2.1 Product information
MyAirProtector GmbH hereby declares that the TRAVELMAP30 complies with the
directive VDI 6022 2014/53/EU. The device also meets the requirements of the following
EU directive: RoHS 2011/65/EU.
In order to maintain this condition and ensure safe operation, please refer to this
operating instructions as a user! Read the complete operating instructions before
commissioning the product and observe all operating and safety instructions!

2.2 Disclaimer of liability
This instruction manual has been created with the utmost care. Should you nevertheless
notice any omissions or inaccuracies, please inform us in writing at the address given
above. MyAirProtector GmbH assumes no liability for technical and typographical errors
and reserves the right to make changes to the product and the operating instructions at
any time without prior notice. MyAirProtector GmbH is not liable or responsible for
personal injury, property damage or damage to the device as well as direct and indirect
consequential damages that arise or have arisen in connection with repairs and other
actions of unqualified electricians. It is strictly forbidden to make technical changes to
the device on your own.
MyAirProtector GmbH assumes no liability or guarantee for the accuracy, currentness
and completeness of the information in this document.
2.3 Warranty
We grant a 2-year warranty on this device from the date of purchase.
We grant aof 6 months on the battery from the date of purchase. Each device is
carefully produced in Germany and subjected to a diligent final inspection at
MyAirProtector GmbH.
Damage caused by improper handling is not covered by the warranty.
In the event of damage, please contact the respective seller via the respective service
telephone and have the proof of purchase / invoice ready. In case of doubt, please
contact our service center directly. This is the only way to ensure a smooth return of
your device. Warranty can only be granted for material and production defects, but not
for transport damage, wear parts, such as for example lamps, or damage to fragile
parts, for example switches or lamps.
It is prohibited to open the device and make technical changes on your own.
The fittings are covered with silicone seals, if these seals are damaged the
warranty expires immediately.

Information
Excluded from the warranty:
Visible damage such as scratches, broken parts,
stains/discolorations or other damages or defects caused
by misuse, neglect, vandalism, alteration or failure to heed
the instructions for use.
Use of non-original parts.
Damage caused by the falling of the product or by
incorrect transport, incorrect packing or incorrect storage.
Repair by an unauthorized third party.

3 Basic safety instructions
3.1 Warnings and symbols
In the operating instructions the following terms or symbols are used for
particularly important information:
Information
Special information on the operation of the product, for
example to avoid malfunctions.
Hint
Special information, for example regarding the economical use
of the product.
Attention
Special information or imperatives and prohibitions for damage
prevention.
Warning
Information or imperatives and prohibitions for the prevention of
personal injury or extensive property damage.
Danger
Information on special hazards that are imminent in the event of
non-compliance with the hazard statement.

3.2 Intended use
Attention
After receiving the package, check it for packaging damage and
record it accordingly. In case of severe damage to the packaging,
the shipment should be rejected. A damaged device must not be
put into operation.
The product is designed for the purpose of cleaning or disinfecting the ambient air,
especially for poorly or unventilated interiors. The use of the product minimizes the risk
of infection, especially in the case of virus- or bacteria-based infections.
However, infection cannot be ruled out. In particular, if the user of the device does not
comply with official hygiene regulations, recommendations, ordinances, laws or binding
instructions, such as compliance with minimum distance rules and mouth and nose
covering. For an optimal effect, the devices should be spaced out evenly.
Attention
Do not cover air vents!
Observe the manufacturer's installation recommendation!
Always place the device on the holder supplied by the
manufacturer!
The intended use includes the observance of the operating instructions, in
particular the safety instructions and compliance with the inspection and
maintenance instructions.
Information
This product is not a medical device according to the Medical
Devices Act –MPBetreibV, and it is not subject to its restrictions.

3.3 Organizational measures
Before commissioning the device, read and observe the operating instructions
and safety instructions.
The operating instructions must be kept at hand in printed or digital form at all
times at the place of use the device.
In addition to the operating instructions, the generally applicable, legal and other binding
regulations on accident prevention and environmental protection must be observed and
instructed.
Keep the device away from children under 6 years of age.
3.4 Safety instructions for specific operating phases
Operate the device only if all guards and safety-related devices, for example
detachable protective covers, are in place and functional.
Attention
This is especially true for the housing shells and the filter
cover. In case of damage immediately stop using the device!
Eliminate disruptions that may affect safety immediately.
Carry out prescribed adjustment, maintenance and inspection work on time.
Danger
UV-C radiation is dangerous for eyes and skin. The
removal of the shields is not permitted.
If the power cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer.
Do not immerse the device in liquids or put it into operation
while wet.

3.4.1 Safety instructions for devices with batteries
Warning
Products with an integrated battery and the battery itself are not
protected against all environmental influences. If a product with
an integrated battery is exposed to certain environmental
influences, it could be damaged.
Keep a battery or product with an integrated batterydry
and clean.
Protect a battery or product with an integrated battery
from moisture, do not expose to water and rain and do
not immerse yourself in liquids.
Keep the battery or the device with an integrated battery
within the permissible temperature range.Protect a
battery or product with an integrated battery
from heat.
Do not throw a battery or product with an integrated
batteryinto a fire, do not put it near a fire.
If there are signs of heat, smoke, smell,noise or
deformation immediatelyturn off the device and keep a
safe distance from it.
Batteries or products with an integrated battery are safe to use when used properly
under the parameters specified by the manufacturer.
Improper handling or circumstances that do not correspond to the proper purpose may
lead to insufficient tightness and leakage of battery ingredients and decomposition
products.
Batteries and products with integrated battery units can react strongly, for example in
combination with fire. In the event of contact with leaked ingredients, a risk to health and
the environment must be assumed. In case of contact with batteries that are damaged,
deformated or the like, respiratory protection and body protection is mandatory.
Batteries or products with integrated batteries must be treated under all circumstances
in accordance with the manufacturer's instructions.
This applies in particular to compliance with the limits for thermal loads during storage
and transport.
Permissible temperature range for operation,
Transport and store - 10°C to +40°C (14°F to +104°F).

3.4.2 Information on storage and transport for devices with batteries
Devices with a built-in lithium-ion battery are classified as:
UN 3481 Lithium-ion batteries contained in equipment
The following rules apply to specific modes of transport:
Road transport in Europe: ADR
Rail transport in Europe: RID
Carriage by inland waterway vessels in Europe: ADN
Air transport worldwide: ICAO-TI / IATA-DGR
Maritime transport worldwide: IMDG code
The transport regulations for other countries can be obtained from the relevant
authorities for road, rail and inland waterway transport.
Private individuals are exempt from the transport regulations in the legal area of the
ADR.
However, the following criteria must be met:
The goods are intended for personal or domestic use or for leisure or sports.
The goods are packaged for retail use.
The cargo is sufficiently secured.
Carriage on an aircraft as hand baggage or checked baggage must be agreed with the
selected airline. Different regulations apply.
The device must not be permanently exposed to high temperatures.

3.4.3 Filter replacement
Caution: Observe hygiene measures after replacing the filter!
Wear gloves.
Don't touch your face with your hands.
Wash your hands.
During operation observe the nationally applicable safety regulations. In the Federal
Republic of Germany the guidelines of the Employers' Liability Insurance Association
must be observed. For other countries, the national safety regulations must be
observed.

4.3 Mounting options
4.3.1 With suction cups in vertical or horizontal orientation.
Screw the supplied suction cups (item 6) into the M4 threads.
Hint
With this type of fastening make sure that the surface is
smooth and clean.
4.3.2 With magnetic feet in vertical or horizontal orientation.
Screw the supplied magnetic feet (item 7) into the M4 threads.

4.3.3 With carrying strap over mounting eyelet.
Thread the carrying strap (item 8) or similar inon the
eyelet and hang up the device anywhere you like.

4.3.4 Attach to steel plate with magnetic feet.
Application in cars
Insert the optional steel plate (item 9) in the back pocket of a car seat and attach the
device with the supplied magnetic feet.
