Für Schäden, die durch Missachtung der Sicherheitshinweise und unsachgemäßen Gebrauch entstehen,
übernehmen wir keine Haftung.
Sicherheitshinweise
• Bitte entfernen Sie keine der Abdeckungen. Das Gerät enthält Teile, die dem Benutzer nicht zugäng-
lich sind.
• Stellen Sie keine mit Flüssigkeiten gefüllten Gefäße, wie Vasen, auf dem Gerät ab.
• Lassen Sie keine Gegenstände aus Metall auf dieses Gerät fallen.
• Benutzen Sie nur Zubehör und Anbauteile, die vom Hersteller zugelassen sind.
• Lassen Sie Reparaturen nur von qualifi zierten Fachkräften durchführen.
• Eine Reparatur ist dann erforderlich, wenn das Gerät auf irgendeine Weise beschädigt wurde, das

Kleine Objekte / Verpackungsteile
Bewahren Sie kleine Objekte (z.B. Schrauben und anderes Montagematerial) und Verpackungsteile au-
ßerhalb der Reichweite von Kindern auf, damit sie nicht von diesen verschluckt werden können. Lassen
Sie kleine Kinder nicht mit Folie spielen. Es besteht Erstickungsgefahr!
Aufstellung
• Stellen Sie das Gerät nicht auf andere Geräte, die heiß werden können. Diese Hitze könnte das Gerät
beschädigen.
• Stellen Sie das Gerät auf eine trockene, ebene, wasserfeste und hitzebeständige Oberfl äche.
• Setzen Sie dieses Gerät keinem direkten Sonnenlicht, hohen Temperaturen, starker Feuchtigkeit und
übermäßigen Erschütterungen aus.
Transport des Gerätes
Bitte bewahren Sie die Originalverpackung auf. Um einen ausreichenden Schutz beim Transport des Ge-
rätes zu erreichen, verpacken Sie das Gerät in der Originalverpackung.
Reinigung der äußeren Oberfl äche
Verwenden Sie keine fl üchtigen Flüssigkeiten, wie Insektensprays. Durch zu starken Druck beim Ab-
wischen können die Oberfl ächen beschädigt werden. Gummi- oder Plastikteile sollten nicht über einen
längeren Zeitraum mit dem Gerät in Kontakt sein.
Netzadapter
• Der Netzadapter kann mit Wechselstrom von 220 - 240 V betrieben werden.
• Verwenden Sie aber einen geeigneten Steckadapter, wenn der Stecker nicht in die Netzsteckdose
passt.

Gerätenutzung
Netzbetrieb
• Schließen Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe des mitgelieferten AC/DC-Adapters und der Stromanschlussbuchse
(19) an das Stromnetz.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät mit Hilfe der An/Aus-Taste(5) ein. Das LCD-Display leuchtet auch und das

Gerät ist betriebsbereit.
Akkubetrieb
• Bevor Sie die Batterien einsetzen, vergewissern Sie sich, dass das Gerät vom Netzteil getrennt ist.
• Für den Batteriebetrieb setzen Sie bitte 8 Batterien vom Typ „C“ (UM-2) in das Batteriefach ein - ent-
sprechend der Beschriftung auf dem Gerät.
Radio- und DAB-Funktionen
Sendersuche
• Schalten Sie das Gerät ein und drücken Sie die Funktionswahl-Taste (3), um den „FM“-Modus aufzu-
rufen.
• Stellen Sie mithilfe der Pfeiltasten (6, 7) den gewünschten Radiosender ein.
• Halten Sie / gedrückt, um einen automatischen Sendersuchlauf auszulösen. Das Gerät
wird nach dem nächsten verfügbaren Sender suchen in der gewählten Richtung (im Frequenz-
band) suchen. Halten Sie PLAY/PAUSE gedrückt für einen automatischen Sendersuchlauf.
• Mit den Tasten VOL+ und VOL- (13, 14) können Sie die Lautstärke entsprechend Ihren Hörgewohn-
heiten anpassen.
Senderspeicher
Sie können bis zu 60 Sender speichern (30FM + 30DAB)
• Halten Sie im Radio- bzw- DAB-Modus PRE/MEM/PLAY MODE gedrückt, um den aktuell empfangenen
Sender abzuspeichern.
• Wählen Sie mit den Tasten Pfeiltasten / eine gewünschte Speicherposition.
• Speichern und bestätigen Sie die Auswahl mit ENTER (16).
• Wiederholen Sie die Schritte 1 bis 4, um weitere Sender zu speichern.
• Um gespeicherte Sender aufzurufen, drücken Sie wiederum PRE/MEM/PLAY MODE und suchen mit
den Pfeiltasten nach dem Speicherplatz des gewünschten Senders und bestätigen Sie Ihre Auswahl
mit ENTER.
• Wenn Sie das Gerät vom Stromnetz trennen, werden die gespeicherten Sender gelöscht. Sollen
diese gespeichert bleiben, wechseln Sie in den Standby-Modus.
• Sollten Sie 3 Sekunden keine Taste drücken, wird der Preset-Modus automatisch verlassen.
• Sie können die Speicherplätze jederzeit mit einem anderen Sender überschreiben.
Sender-Infos
Sowohl über die freien DAB- als auch die FM-Frequenzen werden Text-Infos mitgesendet. Diese können
Sie in beiden Modi über die Info-Taste (11) abrufen und auf dem Display anzeigen lassen. Drücken Sie
mehrmals. Die Info-Kette ist, so vom jeweiligen Sender alle Möglichkeiten ausgeschöpft werden
• im FM-Radio-Modus (RDS): Radio Text -> Art des Programms -> Signalstärke -> Datum/Uhrzeit ->
Frequenz -> Mono/Stereo Status und
• im DAB-Modus: Gruppenname -> Frequenz -> Transfer-Rate -> Signalstärke -> Datum/Uhrzeit ->
Art des Programms -> Info-Text zur aktuellen Sendung.
USB / SD
MP3-Dateien können von USB-Sticks (bzw. Festplatten, den meisten MP3-Playern) sowie SD-Karten aus-
gelesen und abgespielt werden.
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus oder in einen Modus, der nicht SD- oder USB-Modus ist.

• Legen Sie einen MP3-Dateien beinhaltenden USB-Stick oder eine SD-Karte ein. Achten Sie darauf,
diese nicht zu biegen oder verkehrt herum einzulegen. Wenden Sie keine Kraft an, um die Geräte
nicht zu beschädigen.
• Schalten Sie ein bzw. per FUNCTION (3) in den USB- / SD-Modus. Das Gerät liest die enthaltenen
Dateien automatisch aus und zeigt die Spielzeit auf dem Display an.
• Navigieren sie wie gewohnt, mit Pfeiltasten, Stop und Play/Pause (6, 7, 15, 16) durch Ihre Medienbi-
bliothek. Mit +10 (11) können Sie 10 Tracks auf einmal nach vorn springen.
PLAY MODE
Betätigen Sie PLAY MODE mehrfach, um verschiedene Abspielmodi durchzuschalten. Es gilt folgende per
Icon auf dem Display dargestellte Funktionskette:

Generelle Hinweise:
• Schalten Sie das Gerät aus oder in einen anderen Modus (z.B. Radio / DAB), bevor Sie USB- oder
SD-Speichermedien entfernen.
• Benötigtes MP3-Format:
Bitrate 32 ~ 320 kbps
Sampling Rate: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz
BT
• Wählen Sie den BT-Modus mit FUNCTION aus.
• Die BT-LED zeigt blinkend an, dass das Gerät im Such-Modus ist.
• Aktivieren Sie BT auf Ihrem Smartphone/Tablet/Computer. Wählen Sie und verbinden Sie mit DURA-
MAXX.
• Den erfolgreichen Verbindungsaufbau zeigt die nicht mehr blinkende LED an.
• Sie können nun Musik von Ihrem BT Gerät streamen. Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lautstärke in Ihrem
BT-Gerät.
AUX
• Schließen Sie externe Medienplayer wie MP3-Player, Smartphones o.ä. per 3,5mm-Audio-Klinkenka-
bel am AUX-Eingang an und schalten Sie per FUNCTION in den AUX-Modus.
• Vergewissern sie sich, dass die Ausgangslautstärke des externen Players ein adäquates Niveau hat
und regeln Sie gegebenenfalls an beiden Geräten nach.
• Steuern Sie Ihr Gerät wie gewohnt.

Initial Use
Installation
• Unpack all parts and remove protective material.
• Do not connect the unit to the mains before checking the main voltage and before all other connec-
tions have been made.
• Do not cover any vents and make sure that there is a space of several centimeters around the unit
for ventilation.
AC connection
• Connect the DC plug of AC/DC adaptor (included) to the DC jack (19) of the main unit, then, connect
the AC/DC adaptor to the AC outlet. The on/off indicator (2) will light up
• Turn on the unit by On/Off (4), if the LCD display (1) is on with backlighting, it means the power
supply is normal. Now your system is ready to play the music.
DC connection
For DC operation, please insert 8 pcs size C (UM-2) battery to the battery compartment (17) as the in-
dication in battery compartment and remove the DC plug from the DC jack (19).
FM-Radio and DAB Functions
Tuning in FM radio / DAB stations
• Turn on the unit by On/off button (4) & then press the Function button (3) until it reach the FM, re-
spectively the DAB mode.
• Press the Tune up or down button (6/7) to tune your desired station. Press and hold to make the
device jump to the next receivable station in the chosen direction.
• Press the Play/Scan button (15) once, unit will start to scan at tuning up direct until radio station
received. Press and hold the Play/Scan button (15) for one second, the unit will scan to tuning down
direction. If the radio data system (RDS) broadcasting signal received, the unit will set the actual
time automatically.
• In DAB mode, press the Play/Scan (15) button once, unit will start to full scan from range 11b-12d
one time within around 2 seconds. Then press Tune up or down buttons (6/7) to select your desired
DAB channel.
Radio data system (RDS) / DAB Info
This is the features to display the information released from the radio broadcast and will showed on LCD
display step by step as below by pressing the Info/+10 button (11) continuously.

• In FM mode these are: Radio text -> program type -> signal strength -> date/time -> frequency
-> mono/stereo
• whereas in DAB mode the additional info is: Group name -> frequency -> transfer rate -> signal
strength -> date/time -> program type -> scrolling text
Save and recall stations
• You can store up to 60 radio stations in the memory (30-FM/30-DAB).
• Set to FM/DAB mode and tune in the desired station.
• Press and hold the Pre/Mem/Play mode button (5) to enable memory state.
• Use tune up / down buttons (13/14) to select the desired station memory for storage.
• Press Stop/Enter (16) to confi rm the preset memory.
• Repeat step 2 to 5 to store other stations.
• To recall any previously saved station, press the Pre/Mem/Play mode button (5) once to enable recall
state, select the desired memory station using the tune up and down buttons (13/14) and confi rm
your choice hitting the enter button (16).
Please Note:
• The pre-set memories will be deleted completely when the main power supply is detached. You are
recommended to switch the system into standby mode for convenience usage.
• When in programming state, after 3 secs of no input the device will turn back to normal tuner mode
automatically.
• You can overwrite a present station by storing another frequency in its place.
MP3 Playback via USB/SD
The system is able to decode and playback all MP3 fi le which stored in the memory media with USB con-
necting port or SD/MMC card.
• Set the system at off mode fi rst or other function except USB/SD mode.
• Open the USB socket cover then plug-in the USB pen-drive faceing up and make sure it is going in
completely. Else, open the SD slot cover then insert the memory card in the direction of the arrow as
shown in the cover of the memory card slot. Insert straight without bending.
• Connecting the USB pen drive upside down or backwards could damage the audio system or the sto-
rage media (USB thumb drive). Check to be sure the direction is correct before connection.
• Turn on the unit again by On/Off button (4) and press Function button (3) to “USB” or “SD” mode.
The system will start reading the storage media automatically after connecting, and LCD display (1)
will show the running time of MP3 fi les.
• Navigate through your media library as you‘re used to (with , , and )
• Skip 10 tracks by using the +10 button.
• Repeat/Random mode: Press “Play/Mode“ (5) to select Repeat/Random functions as in this diagram:
Repeat 1 -> Repeat ALL -> Random -> O ff
Remarks
• The system can detect and read the fi le under MP3 format only at USB mode but not other music fi le
format.
• If you connect the system to MP3 player via the USB socket, due to variances in MP3 encoding for-
mat, some MP3 player may not be able to play via the USB socket. This is not a malfunction of the
system.

• The USB port does not support connection with USB extension cable and is not designed for commu-
nication with computer directly.
• To remove the USB pen drive, turn off the power or switch the function mode to either Aux or FM fi rst.
For USB port – un-plug it by pulling out from the USB socket directly.
MP3 track format requirements:
Bit rate: 32 kbps~320kbps
Sampling rate: 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz
BT
• Set the main Function selector (3) to BT mode.
• The BT LED indicator (12) will be fl ashing indicating BT is not connected.
• Switch on the BT feature of your BT device (such as mobile phone) and select “DURAMAXX”.
• Once the connection is established, the BT LED (12) will light up.
AUX
Connect another audio device, e.g. (portable) CD player, MP3 player, (portable) cassette player, iPod, etc.
to this system with a 3.5mm audio cable (not supplied). Connect one end of this cord to the headphone
jack of the external device and the other end to the aux-in jack (9) at the side of the unit. Then press
Function button (3) to “AUX” mode. Start to playback your external device to enjoy your music.

Installation
• N‘installez pas l‘appareil sur d‘autres appareils qui chauff ent. Cette chaleur pourrait endommager

• N‘exposez pas cet appareil à l‘ensoleillement direct, à de fortes températures, à une humidité im-

Transport de l‘appareil
Veuillez conserver l‘emballage d‘origine. Pour garantir la meilleure protection de l‘appareil lors d‘n
transport, remettez l‘appareil dans son emballage d‘origine.
Nettoyage des surfaces externes

Utilisation de l‘appareil
Utilisation sur secteur
• Branchez l‘appareil sur le secteur à l‘aide de l‘adaptateur AC/DC fourni et de la prise d‘alimentation
(19).
• Allumez l‘appareil avec la touche marche /arrêt (5). L‘écran LCD s‘allume et l‘appareil est prêt à
être utilisé.

Utilisation sur piles
• Avant d‘insérer les piles, assurez-vous que l‘appareil est débranché du secteur.
• Pour le fonctionnement sur piles, installez 8 piles de type „C“ (UM-2) dans le compartiment des
piles – en suivant les indications sur l‘appareil.
Fonctions Radio et DAB
Recherche de stations
• Allumez l‘appareil et appuyez sur la touche de sélection des fonctions (3) pour lancer le mode FM“.
• Réglez la station de radio désirée à l‘aide des touches fl échées (6, 7).
• Maintenez les touches pour lancer une recherche automatique des stations. L‘appareil recherche
les stations suivantes disponibles dans la direction choisie (de la bande de fréquences). Maintenez
PLAY/PAUSE pour une recherche automatique de stations.
• Avec les touches VOL+ et VOL- (13, 14), vous pouvez ajuster le volume selon vos habitudes.
Mémorisation de stations
Vous pouvez mémoriser jusqu‘à 60 stations (30 FM + 30 DAB)
• En mode Radio ou DAB, maintenez la touche PRE/MEM/PLAY MODE pour mémoriser la station en
cours de réception.
• Choisissez un emplacement mémoire avec les touches fl échées .
• Mémorisez et confi rmez votre choix avec ENTER (16).
• Répétez les étapes 1 à 4 pour mémoriser d‘autres stations.
• Pour lire des stations mémorisées, appuyez de nouveau sur PRE/MEM/PLAY MODE et recherchez
avec les touches fl échées l‘emplacement de la station souhaitée, puis confi rmez votre choix avec
ENTER.
• Lorsque vous débranche z l‘appareil du secteur, les stations mémorisées sont eff acées. Si vous
souhaitez les conserver en mémoire, mettez- l‘appareil en mode veille.
• Si vous n‘appuyez sur aucune touche pendant 3 secondes, vous quittez automatiquement le mode
Preset.
• Vous pouvez à tout moment écraser un emplacement mémoire avec une autre station.
Infos des stations
Des informations texte sont transmises sur les fréquences gratuites DAB et FM. Vous pouvez consul-
ter celles-ci et les affi cher sur l‘écran dans chacun des modes en appuyant sur la touche Info (11).
Appuyez plusieurs fois. La chaîne d‘informations est présentée de la façon suivante selon le mode
• En mode radio FM (RDS) : texte radio -> style du programme -> force du signal-> date/heure->
fréquence -> mono/stéréo, et
• en mode DAB-Modus : nom du groupe -> fréquence -> taux de transfert -> force du signal ->
date/heure -> style du programme -> texte d‘info sur l‘émission en cours.
USB / SD
Les fi chiers MP3 des clés USB peuvent être lus (ou disques durs, ou la plupart des lecteurs MP3) de
même que les cartes SD.
• Eteignez l‘appareil ou choisissez un mode diff érent de SD ou USB.
• Branchez une clé USB ou une carte SD contenant des fi chiers MP3. Veille à ne pas tordre celle-ci
et à respecter le sens d‘insertion. N‘exercez aucune force pour ne pas endommager l‘appareil.

• Passez en mode USB/SD par FUNCTION (3). L‘appareil lit automatiquement les fi chiers contenus
et indique la durée de lecture sur l‘écran.
• Naviguez comme d‘habitude avec les touches fl échées, Stop et Play/Pause (6, 7, 15, 16) dans vot-

Conseils généraux :
• Eteignez l‘appareil ou changez de mode (par ex Radio / DAB), avant de retirer la clé USB ou la
carte SD.
• Format MP3 nécessaire :

Sampling Rate : 32kHz, 44.1kHz, 48kHz
BT
• Choisissez le mode BT avec FUNCTION.
• La LED BT se met à clignoter car l‘appareil lest en ode recherche.
• Activez BT sur votre smartphone / tablette / PC. Sélectionnez et connectez-vous avec DURAMAXX.
• La LED s‘arrête de clignoter pour signifi er que la connexion a été établie avec succès.
• Vous pouvez maintenant diff user de la musique depuis votre appareil BT. Faites attention au volu-
me de votre appareil BT.
AUX
• Branchez des lecteurs externes de médias tels que lecteurs MP3, smartphones ou autres par le
jack audio 3,5 mm sur l‘entrée AUX et passez en mode AUX par FUNCTION.
• Assurez-vous que le volume de sortie du lecteur externe est adéquat et réglez-le au besoin sur les
deux appareils.
• Contrôlez votre appareil comme d‘habitude.
