We’re so glad you decided to read the instructions to your new Duux air humidier! Many users casually
dismiss instructions and seek to gure it out on their own. But studies show that people who read
instructions will get up to speed more quickly and eciently than those who poke around with trial and error.

Don’t let his good looks distract you from its quality. Ovi provides the best of both worlds: great style with
high performance humidication. Equipped with a 360° water lter, it removes calcium particles from the
water and protects your humidier against hard water stains to extend its lifespan. The humidier can be
lled from the top so you won’t have to walk your tank to the sink every time you need to rell. Additional
features such as adjustable mist output control, rell indicator warning and auto shut down provide you with
optimal convenience for everyday use. And for those who love wellness: Ovi can be used with your favorite
essential oil!

Note: Please take notice of below instructions
and the separately included warning sheet before
using the product.
Installation
• Please do not set up in a place where humidity
directly hits curtains, furniture, indoor plants or
doors. It can cause stains and deformation.
• Please place on a horizontal and stable surface,
otherwise the might be a risk of water spilling.
• Please do not set up in a place where only
children are present such as children’s rooms. It
can lead to injury or breakdown if the device is
knocked over or climbed on.
• Please do not place anywhere where items
may fall from above. It can lead to ignition or a
breakdown.
• Please do not set up near devices that are
not compatible with water such as PCs or
smartphones. It can cause ignition or a
breakdown.
• Please do not use in any surrounding that could
lead to the water in the water tray or in the device
to freeze. However, if the water in the water tray
or the device is frozen please do not operate
the device until the ice has thawed. It can cause
ignition or a breakdown.
Placement
Please place away from walls, windows and
furniture.
• Even when it is placed at a sucient distance
from walls or furniture, if it is used in the same
place for a long period of time, it can become
dirty with scale. We recommend regular cleaning.
Please consult chapter 4 for maintenance
instructions.
• Please avoid places with direct sunlight. There
is a risk that the device discolors.

• If there is interference with TV, radio or
other electrical devices, please move the
device.
• When moving the device please move it
with the base of the device held securely
• The device does not have an automatic
humidity adjustment feature. Wet oors
and condensation can form easily in
rooms with lower temperatures or high
levels of humidity.
• Adjust the level of humidity with the mist
button, with adequate consideration of
the space the device is located in, and by
either raising the room temperature or
turning o the device.
1Pour water in from the top,

position or fast, water can leak
inside the device and cause a

Attention: Please supply water
by putting water in a watering can.
If water is supplied directly from a

leaking inside the device and lead

at the place where you plan to use
the device. If the device is moved
after the water has been supplied,
water can spill, causing water to
enter the inside of the device leading
to a breakdown.

before removing the water tank from the device.

2Stop the water supply if the water supply
entrance is closed with the water supply stop
indicator.
Attention: If water continues to be supplied
after the water supply entrance is closed by the
water supply stop indicator, water can spill over the
top, enter the device and can cause a breakdown.
3Supply water if power / water supply indicator
ashes red.
Note: Even if the water supply stop indicator
disappears, there is still water left in the water tray.
Use can be continued until the power / water supply
indicator lamp ashes red. Please supply water once
the power / water supply indicator starts to ash red.

Connecting the product
1Put the power plug into a wall outlet.
Caution:
• Do not plug in the device or pull plug out of the
power supply with wet hands or use the product.
• Thoroughly dry your hands before you use the
device, in particular after pouring water in the
water tank.
• Avoid connecting the device using other plugs,
multi-outlet and extension cords.
• Do not use when the power cord is bundled
together.
2Turn the power / mist output switch to the top
or bottom to switch on the power.
• Once the power is connected, the power /
supply water indicator ashes and the fan starts
to rotate.
• Once the power / humidity switch is set to II,
the humidifying level is at the maximum setting.
When the device is set to I, the humidity level is
at the minimum setting.
• If the power / water supply indicator ashes
red when the power is connected, there is
insucient water. Please supply water (see
chapter 2) via the top of the device.

Aromatherapy use
1 Remove the top cover and remove the lter.
Attention: Please lift vertically upwards when removing
the top cover and the lter.
2Pour a few drops the aromatic oils into the aroma tray.
Attention: Please do not put anything other than aromatic
oils into the aromatics tray.
Attention: Please do not put aromatic oils in the water tray.
Attention: Depending on the aromatic oils used, the color
in the oils can lead to a change in color of the aromatics tray.
Please be advised of this.
3 Return the lter and replace the top cover on the device
3 Switch the power / humidifying switch to OFF
after use and remove the power plug.
Attention: When removing the power plug,
please always do so while holding the power plug.
If you remove the power plug by pulling the power
cable, it can cause the power cable to break.

3. Functions
Note: see product overview (chapter 1) for
reference.
1Top cover
The structure is such that the evaporated steam
is spread eciently. Please always leave this
cover on during use. When removing the cover
please lift it straight up.
2Max. water supply indicator
If the supply water in the water tray exceeds a
certain amount, the water supply stop indicator
becomes visible. If the water tray is full, the
water supply stop indicator signals this.
Note: Even if the indicator lowers and
disappears, there is still water left in the water tray.
It can continue to be used until the power / water
supply indicator starts to ash red. Please supply
water when the power / water supply indicator
lamp starts to ash red.
3Water supply entrance
Water enters the water tray within the main body
from here. Once the water tray is full all of the
water supply stop indicators are displayed and
water supply entrance is closed.
Attention: When the water supply entrance is
closed, please do not supply water forcibly. It can lead
to water getting into parts other than the water tray,
which can result in the breakdown of the main body.
4Power plug
Please directly connect the plug to a power
socket on the wall.
5Power / mist output switch
If you turn the switch to the setting ‘humidier II’
(maximum) or ‘I’ (minimum), the device switches
on and starts humidifying. If the switch is turned
to OFF the power turns o.
Note: As this device uses evaporation, there is no
visible mist during humidication.
6Power / water supply indicator
It lids white when the power is connected and
ashes red when water needs to be supplied.
7Aromatics tray
Use this tray to add aromatic oils.
Note: Aromatic oils are not included.
8Water tray
Stores the water poured in through the top of
the device.

4. Maintenance
Important: Be sure to remove the power plug
from the outlet before carrying out maintenance.
Important: Do not soak immerse the power
plug or the device in water.
Important: We recommend daily maintenance
to prevent the growth of bacteria and scale inside
the water tank.
Daily maintanance
Please replace the water in the water tray with
fresh tap water every day. Dirt in the water or scale
can trigger the growth of bacteria or mould, leading
to bad odour or damage to health.
Please follow the steps below every day after use:
1 Switch the power button to OFF and remove
the power plug;
2Remove the top cover from device and remove
the lter.
Attention:: When removing the top cover and
the lter, please lift them straight upwards.
3Remove the water tray from the device and
throw away the water remaining in the water
tray.
Attention:The fan may continue to rotate even
when the power is switched o. Please check that it
has fully stopped rotating. Please do not touch the
rotating fan under any circumstances.
Attention:Please return the water tray to the
device correctly. If the water tray is not correctly
placed, power does not connect properly.

Note: If using on consecutive days, please carry out
maintenance by applying the following procedure once
a week. If this type of maintenance is not conducted,
scale may form on the inside and shorten the life of the
equipment or cause a breakdown. Moreover, if the device
continues to be used with no maintenance, it may lead to
the growth of bacterial and mould/bad odour.
1 Switch the power button to OFF and remove the
power plug;
2 Remove the cover and remove the lter.
Attention: When lifting the lter and the top cover
please lift them vertically upwards.
Attention: Remove the water tray from the main body
and throw away the water remaining in the water tray.
Attention: Fan can continue to rotate even after the
power is switched o. Please do not touch a rotating fan.
Important: Please make sure the lter has fully dried
before re-use.
3Add dishwashing detergent to a soft sponge for
dishes and wash the water tray;
4Rinse the water tray well so that no washing up liquid
remains and dry the water tray thoroughly;

5 Immerse the removed lter in lukewarm
water below 40°C and dry in a place with
proper ventilation with no direct sun light after
washing.
6Please wet a soft cloth with lukewarm water and
wring it, then wipe o the dirt on the bottom
and sides of the inside of the device.
Maintenance before storing
Please conduct the following maintenance before
storing the device:
1 Follow the same steps under ‘Weekly
maintenance’
2Dry each component before assembling it
3 Check that each component, including the lter,
has fully dried. Then assemble the device and
fully store it.
Spare parts
Spare parts and accessories can be requested at
the point of purchase or local distributor.
Attention: Please do not use metal scourers,
melamine sponges, polishing powers, or solvents
like benzene, thinner, alcohol or other.
Attention: Please ensure water cannot get onto
the fan. Moreover, please do not wipe the fan – not
even with a soft cloth! ¬– if it contains water. It can
cause a breakdown.
Attention: Please place the water tray correctly
in the device. If the water tray is not correctly placed,
the power will not connect.

6. FAQ
Q. HowoftenshouldIreplacemylter?
A. Depending on the hardness and amount of
calcium in your tap water, we suggest to replace
your lter approx. every 3 to 6 months. After
this period it will become less eective in terms
of water absorbance, calcium removal and
bacterial ltering.
Q. Power / water supply indicator
doesn’t light up.
A. - Is the power plug inserted all the way to the
back of the socket?
- Is there a power cut?
- Is the water tray correctly installed in the
device? If the water tray is not properly
installed, the power does not connect.
Q. Power/watersupplyindicatorashesred.
A. Water supply is needed. Please supply water
from the top of the device.
Q. Strange noises accompany the use of the
product.
A. This device evaporates using a fan. Therefore, a
fan is constantly rotating during the operation
of this device and there are times you would
hear the noise of the fan.
Q. Mist can’t be seen even when the power is
connected.
A. This device humidies using evaporation.
Evaporative types of humidiers humidify
without generating a mist hence there will be
no visible mist.
Q. The air smells strange.
A. - Have you changed the water? Please replace
with fresh water every day.
- Is the lter dirty / at the end of its lifespan?
Please see ‘Maintenance once a week (lter
and main body)’ (Chapter 4) and/or replace
the lter.

• This device may only be used in accordance with these instructions.

• Do not install the product during a thunderstorm.
• Do not cover the product with a towel or blanket.
• Never use extension cords with power adaptors.
• Do not open or disassemble the product when powered on.
• Do not use the product near water.
• Do not install the product near a heat source.
• Do not expose to direct sunlight.
• Only use the chargers and power adaptors provided. Do not use other chargers or power adaptors as
this may damage the device. Check if the voltage indicated on the adapters matches the local voltage
before connecting to the device.
• Do not touch the charger or plug contacts with sharp or metal objects.
• Never open the casing of the product in order to prevent electric shocks. Opening the casing will
invalidate the warranty.
• Insert the USB or power plug completely. Incomplete placement may cause short circuit.
• Always remove the plug from the cord when the product is not being used.
• When removing the plug, pull on the USB or power plug and not the wire.
• Only connect or disconnect the adapter to/from the device when removed from the power supply.
• Repairs may only be performed by a qualied electrician. Do not try to repair the device yourself. Always
return to the point of sale in the event of defects or damage.
• Only use accessories that are recommended by the supplier. Use of other accessories may cause dam-
age to the device and pose a risk to the user.
• The outer packaging of this product can be returned as waste paper. However, we recommend keeping
all packaging, so that the unit can be transported safely, in the appropriate packaging.
Warranty conditions
This Duux product has a warranty of 12 months after the date of purchase. During this period
we guarantee the repair of defects caused by material and manufacturing defects. This must be
assessed by the distributor in the country concerned. In the event of a defect please rst consult
your usermanual and the online FAQ (frequently updated on www.duux.com) at all times. If no solution is
oered, you are requested to contact your supplier. If the supplier is unable to repair the defect, they will
contact Duux customer service.
Warranty period
• The warranty period will not be extended, even in the event of repairs being made.
• The warranty provides a right to have a product repaired but not to exchange or return a product.
• Duux’s obligation under this warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of defective parts as
deemed necessary and as covered under this warranty.
• Duux reserves the right to improve the design of any product without assuming any obligation to modify
the previously manufactured products.
• The warranty may only be invoked if you provide Duux with the original purchase receipt along with the
defective product. Your warranty registration must be on le when warranty service is required.
No warranty will be provided in the following circumstances
• If you have made or arranged for modications or repairs to be made without written permission rst
having been received from Duux or the retailer.
• Normal wear and tear or damage due to accident, carelessness, lack of maintenance, misapplication,
improper use or use of accessories and parts which are not manufactured by Duux, as well as altered
and/or disassembled components.
• Defects resulting from any use or maintenance other than that indicated in the user guide.

• This warranty period commences upon purchase of the product and is validated by registering online at

• In the event of any dispute regarding product warranty, Duux reserves the right to take all nal decisions

Garantievoorwaarden
Dit Duux product heeft een garantie van 12 maanden na aankoopda
tum. Wij garanderen gedurende die periode de kosteloze herstelling van defecten ontstaan door
materiaal- en constructiefouten. Een en ander ter uiteindelijke beoordeling van de importeur in
het land. Bemerkt u een defect, raadpleeg dan eerst deze gebruikershandleiding en de online FAQ (regel-
matig geüpdate op www.duux.com). Geeft deze hieromtrent geen uitsluitsel, raadpleeg dan de leverancier
van de babyfoon. Als deze niet in staat is het probleem op te lossen zullen zij contact opnemen met Duux
voor de verdere afhandeling.
Garantieperiode
• De garantietermijn wordt niet verlengd, zelfs niet in het geval van reparaties.
• De garantie geeft recht op reparatie van uw product, maar niet op het ruilen of retourneren van een
product.
• Duux’s verplichting onder deze garantie is beperkt tot de reparatie of vervanging van defecte onderdel-
en indien nodig en vallend binnen de garantie periode.
• Duux behoudt zich het recht voor om het ontwerp van elk product te verbeteren zonder enige verplicht-
ing om eerder vervaardigde producten aan te passen of te vervangen.
• Er kan alleen beroep worden gedaan op de garantie met het originele aankoopbewijs in combinatie
met het defecte product. Uw garantie moet bij ons geregistreerd staan wanneer service onder garantie
vereist is.
De garantie vervalt in de volgende gevallen
• Als er aanpassingen of reparaties zijn gemaakt of gearrangeerd zonder voorafgaande schriftel ijke
toestemming van Duux of de winkelier.
• Normale slijtage of schade als gevolg van een ongeval, onzorgvuldigheid, gebrek aan onderhoud,
verkeerde toepassing, oneigenlijk gebruik of het gebruik van accessoires en onderdelen die niet zijn
gefabriceerd door Duux, evenals gewijzigde en/of gedemonteerde onderdelen.
• Defecten die voortvloeien uit gebruik of onderhoud dat afwijkt van de gebruikershandleiding.
Belangrijk
• De garantieperiode vangt aan bij aankoop van het product en wordt gevalideerd bij de online registratie
op www.duux.com.
• In het geval van een geschil met betrekking tot de productgarantie, behoudt Duux zich het recht voor om
alle denitieve beslissingen te nemen inzake garanties.

• Gebruik alleen de laders en adapters die verstrekt zijn bij het product. Gebruik geen andere laders of
voedingsadapters omdat dit kan het apparaat beschadigen. Controleer of spanningswaarden op de
adapters overeenkomt met de plaatselijke netspanning voordat u het apparaat verbind.
• Raak de adapter of stekker niet aan met scherpe of metalen voorwerpen.

• Trek bij het verwijderen van de adapter altijd aan de stekker, niet aan het snoer.
• Sluit of koppel de adapter alleen aan of los wanneer de stekker niet is aangesloten op netspanning.
• Reparaties mogen alleen worden uitgevoerd door een gekwaliceerd elektricien. Probeer niet om het
apparaat zelf te repareren. Breng het product altijd terug naar het verkooppunt in geval van defecten of
beschadigingen.
• Gebruik alleen accessoires die door de leverancier worden aanbevolen. Het gebruik van andere acces-
soires kan schade aan het product veroorzaken en vormen een risico voor de gebruiker.
• De buitenverpakking van dit product kan worden geretourneerd als oud papier. Toch raden wij aan om

• Stecken Sie den USB-Stecker oder Netzstecker vollständig ein.Unvollständiges Einstecken kann einen
Kurzschluss verursachen.
• Entfernen Sie den Stecker stets von dem Kabel, wenn das Produkt nicht benutzt wird.
• Ziehen Sie beim Entfernen des Steckers an dem USB-Stecker oder Netzstecker und nicht andem Draht.
• Schließen Sie das Netzteil nur an das Gerät an bzw. entfernen Sie es von diesem, wenn das Gerät nicht
an den Strom angeschlossen ist.
• Reparaturen dürfen ausschließlich von einem qualizierten Elektriker durchgeführt werden. Versuchen
Sie nicht, das Gerät selbst zu reparieren. Bringen Sie das Gerät immer an die Verkaufsstelle zurück, wenn
dieses Mängel oder Schäden aufweist.
• Verwenden Sie ausschließlich Zubehörteile, die vom Lieferanten empfohlen werden. Andere Zube-
hörteile können Schäden an dem Gerät verursachen und stellen ein Risiko für den Benutzer dar.
• Die äußere Verpackung dieses Produkts kann als Altpapier zurückgegeben werden. Wir empfehlen
jedoch, sämtliche Verpackungen aufzubewahren, damit das Gerät in der geeigneten Verpackung sicher
transportiert werden kann.
Garantiebedingungen
Dieses Duux Produkt hat eine Garantie von 12 Monaten ab Kaufdatum. Für diesen Zeitraum
garantieren wir die Reparatur von Defekten aufgrund von Material- und Fertigungsfehlern.
Dies muss durch den Vertriebspartner im entsprechenden Land bestätigt werden. Im Fall eines
Defekts sehen Sie bitte zunächst in der Bedienungsanleitung nach und sehen Sie sich die Online-FAQs
(regelmäßige Aktualisierungen auf www.duux.com) an. Wird kein Lösungsvorschlag angeboten, so wenden
Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler. Kann Ihr Fachhändler den Defekt nicht beheben, so setzt er sich mit dem
Duux-Kundendienst in Verbindung.
Garantiezeit
Die Garantiezeit wird nicht verlängert, auch nicht im Fall von Reparaturen.
• Die Garantie berechtigt zur Reparatur eines Produkts, nicht jedoch zum Umtausch oder der Rückgabe.
• Die Verpichtungen von Duux gemäß dieser Garantie sind auf die Reparatur oder den Umtausch defek-
ter Teile beschränkt, wie durch diese Garantie beschrieben und abgedeckt.
• Duux behält sich das Recht der Verbesserung des Designs von Produkten vor, ohne zur Modizierung
zuvor gefertigter Produkte verpichtet zu sein.
• Garantieansprüche können Sie nur geltend machen, wenn Sie Duux den Original- Kaufbeleg zusammen
mit dem defekten Produkt vorlegen. Ihre Garantieregistrierung muss vorliegen, wenn Sie eine Garantie
in Anspruch nehmen.
Unter folgenden Bedingungen haben Sie keine Garantieansprüche
• Sofern Änderungen oder Reparaturen ohne schriftliche Zustimmung durch Duux oder den Fachhändler
durchgeführt wurden.
• Normaler Verschleiß oder Schäden aufgrund von Unfall, Fahrlässigkeit, unterlassener Wartung und
Pege, Fehlanwendung, unsachgemäßer Benutzung oder Benutzung von Zubehör und Teilen, die nicht
durch Duux gefertigt wurden sowie veränderte bzw. demontierte Komponenten.
• Schäden aufgrund anderer Benutzung bzw. Pege und Wartung, wie in der Bedienungsanleitung
beschrieben.

• Die Garantiezeit beginnt mit dem Kauf des Produkts und wird durch Online- Registrierung bei
www.duux.com validiert.
• Bei Streitigkeiten zur Produktgarantie behält sich Duux die endgültige Entscheidung zur Garantie vor.

Condiciones de garantía
El proyector para bebés Bluetooth® Duux dispone de una garantía de 12 meses contados a
partir de la fecha de compra. Durante este periodo garantizamos la reparación de cualquier
defecto provocado por defectos de material o fabricación. Esto debe evalu arlo el distribuidor
del respectivo país. En casode que encuentre un defecto, rogamos que primero consulteel manual de
usuario y las preguntas frecuentes online (que se actualizan con frecuencia en www.duux.com) en todo
momento. En caso de que no se le ofrezca ninguna solución, se le solicita que se ponga en contacto con el
proveedor. En caso de que el proveedor no pueda reparar el defecto, póngase en contacto con atención
al cliente de Duux.
Periodo de garantía
• El periodo de garantía no se prolongará aun en el caso de que se produzcan reparaciones.
• La garantía incluye el derecho de que se le repare el producto pero no que se le cambie odevuelva el
producto.
• Las obligaciones de Duux bajo esta garantía se limitan a la reparación o sustitución de los componentes
defectuosos como se considere necesario y tal como queda cubierto bajo esta garantía.
• Duux se reserva el derecho de mejorar el diseño de cualquier producto sin asumir ninguna obligación de
modicar los productos fabricados con anterioridad.
• Esta garantía sólo puede invocarse si se entrega a Duux la factura original de compra conjuntamente
con el producto defectuoso. El registro de garantía debe encontrarse archivado cuando se solicite la
reparación en garantía.
No se aplicará la garantía en las siguientes circunstancias
• En caso de que haya realizado o dispuesto modicacioneso reparaciones realizadas sin quese haya
recibido un permiso previo por escrito de Duux oel distribuidor.
• El desgaste normal o daños debidos a accidentes, negli gencias, falta de mantenimiento, aplicación
incorrecta, uso indebido o uso de accesorios y componentes no fabricados por Duux, así como compo-
nentes modicados y/o desmontados.
• Aquellos defectos que se deriven de un uso o manteni miento diferente al indicado en la guí a de
usuario.

• El periodo de garantía comienza a la fecha de compra del producto y se valida al registrarse online en

• En el caso de que se produzca cualquier litigio respecto a la garantía del producto, Duux sereserva el
