IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Read all the instructions through before starting
to use the convector. Keep this user’s manual
safely for future reference.
1. Install the convector in a place that is
inaccessible to children.
2. Do not operate the convector outdoors.
3. Place the convector on a firm, even surface.
Make sure the convector is standing
securely so that it cannot tip over all fall off.
The convector should only be operated in
an upright position and after the feet have
been mounted.
4. Unwind the power cable (15) completely. If
the power cable (15) is not completely
unwound it could cause overheating or
a fire.
5. Do not use an extension cable or an
infinitely variable speed regulator, as this
could lead to overheating, a fire or an
electric shock.
6. The convector must only be connected to a
single-phase socket with the voltage as
stated on the type plate of the convector.
7. Always disconnect the plug (15) from the
power socket when the convector is not in
use, or when it is handled, moved or cleaned.
Do not tug at the cable to disconnect the power
plug (15). When transporting the convector
always use the transport grips (17) located
at the sides of the convector.
8. Do not operate the convector anywhere
near easily inflammable gases or substances
such as solvents, varnishes, glues etc.
9. Do not install the convector directly beneath
a power socket.
10. Do not use the convector anywhere near a
bathtub, a shower or a swimming pool.
11. Do not use the convector in any kind of
transport vehicle, e.g. a construction
vehicle, elevator, lift, caravan, automobile,
cubicle, or similar enclosed space.
12. Warning: The convector gets hot during use.
Burnable materials such as cushions, duvets,
bedding, furnishings, paper, curtains, and
clothing must be kept at least 100cm away
from the convector and at least 50cm away
from all walls.
13. Keep the convector clean. Before operating
the convector, make sure that all air intake
vents (14) and air exhaust vents (2) are
open. No objects must be allowed to get
into the air intake vents (14) or air exhaust
vents (2). Do not cover the convector as this
could lead to overheating, fire or an electric
shock.
14. Do not immerse the convector in water or
any other liquid and do not spill water or
any other liquid onto the appliance or into
the air intake (14) or air exhaust (2) vents.
15. Clean the convector regularly according to
the cleaning instructions.
16. If the power cable (15) of the convector is
damaged, it must be repaired by a work-
shop approved by the manufacturers, as
special tools are needed.
17. Do not operate the convector if it is
damaged or shows any signs of damage,
or if it is not functioning properly.
Disconnect the power plug (15) from the
power supply.

4. Fix the two feet (16) on both ends of the
base of the convector. Adjust the feet (16)
so that the plastic pegs on the upper sides
are pushed into the special cavities on the
base of the convector. Now screw the feet
(16) on tightly with wing bolts. Make sure
that the feet (16) are firmly fixed to the
convector. (Fig. 1)
5. Place the convector upright on a firm, even
surface. Make sure it is standing safely, so
that it cannot tip over or fall off. A safely
distance of 100cm from other objects must
be observed.
USER’S MANUAL
CZ-700E Convector with power switch and
rotary thermostat switch
CZ-700FE Convector with turbo-fan, power
switches and rotary thermostat switch
1. Make sure that the power switches (3 + 4)
are in the OFF position (5). Insert the plug
(15) into the wall socket. Do not touch the
power cable with wet hands.
2. Make sure that the air intake vents (14)
and air exhaust vents (2) are not blocked.
The air intake vents (14) and air exhaust
vents (2) must always be free during the
heating operation.
3. Use the power switches (3), the rotary
thermostat switch (10) and /or the turbo-fan
(4) for the heating operation, according to
the model and the operating instructions.
4. When the convector is not in use, or when
it is moved, cleaned or stored away, switch
all power switches (3 + 4) to the OFF
position (5) and disconnect the plug (15)
from the power socket. Always use the
transport grips (17) at the sides of the
convector for transport purposes.
Power switches and rotary thermostat
switch
1. By pressing the power switches (3 + 4)
you can choose between four settings:
0 OFF (5)
I Warm air 800 Watt (6)
II Warm air 1200 Watt (7)
III Hot air 2000 Watt (8)
2. Turn the rotary thermostat switch (10) in a
clockwise direction to the highest position.
The power lamps (18) of the power
switches (3) in use light up.
3. When the desired room temperature has
been reached, turn the rotary thermostat
switch (10) in an anti-clockwise direction
until you hear a clicking noise. The
convector has now switched off the heating
operation.
4. Now turn the rotary thermostat switch (10)
only slightly back in a clockwise direction.
The convector will now automatically switch
the heating function on and off and thus
maintain the desired room temperature. The
power lamps (18) will be switched on and
off accordingly.
5. The further you turn the rotary thermostat
switch (10) in a clockwise direction, the
higher the heating temperature will be.
6. When the thermostat is set at the lowest
temperature (11) and at least one of the
power switches (3) is switched on, the
convector starts heating, as soon as the
room temperature drops to below + 5 °C.
The convector will then continue the
heating operation until the room
temperature has risen above + 5 °C.
7. When the rotary thermostat switch (10) is
set at the highest position (12), you cannot
turn it further in a clockwise direction. It
can then only be turned back in an
anti-clockwise direction.
Turbo-Fan (nur CZ-700FE)
1. Start operating the convector as described
in Points 1 and 2 of „Power switches and
rotary thermostat switch “.
2. Switch the turbo-fan on with the power
switch (4). The power lamp (18) lights up.
3. Now continue as described from Point 3
onwards of „Power switches and rotary
thermostat switch“.
4. If you wish to heat without the turbo-fan,
switch the power switch for the turbo fan
(4) to the OFF position (5).
Overheating protection
1. The convector is equipped with overheating
protection, which switches off the convector
automatically if it overheats.
