the AirSlate 1B an instructor can remotely control via the
cursor, any program on the computer such as Microsoft® Word,
Excell, PowerPoint, etc. along with web browsers and other ap-
plications. The Slate can also be used to annotate by a virtual
pencil, brush, or highlighter on any application that is visible on
the PC monitor or screen.
Three annotation (inking) programs provide various levels of an-
notation functionality from the very simple to the ability to record
and replay a time record of the annotation strokes. All this can
be done with the user selecting colors, line widths, and back-
grounds.
Also included is educational software called Easiteach.™ It is a
classroom program used by teachers and easily controlled by
this interactive slate. It helps students master subjects by creating
extremely engaging lessons. Test scores have been shown to in-
crease when using Easiteach.
The software also includes a library of clip art images and back-
grounds that can be easily dragged onto the active window.
Interactive games and lessons provide a fast and simple way for
a teacher to work with students.
